METAPHYSICAL STORIES
Dvořák, Vojtěch ; Písařík, Petr (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
The work entitled "Metaphysical stories" relates to the personal perception and experience of the outside world and oneself, as well as to the perception of painting and picture. The concept of metaphyisics is borrowed from philosophy precisely for its thematization of human existence. The narrative presents a stream of expressions intended for sharing, communication, entertainment and learning. The bachelor thesis consists of a series of oil paintings on canvas. These are abstract paintings in which I examine the shape, color and subject matter of the painting. Imaginative scenes devoid of figures and perspectives. The aim is to open up as much space as possible to unlimited expression.
Perception of vehicle speed from the perspective of different driving experience
Budinová, Nela ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
Presented diploma thesis deals with the perception of vehicle speed from the different driving experiences point of view. The thesis is divided into two parts. First, the theoretical part is about motor vehicle construction, driving experiences, and further about the influence of gender on driving and sensory and emotional perception of humans. The second part is dedicated to practical measurement, where vehicle speeds were estimated during driving tests. During this measurement, the test circuit was passed two times in each vehicle. First run was dedicated to full concentration on a drive. In the second run, the respondents were distracted by sudoku solving. Subsequent evaluation of the obtained data is being executed from different points of view – speed category, men vs women, and roads category.

Perception of vehicle speed by driver
Formanová, Barbora ; Bradáč, Albert (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of perception of vehicle speed by the driver, without the possibility of checking the vehicle's tachometer. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of vehicles, including the design of passenger cars. Furthermore, the work is devoted to the field of human perception, which is also focused on perception from the perspective of the driver, gender, and driving experience. The practical part deals with the design, preparation and implementation of experimental measurements. Subsequently, the evaluation of the measured data is performed in terms of selected factors that could affect the subjective estimate of the driver's speed. The conclusion of this work is also devoted to proposals for possible modifications of the measurement methodology for further use.

Magurová, Lenka
Magurová L., Perception of sustainable packaging by Slovak consumers. Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The main goal of this thesis was to determine the attitude of Slovak consumers towards sustainable packaging and to verify the impact of sustainability as an aspect in the purchasing decision-making process. To fulfill the main goal, it was necessary to define the theoretical starting point of the packaging issue and sustainability in marketing management. Subsequently, quantitative research was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey among 481 respondents and subsequent qualitative research in the form of an additional semi-structured interview. The cluster analysis was used to define three segments of Slovak consumers based on the degree of influence of sustainability on their purchasing behaviour and the degree to which they perceive sustainability as a perceived benefit. Based on the obtained research results, suggestions and recommendations for the marketing strategy of manufacturers were presented.
