Fertility development in district Most in 1990-2008 period

The objective of this study is to analyse the development of fertility in the district of Most in the period from 1990 to 2008 and compare it with the development of the Usti region and national level. On the basis the indicators of fertility the objective is to find social context this demographic development. There were calculated indicators of fertility in demographic part and next it was compared between Czech republic, Ústí region and district of Most. The result of study is the development in the region and in the district is different (total fertility rate, age specific rates, average age of mother at birth and extramarital fertility). The second part examined the influence of socioeconomic aspects of different development in the district compared to Czech republic. Conclusion is the different development of fertility in the district relate with selected socio-economic aspects.

School media - press, radio, television, internet : on example of regions of Olomouc and Ústí nad Labem

Diploma thesis "School media - press, radio, television, internet: on example of regions of Olomouc and Ústí nad Labem" deals with school media production of pupils and students of primary and secondary education focusing on the Czech environment. The whole issue is framed within media literacy, media education. Moreover, the interpretation accents with its direction of production. The most important chapters of historical-theoretical part introduce the outline of the school media development from the beginning till nowadays. Practical part characterizes school media in the regions of Olomouc and Ústí nad Labem. The research survey is mainly focused on the occurrence of school media production, forms of their outputs and characteristics of individual types of school media. What is more, the survey is also interested in current trends in publishing of school and class magazines and their theme and genre profile. Survey summarizes reasons, which impedes realization of school media production. Finally, on account of compile findings and data, it deduces a school media typology, criteria of their possible categorisation and includes them into the media system. Creative Industries in the Old Industrial Region

Creative industries are considered as a new oportunity and a tool of economical and social growth in developed countries, because they represent a "new" source of wealth and prosperity. Creative economy is not based any more on traditional manufacturing industry and that is why are these now in the interest forefront of experts and executives. In the frame of the city and region development are creative industries seen as a new competitive advantage and they play role in innovative process and competitiveness of firms, towns or regions. Research section of my thesis is focused on old industrial regions, exactely on comparative analysis of Ústecký and Moravian-Silesian region. Emphasis is put on a spatial organization of creative industries and on their further characteristics, reviewed by different indicators. Concerning the town Ústí nad Labem, my thesis is focused on advertising industry, which has been considered as a new dynamic industry since 1989.

OPINIONS OF PUPILS FROM SOCIALLY RISK ENVIRONMENT REGARDING DRUG ADDICTION

Children and young people rank among the most endangered social groups. Not only do they go through an important stage of personality formation which could be influenced by many factors, but this phase of personal development influences, to a certain extent, their future lives and the possibility of a fully-fledged social integration. At this stage, children and young people develop stronger perceptual sensitivity of either positive or negative outer factors. These factors can have a stronger impact on children and young people living in an environment which the majority society perceives not as standard, but as a socially excluded, and hence unwanted, locality. The group of children and young people, especially the ones from socially excluded localities, are very often affected by the use of addictive substances. There is a big risk, that members of the group will become regular users of addicted substances which generate further negative effects. Themes for Nature Excursions for Pupils of Grammar Schools in Ústí Region

The objective of this diploma thesis was to create suggestions of biological excursions for the pupils of the second grade of elementary schools in Ústí nad Labem region. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, excursion as the organisational form of education with the focus on the specifics of biological excursion including the educational goals and methods, is shortly introduced. In the following part, there is the characteristic of scientific disciplines and particular types of biological excursions. The practical part presents suggestions for three biological excursions. Each of the suggested subjects contains detailed manual for preparation and the process of excursion itself including the final part. Materials including the description of the route, information about the locality, worksheets including answers and additional information to each of the questions are also incorporated. School media-press,radio,internet:on an example of the "Olomouc" region

School media create specific territory of media landscape. However in certain circumstances, they can be considered as organisational media, which forms a part of civil media sector, or as alternative media. School media create from school peculiar type of public sphere too. School media production has quite long tradition in the Czech environment. First school media have a form of school or class magazines, which have appeared in the mid of 19th century. At the beginning, they were made from initiative of pupils and students. Their closeness to school has been changed and influenced by school experience and political situation through time. As a result, publishing of school magazines has been supported, tolerated, afflicted, and subordinated to supervision. Production media output as a part of incipient form of media education has not appeared until 80s of 20th century. The spectra of school media has extended after the November 1989. Firstly, the organisation of independent school radio and television broadcasts has started, besides school and class magazines and occasional student's broadcasts in school radio. Possibilities of employing the profession of addictologist in pedagogical-psychological counselling centres: pilot study of the Ústí region

Background: The region of Ústí nad Labem has long been at the forefront of the prevalence of substance abuse; it is likewise specific for the occurrence of other negative social phenomena. The studies carried out in the region of Ústí nad Labem point to the fact that addictology issues are a current problem that deserves special attention as the target group of pedagogical-psychological counselling is children who consider themselves vulnerable to risky behaviour. The pedagogical- psychological counseling center is the main partner of schools and school facilities and the role of the prevention methodologist lies not only in the coordination of school prevention methodologists, but also in mapping the occurrence of risky behavior for the creation of remedial programs and risky behavior prevention programs. There is just one addictology clinic in the whole region, focusing on the target group of children and adolescents. The motive for the topic of the work was also the fact that the studies focused on the applicability of an addictologist in education have not yet been carried out in the Czech Republic. Regionální diferenciace podpory cestovního ruchu na venkově prostřednictvím PRV: srovnání Plzeňského, Karlovarského, Ústeckého a Libereckého kraje

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the support of rural tourism from the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 in four chosen regions - Plzeň Region, Karlovy Vary, Ústí nad Labem and Liberec Region. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the literature research concerning the issue of rural tourism, rural areas and discusses the importance of this specific form of tourism for rural development and its application, especially with regard to the analyzed territory and its natural and cultural-historical potential for the development of various forms of tourism. The next part of the thesis deals with the financial support of tourism through the European funds, with an emphasis on the Rural Development Program and its conditions, followed by the detailed analysis of the projects supported by Rural Development Programme 2007-2013, measure III. 1.3. The main objective of this part is to evaluate the projects in relation to rural tourism and to find answers to the questions whether the support was concentrated in tourist attractive areas or how the projects utilize the natural-cultural attractions of the given area. It also includes a more detailed assessment of the support of agritourism, eco-agritourism and hipotourism as specific forms of rural tourism.

Aktivní politika zaměstnanosti ve vybraných krajích

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of active labour market policies in Moravian-Silesian Region and Usti Region. Its objective is to evaluate the efficiency of the active labour market policy’s measures with the use of statistical data from The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and The Labour office. The thesis focuses on the composition of measures, allocation of financial resources, targeting on disadvantaged groups in the labour market and overall results of active labour market policies in these regions. The bachelor thesis provides recommendations for future decisions on this issue.
