Project of Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area in Bohemian Karst

Title: Project of Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area in Bohemian Karst Objective: The objective of this work was to create an Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area of the Bohemian Karst. The trail, natural and cultural attractions and other information process into guidebook which will be available at tourist information centers and on the Internet. Methods: Collecting and sorting information about the natural and cultural wealth of the region. Summarizing information in guidebook and creating a trail. Subsequent test the applicability of a booklet form of a questionnaire to a group of cyclists who created the route with the completed booklets. Results: The results of this work are two proposal of Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area of the Bohemian Karst, which are processed into guidebook that contains trail description, information about each trail and map material. The final form of the trail is also based on results of questionnaires and direct responses of testees. The guidebook can be offered to information centers in the area of Bohemian Karst or through them be available in electronic form on the Internet. Cross-curricular theme "Forest" and forest pedagogy as one of the possibilities of its realization

Cross-curricular themes are important formative elements of education. A forest ecosystem is an environment with great importance and potential, and knowledge of forest ecosystem, processes taking place in it and human activities associated with it can be included in many educational areas. By combining these two phenomena we gain cross- curricular theme "Forest". A possible instrument for realization this theme is the forest pedagogy. In the theoretical part of the work is the term cross-curricular theme delineated and defined in general and also specifically on the example of cross-curricular theme "Forest". About the forest ecosystem are given knowledge that contribute to spreading the results of forestry research and to modernization of teaching about the forest ecosystem at elementary and secondary schools. The forest pedagogy is introduced as an instrument that can significantly contributes to deepen the learning points about "Forest" and its presentation as cross-curricular theme. The project of educational cycling trails in Protected Landscape Area of Eagle mountains

Title: The project of educational cycling trails in Protected Landscape Area of Eagle mountains Objective The aim of this work is to create prject of three cycling trails, with three degrees of difficulty in eagle mountains area. The trails will be shown in information brochure with photos and information about this area. The brochure will be available in tourist information centre and online on some web page. Methods Analyzes of existing trails in this area, searching for information about interesting places, history and geografical points. Consulting and verifying this information with people from Eagle mountains PLA (Protected Landscepe Area) organization and interviewing locals about this area. Verifying trails by group of cyclists. Results The result of this thesis is a brochure with three bicycle educational trails in eagle mountains. The brochure contains maps, photos, cultural stops and other informatin about this area. Turistika and educational trails in the Jizerské hory

Title: Turistika and Educational Trails in the Jizerské hory Objectives: The main targets of the theses are to introduce hiking, biking and cross-country skiing as the most used types of turistika kinds in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA, to get acquainted with the Jizerské hory and educational trails located there and to explain the potential for their development in the future. Methods: To introduce hiking, biking and cross-country skiing, the following sources have been used: outdoor activities, the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA and educational trails professional literature; websites of main institutions, i. e. Czech Tourist Club, Nature and Landscape Protection Agency of the Czech Republic and further available. To create an overview of the current state of educational trails in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA and possible alternatives for their expansion, the internet research has been carried out and the obtained information have been related to the Jizerské hory. Results: All educational trails in the Jizerské hory Mountains PLA are focused on hiking. They are realized in the form of information boards. Modern technologies using smartphones, which could eliminate the use of boards, have already been used on educational trails in other areas. They are advantageous in many points of view....

Proposal for Revitalization of the Nature Trail "Through the Valley of the Labe River" and its Verification and Use in Practice at Primary Schools

The diploma thesis is focused on the didactic use of the educational trail through the Elbe Valley for students of the 2nd grade of elementary school. The main goal of the thesis was to create a topic for the practical use of the existing educational trail through the Elbe Valley and at the same time to prove that excursion as an organizational form of teaching is thanks to its versatility an effective tool in the process of education and despite many difficulties to implement it it is worth the effort. The theoretical part includes the characteristics of the educational trail and its surroundings, the purpose, function and organization of the excursion and the inclusion of the science excursion in the Framework Educational Programmes of Basic Education. The second part of the thesis is a research - it contains a description of the author's worksheet and testing methods, i.e. pretest/posttest and attitude questionnaire. These were used on a pilot group of elementary school students participating in the excursion. The results of the survey show that the excursion can be perceived as an effective and at the same time popular form of teaching, through which it is possible to increase the effectiveness of teaching science at elementary school. Renovation of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí

The subject of the Bachelor Thesis was the reconstruction of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí. The content of the thesis was the Documentation for Building Permits and Documentation for Building Construction, based on the architectural study, which was created in the subject AG34-Atelier of Architectural Design in the winter semester. The building is situated on the outskirts of the town of Ústí nad Orlicí, near the village Kerhatice. Tichá Orlice flows nearby, and on the northern side of the building the terrain rises into a wooded hill. The station was built in 1874. Because of spatial reasons the building was placed between two groups of tracks. At the moment the only access to the building is by underpasses or by access roads for firemen from Nádražní street. Because of the construction of the new railway station, underpasses to platforms and their repairs, the old railway station was decommissioned, but the building was saved and declared as a cultural monument. The main idea was to design an appropriate solution for the using of the old building and preserve its original appearance from the time of construction in 1874. Restore the restaurant in a single-storey building. Create residential areas for the building manager, provide temporary accommodation for travelers, locate interesting historical information about the building and linking the building to the educational trail, possible multifunctional spaces such as workshops, offices and a small shop. Also rental spaces for hairdressers and cosmetics are also available. The assignment was also a space solution next to the object that is not being maintained. Therefore, a park layout was designed which serves passengers as a relaxation zone, for children for fun. The layout is an abstraction of the sound curve of a going train.

Natural and Historical View of the Area Dolní Poohří between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří

Title: Natural and Historical view of the area Dolní Poohří between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří. Abstract: This presented thesis deals with detailed characteristics of Dolní Poohří in the area between Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří. The theoretical part presents a general research of the area from the natural scientific and historical points of view. It outlines geological and pedological situation of the area which influences plant composition. Majority of the thesis is dedicated to the ecosystem of bottomland woods and to their historical evolution in the area of Dolní Poohří. It focuses on the flora and dendroflora of the observed locality and links them to mutual connection. It also summarizes individual local species of vegetation. This thesis also describes the history of the area and points out especially castle area Libochovice and Budyně nad Ohří from the historical point of view. It offers a brief historical overview of modifications of castle garden and park, as well as their current situation and plant composition. In the practical part, an educational tourist trail from Libochovice to Budyně nad Ohří has been designed.
