SCARA control system
Bittner, Jakub ; Burian, František (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis shows the process of restoring a SCARA type robot, which has had its controller destroyed. The signal cables as well as the power ones were rewired so that it would be able to create new control system for robot arm. New control system is created using devices from Beckhoff company. For that identification of motors is required. After that PC control is programmend to control every single axis of manipulator, with this program vizualizations of controll elements are created. In the end linear interpolation of movement between points is implemented.
Two channel stepper motor controller
Elektronika byla navržena v software KiCAD and využívá čtyřvrstvého plošného spoje a moderních výrobních technologií.
Case study of walk and run kinematics involution
Raková, Gabriela ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Case study of walk and run kinematics involution Objectives: Identify differences in the execution of walk and run, their time and space parameters, by two couples in close family relationship (father and son; father and daughter), who participate in the performance sport of running. Methods: Two family couples (3 men and one woman) participated to laboratory and field tests. Each subject participated in two kind of walk (walk on treadmill at the speed of 5km/h and walk on the athletic track - at natural walking speed) and according the abilities to 15 speeds of running locomotion (13 speeds on treadmill and 2 speeds on the athletic track). Kinematics of all speeds was analysed with the software Kinovea 0.8.15. The thesis is a pilot study, that is trying to ascertain the extend of difference of the execution of locomotion of subjects in the male parental line (father and son; father and daughter). Results: Noticeable difference in the characteristics of all measured speeds of locomotion are seen by the older two members of relatives (74,8 and 40,2 years), the faster was the evaluated speed, the larger was the difference in stride length (6 to 25 cm) and in stride frequency in walking as well as in running (23 to 38 steps per minute). For the second tested two members of a family (53,7 and...
Automation of lathe machine for machining and crowning rubber rollers
Kratochvíl, Adam ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to document the entire process of modernization of the machine. During this process, it focuses on choosing a particular drive and control system. Among other thing, the possibilities of theoretical design of individual components of the machine are presented on the basis of the way in which the synchronized movement of the axes will be realized up to the realization itself.
Synchronization and Drive Control by Means of the Controller Area Network
Dobrovský, Ladislav ; Kaštovský, Petr (referee) ; Eysselt, Miloš (advisor)
System for motion control via CAN-Bus with USB-CAN converter. Software is divided to two parts. The first part is a server application that enables client applications to use CAN-Bus as a service available on sockets, because the IMF software company "USB-CAN hardware converter" can't be accessed directly by more applications. Client applications control different devices connected to CAN-Bus. Motion control using actuator Berger Lahr IclA D065 in application of 3 axes omni-wheel robot has been impemented. Interroll omni-wheels are used. This application has a graphical user interface done with the GTK+ library. The second, practical part, of the work has been developed in Dept. of Applied Computer Science, FME, Brno University of Technology, under supervision of Ing. Radomil Matousek, Ph.D.
Probabilistic Localization of Mobile Robot
Kopečný, Tomáš ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Motion control, navigation and sense of orientation of a mobile robot are tied to development of every mobile robot. This work concerns mainly about robot localization in the sense of orientation in space. Nevertheless, nor other aspects of mobile robotics are being omitted. Therefore, the goal of this work is to get familiar with Monte Carlo localization algorithm and apply this algorithm on a real robot.
Control of special purpose machine tool
Plocek, Jaroslav ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis treats the design of control system of special purpose machine tool. The first part analyzes and compares two possible variants of control system which use either a CNC control system Sinumerik or motion control system Simotion. Only the variant with the Simotion control system is subsequently examined in detail: its hardware configuration, the selection of components and partly also the software solution. The thesis further deals with the safety of the realized control system and of the whole machine. There are described general safety requirements of machinery based on harmonized European standards and their specific application in the design of safety functions and the safety circuits of solved machine tool.
Design and implementation of a CANopen communication unit
Řehák, Tomáš ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design and implementation of an industrial communicator for synchronization and control of electrical drive controllers with the interface of RS232 or CANopen. Hardware of communicator uses the EMX development system by GHI Electronics. Communicator software is implemented in C# by the .NET Micro Framework. Communicator allows user to adjust and control up to four electric motor drives. After a successful connection with each unit, communicator can control its position, which specify the number of revolutions to the nearest thousandth of a turn. Communicator also periodically finds out and displays the current position of the connected units. User operates the communicator with GUI, application instructions are entered via the touch screen or buttons.
