Influence of home preparation on school success of pupils with specific learniíng and behavioral disorders

My thesis occupies with the influence of home preparation for successfulness of pupils with specific learning disturbances and behaviour in basic school. The theoretical part there are explained terms of specific evolutional disturbances of school skills. This part deals with etiology and diagnosis. There are legislative alterations of education and it includes complete reeducational school care which points on importance of teacher's personality and on forming of positive climate in the class. It describes family and its role in connection with all risk factors which influence it. The point of preparation determines learning and behaviour by way of concrete forms and methods of work with pupils with specific disturbances. The empirical part of thesis is compiled by method of qualitative research and it's a result of research investigation which is connected to detailed analysis of acquired data. The main methods of investigation were long-lasting structured pupils' observation, analysis of file documentation and analysis of professional advice. These all together and interviews made complete picture of individual case studies.
Attitudes to pupil with learning disabilities and behavioral disorder at lower secondary school from the perspective of school teacher assistant

The main subject of the thesis is based on characteristics of the attitudes to a pupil with specific learning disabilities and behavioral disorder in the frame of an upper stage of an ordinary elementary school (based on the standards of the Czech republic). The theoretical part initially describes the school system of Czech republic and the legislative framework of the primary education of pupils with special educational needs. Subsequently, a group of pupils with specific learning disabilities and behavioral disorder is defined from a main group of pupils with special educational needs. Thereafter, the provided support to those pupils is characterized alongside with a brief job description of a school teacher assistant. Considering the frequent connection of special learning disabilities to other difficulties, the symptom ADD/ADHD is explained as next. The pupil's personality is specified in the last section. Thesis themed is about Successful Integration of Pupils with Special Educational Needs. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the first chapter of theoretic part are mentioned and explained notions as integration, inclusion, handicap and special educational needs. The second chapter of theoretic parts is devoted to subsidiary cautions in education, possibility of schools and other educational establishments at work with pupils with special educational needs. Final two chapters are describing development of Czech education and school systems selective European countries. There is an effort embrace patterns, where inclusion is long term in action and conversely mention examples of countries, where the integration is only at the beginning. Behavioral and emotional disorders in the context of school and social consequences for the first grade of elementary school pupil. Abstract: This dissertation dealt with the issue of behavioral disorders with children in younger school age. Its main goal was to ascertine the extent of the behavioral disorders of pupils in the first grade of primary school from the teachers perspective and to find out which symptoms of behavioural disorders are the most frequently manifested by pupils in several elementary schools in Prague. Then to analyze the impact of these symptoms or rather behavior disorder on school results, peer relations and relational attitudes of teachers to pupils with behavioral disorders. The final aim was to find out and assess the cooperation between school and the family. Also interest and willingness of the family to collaborate on potentional correction or educational measures proposed by school. Behavioral disorders as a secondary symptom of pupils with ADHD in the 2nd stage of primary school. Abstract: The rigorous thesis focuses on the issues surrounding behavioral disorders including their etiology, prognosis and prevalence and is based on the current situation in the Czech Republic. The main aim of this study was to determine an association between learned or socially conditioned disorders (environmental factors) and disorders we call specific disorders, which are based on biological causes (hyperkinetic disorder - ADD/ADHD). The author worked from the opinion, or "pedagogical ground", that teaching children with hyperkinetic syndrome is more demanding. Therefore the rigorous study deals with hyperkinetic syndrome (ADD/ADHD) in detail, especially in relation to associated secondary symptoms. The most significant disruptive symptoms perceived in the school environment are impulsiveness and aggressiveness, which are addressed in the theoretical part. Connection between social skills teaching and classmates relationshipsde

Summary: This dissertation is aiming to find the connection between clasroom relationships development and regular social skills teaching. Specifically if social skills teaching creates positive development within students relationships and if it influences better classroom climate. The teoretical part defines the concept of pedagogical diagnostics, its methods and forms, especially focused on educational - research sociomethry, sociomethric methods and techniques. In the end of theoretical part is described educational program CESTY with subject ‚Social skills focused on the developement of positive relationships between students with ADHD, ADD issues. The empiric part is built on research which was made using sociomethric - rating questionnare of Vladimír Hrabal (S-O-R-A-D). This questionnare was used in three fifth year of elementary school classes for children with specific issues and in three regular elementary school classes. Rating of the results using sociomethric indexes and sociograms is the base for comparing the development of relationships in classes with ADHD students, where the social skills are taught regularly, and three regular classes without this subject. The questionnary was set twice in every class, first time at the beginning of school year and second time at the end of first mid-year.

The thesis titled Possibilities and limits of work with motivation of pupils with ADHD and ADD syndrome at first degree of primary school specializes in finding effective motivation of these pupils. In the theoretical part of the thesis will be defined notions of motivation, ADHD and ADD, teaching methods, organizational forms, evaluating the relationship between teacher and pupil. It will also be a sub-analysis of individual concepts and relationships between them. Processed theoretical background will be taken into account in the practical part. The practical part will pick out the most effective way of motivating pupils with ADD and ADHD syndrome integrated in the regular classroom at primary school. The research methods will be used direct and participant observation, case study, analysis of pupils' projects. This thesis focuses on Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and it's influence on pupil's behaviour and their learning results at school. This work offers appropriate teaching methods that help resolve the difficulties connected with teaching and learning. It offers useful activities and games to improve pupil's attention abilities. Thesis "A professional care of children with school delay" is focused on the analysis of intervention for children with the recommended postponement of school attendance. in pre-school and preparatory classes in primary schools. The thesis also includes a scheme of a Special Education reeducational aids, which can be used for possible developmental disorders which limit children entrance into the compulsory school attendance in the prescribed age.
