Workers's adaptation in a small organization

Dissertation deals with an analysis of an adaptation process in a small organization. It handles placing of the adaptation process into a context of human resources activities. Individual areas of the adaptation are specified - working adaptation, social adaptation and adaptation to a company culture. Also aims of the adaptation, factors influencing the process of adaptation in the company, planning and management of the adaptation are specified. The process of adaptation, elements and tools used during creation of the adaptation process are described. The dissertation includes the survey analyzing the process of adaptation in small organizations and describes the specifics identified.

The work followed the specifics of the educational work between 2-3 years of age in an ordinary preschool. The theoretical part is based on developmental psychological characteristics of this period. It monitored the impact of early interactions mother - child, influence of family environment and other factors affecting the child's separation from the mother and the subsequent adaptation and socialization in a preschool environment. The survey includes six case studies of selected two-year old children (position of the child), 24 selected parents of preschool children within one preschool (parents' position) and 51 preschools (teacher's position). The research followed the specific impact of key factors influencing the course of adaptation and socialization of a child under 3 years of age in a preschool environment, including the anticipated impact of key chronological age. Socializing processes during the child's adaptation in the kindergarten

The dissertation is concerned with socializing processes of pre-school children around three years of age. The first theoretical part is globally concerned with personality socialization and highlights the significance of socialization in the healthy psychical progression of human beings, as well as the importance of understanding the problems of socialization for the pedagogical profession. This knowledge is specific and generalized in a situational context when the child comes to the kindergarten for the first time and gets slowly untied from the family, developing new relationships outside the family sphere. Socialization in the kindergarten is influenced by many internal and external factors. These factors matter if the child coming to the new kindergarten environment will incorporate to this society without any complications. If any complications appear during the incorporation, internal and external factors also influence the period how long they will last and also they influence the manner how the child will manage them as well. Staff Adaptation in Selected Company

The main aim of the master's thesis is to evaluate the staff adaptation management system in the company Personal Partner s. r. o. Various techniques for data collection have been used in the preparation of the thesis. The theoretical part of the work represents a review, based on topic-specific and professional literature, which covers the necessary terminology and the specifics of human resources management and employee adaptation. The analytical part of the thesis makes use of descriptive analysis for the purposes of company characterisation. It further focuses on staff fluctuation in the company in the years 2012 - 2015. The analytical part aims at evaluating the current state of the staff adaptation management system and has been carried out on the basis of a questionnaire survey and an interview with a human resources employee. The questionnaire survey presented the opportunity to assess the situation from the staff's viewpoint, while the interview with the human resources specialist helped describe the system's operation from the employer's perspective. The final chapter of the thesis consists of recommendations for improvement of the stability of the company's human resources.
Staff Adaptation in Selected Company

The diploma thesis is focused on the employee adaptation process in selected company, Plzeňský Prazdroj Inc. The theoretical section of the diploma thesis provides the knowledge gained from the study of professional literature. The theoretical part particularly reflects the insights concerning HR work, HR management and employee adaptation. The practical part describes the adaptation process of new employees in the Prazdroj brewery. The main objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the adaptation process of new employees in Prazdroj brewery on the basis of empirical research. The data needed to meet the objectives were gained from internal documents of the company Plzeňský Prazdroj, a. s., through interviews with an employee of the HR department and through implementation of the questionnaire survey. In the final part of the diploma thesis the results of this survey were used to set up a proposal that aims at improving the effectiveness and the current state of the adaptation process in the Prazdroj brewery.
Adaptation of the three-year child in kindergarten

This thesis is focused on the adaptation of the three-year child to kindergarten environment.It also describes the appropriate actions aimed for easier entrance to kindergarten. The theoretical part describes the development of the child in adaptation and socialization in the family, transition from the family into the kindergarten and possible complications, appropriate support for parents of children during adaptation.The practical part describes the adaptation of the children from the kindergarten in Hrotovice,their development and involvement into kindergarten mode, views of parents at the beggining of the entrace and changes in the adaptation after three months.
Adaptation of Employees in Skanska a.s.

This Diploma Thesis deals with the employee adaptation to a new workplace, social and cultural environment. The research was conducted in the company Skanska a. s. The Diploma Thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part explains the main terms and definitions important for understanding and performing the research in the practical part. The theoretical terms described in the first part of the Thesis are: definition of adaptation and definitions of some related terms, types and phases of the process of integration, the position of the adaptation process in the HR activities and modern trends in integration of new employees, e.g. mentoring, trainee programme or teambuilding. The practical part is dedicated to a research in the company Skanska a. s. and verification of hypothesis formulated in the Introduction of the Thesis. The practical part first analyses the current situation within each division and then describes the adaptation phases in the Headquarters of the company in Prague. The research methods used in this practical part were: interviews with the representatives of each division, HR Business Partners and new employees. The last chapters contain recommendation for the company and an example of the Adaptation Plan. The Conclusion of the thesis sums up the results of the research, evaluates the hypothesis, emphasizes the most important findings and recommendations for the leaders of the company.
Onboarding process for new employees

This master thesis deals with the topic of new employee orientation and onboarding process. The emphasis is placed on explanation of how the onboarding process and other human resource management activities affect the overall economic performance of a company and achieving its goals. Recent surveys and aspects of the current labor market are taken into account in order to highlight the increasing importance of effectively onboarding new employees. The practical part analyzes the onboarding process in a chosen international company. Based on the outcomes of the research a new proposal to optimize the existing process is introduced.
