Influence of home preparation on school success of pupils with specific learniíng and behavioral disorders

My thesis occupies with the influence of home preparation for successfulness of pupils with specific learning disturbances and behaviour in basic school. The theoretical part there are explained terms of specific evolutional disturbances of school skills. This part deals with etiology and diagnosis. There are legislative alterations of education and it includes complete reeducational school care which points on importance of teacher's personality and on forming of positive climate in the class. It describes family and its role in connection with all risk factors which influence it. The point of preparation determines learning and behaviour by way of concrete forms and methods of work with pupils with specific disturbances. The empirical part of thesis is compiled by method of qualitative research and it's a result of research investigation which is connected to detailed analysis of acquired data. The main methods of investigation were long-lasting structured pupils' observation, analysis of file documentation and analysis of professional advice. These all together and interviews made complete picture of individual case studies.
Digital tools for pupils' home preparation for CLIL classes in maths

The purpose of this thesis is to give account of experimental teaching of a CLIL, namely in combination with blended learning at the second level of elementary school. The starting point was a reflection on how to relieve the overloaded of schedule of lessons devoted to non-linguistic subjects, in which many teachers now struggle with time to manage to teach all that is needed. To answer the question as to how pupils of an eighth grade of primary school, would respond to a new type of lessons in an unusual form, I tried to perform a teaching experiment in which the pupils went through a hard CLIL programme driven by blended learning. The available resources on this issue have been elaborated in the form of the theoretical part, which forms the first part of this work. It deals with CLIL, e- lerarning and blended learning. The second part consists of the preparation of the research and the third part is devoted to its implementation. The research consisted of three hours of full-time teaching enriched by blocks of e-learning support. Time management in secondary education

The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyse time management methods and their application in secondary education. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on different time management methods, which are available to teachers and pupils in secondary education. Special attention is paid to the representation of this topic in the Framework Educational Programs (FEPs) for basic education, Gymnasium and secondary vocational education. The practical part deals with how teachers and pupils use these methods. Teachers are also asked how they pass their knowledge of time management to their pupils. The research is realized in the form of semi- structured interviews with teachers and psychologists. The interviews showed that time management is not systematically taught in schools. The result of this diploma thesis is a description of useful methods and recommendations for their practical application in the educational process.
Communication and Cooperation of School with Parents concerning Home Preparation of Pupils

The topic of this diploma thesis is communication and cooperation of school and parents about home preparation of pupils. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. The first part deals with home preparation and homework. There are mentioned some suggestions how the homework should look like, how to set it in class and how to evaluate it. A very important section of the theoretical part is a chapter about positive and negative influences of homework. The second part is concerned with communication and cooperation of school and parents about home preparation. We map the possibilities of parent-teacher cooperation concerning home preparation of students. Moreover, we describe how to involve parents in home preparation and how to proceed. There are also recommendations for parents. In the empirical part of this thesis, we research attitudes of parents, teachers and pupils to home preparation. The main method was a questionnaire supplemented with semi-structured dialogues with some of the respondents (teachers and parents). The results of the research show that teachers have a positive attitude towards homework and that teachers think that homework is important. The attitude of parents and pupils is neutral. The majority of parents think teachers should set homework.
Home Preparation of Gifted Young Learner

The Bachelor's thesis deals home preparation of gifted young learners. The thesis is divided into two sections, a theoretical part and the empirical one. The theoretical part deals mainly with the explanation of basic terminology related to this issue, characterization, identification and diagnosis of gifted young learner and education opportunities. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on home preparation. The empirical part comprises of a qualitative research to describe home preparation of gifted young learner, its specifics and check the used school materials and supplies that students use. The empirical part of the strategy of research is a case study and research method of semi-structured interview. This thesis engages in the theme of pupil's home preparation for basic school. Finding the pupils', parents' and teachers' attitudes to homework is the purpose of this thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on relationship between the family and the school, especially parents' involvement in this problem. Hereafter we occupy with home preparation as organize form of teaching. We describe types and forms of homework. The empirical part we address the attitudes of pupils, attitudes of parents and attitudes of children to homework. The main research questions are importance, types, forms, individualization, reviews, failure of homework. Further we are interested in these attitudes on the first and second grade at the basic school. The research is qualitative-quantitative composed. We pursue to the theme from the point of parents and pupils in qualitative part, the teachers in quantitative part. For this research we used questionnaire and semi-structured interview. It is the form of mixed design.
Home preparation for school of child in the early school age

This thesis engages in the theme of early school-age pupil's home preparation for school particularly in collaboration between school, parents and child in the process of home preparation. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the relationship between adults and children in history. Hereafter we occupy with the child's socialization and evolutional aspects in preschool and younger school-age. We engage in the child's school entrance, school education and younger school-age children's home preparation from the view of the collaboration between the school, the family and the child in next chapters. The empirical part we address the attitudes of children and their parents to home preparation and the parent involvement in the home preparation in the first and second class. We are the most interested in the difference or the agreement in the given issue by the pupils of the first and second classes. The research is qualitative-quantitative composed. We devote to the theme from the point of the children in the qualitative part of the research and from the point of the children and their parents in the quantitative part. Bachelor thesis is dealing with subject of parents helping children with school preparation. The whole thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is concerned in general with homework submission, manners of its elaboration, international and historical context. Furthermore the theoretical part describes methods of research samples selection, methods of collection, analysis and data evaluation. The practical part is dedicated to research on five families with whom were conducted in-depth semi structured interviews. The execution form of the practical part is the multiple casuistic.

This thesis provides an overview of how students identified as having learning disabilities prepare for school at home. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on the general terms, which are related to the general learning disabilities, their aetiology and manifestations of each single specific learning disability. Furthermore, it deals with counselling support to parents and their children with learning disabilities, the diagnostics and the re-education of specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part also contains the concept how to work with these students at home and the importance of parent participation. This part is also focused on the psycho hygienic possibilities and methodology of home-preparation of the children with learning difficulties. The main objective of the practical part was to find out how children with learning disabilities prepare for school at home. The quantitative method of investigation was used in this research.
