School management from the perspective of parents

The bachelor thesis "Primary school management from the perspective of parents" deals with current parents' attitude and their criteria for assessment of primary school management and its functioning. This bachelor thesis predominantly focuses from the parents' point of view on assessment in the field of school functions, pedagogical process, communication and cooperation between the parent and the school. The theoretical part of the thesis brings a description of the history of primary education, the current primary school, its function and pedagogical process, the forms of current family and types of families and parents. Next there are briefly defined rights and obligations of the parents toward the primary school, communication between the parent and the school and mutual cooperation. The theoretical background is based on expert publications, articles and significant studies. The practical part focuses on quantitative research in particular with the use of questionnaire survey applied on parents of children from primary schools established by the town of Most. The results are interpreted with the use of graphs and tables with average scores. The Support of the Quality of the Management of Schools and Educational Facilities with the Municipalities in the Founding Roles

This thesis deals with the topic of school authorities support of schools and educational facilities quality management. The thesis describes roles and responsibilities of headmasters and school authorities, and their mutual relationship. It summarizes the findings concerning school management, education quality, and highlights the importance of education, including the support headmasters receive from the municipality. Questionnaires, structured interviews, document analysis and observation were used to describe the state of the support by school authorities and the satisfaction of the headmasters with the support provided. The dependence of the support scope on the type of municipality, the type and size of the school or education facility, the term of office, and gender was also tracked. Despite the fact that certain tendencies and partial matches were perceived, it was stated that providing and receiving support is considerably individual. The thesis can be used as a basis for further research with the aim of designing better support mechanisms in order to improve the quality of work of headmasters and school authorities. It could help them realize their possibilities and needs, as well as better understanding their own roles.
Influence of founder on school quality

The diploma thesis deals with a specific area in school management, namely the influence of the founder on the quality of the school. The basic content of this work is the relationship between the founder and the school and the influence of the founder on the quality of the school according to the criteria of a quality school of the Czech School Inspectorate. The work, based on the sources of work, defines the basic and related concepts with the management of the school, describes the differences in the management of the school with regard to its founder. Specifically, it monitors a public school, where the founder is a municipality, and a church school, where the founder is a church legal entity of a registered church, as the schools of these founders are the subject of research. The thesis describes the criteria of a quality school of the Czech School Inspectorate and also presents documents that regulate the relationship between the founder and the school principal and set requirements for the quality of the school abroad, specifically in the Slovak Republic. The dissertation deals with the reflection of the change in the pedagogical process management at the turn of the 1980s and the 1990s. The aim of the thesis was to find out the influence of changes in social, political and economic conditions at the turn of the 80s and 90s on the concept of pedagogical process management. We wanted to clarify the management style in the historical context. We also wanted to identify the causes of these changes - whether it is conceptual and strategic documents of the education sector, or it is still changing legislation or other factors. In the theoretical part, we reflected changes in the pedagogical process management from 1989 until today. We described the development of the phenomenon of primary school management with an emphasis on the pedagogical process. Our assumptions were based on theoretical approaches of pedagogy and general management. The aim of the research part is to clarify the relations, to create and to describe the scheme of the pedagogical process management due to changing conditions after 1989. The influence of the founders of public primary schools in small municipalities on the educational direction of the school Author: Bc. et Bc. Vojtěch Bílý ABSTRACT The thesis deals with the possible influence of founders of public primary school on the educational direction of the school. Although the law does not allow the direct influence of the founders on the management of the pedagogical process, there are a number of instruments by which the founders indirectly seek to apply their influence. In this work we first define the field of research, the state of the current knowledge of the subject and the basic concepts, and then we analyze the ways in which the founders use the influence, what pressure the school heads perceive and to what extent they are subject to it. In the practical part, we focus on primary schools in the Olomouc region in municipalities up to 5000 inhabitants where there is a prerequisite for the existence of only one school and there is usually a closer link between the school head and the mayor of the municipality.
