TITLE: Personality educators and the possibility of development AUTHOR: Štěpán Bartoška DEPARTMENT: Institute for Professional Development, Faculty of Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Richard Braun, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to find answers to questions such as why the educator focus on the development of his personality, what personality development is this and what this development can help. Based on the objectives and theoretical points we can conclude that the educator should focus on the development of his personality from a number of mutually influencing reasons. Ideal personality development educator can be seen in a comprehensive and uniform development of the sub-components of his personality and finding harmony between the layers of personality. Thanks to this development the educator becomes more harmonious and holistic personality is subjectively happier and happier, which positively influences including its Inter-relationships, also set qualitative shift in his performance tutoring profession. Educator allows the natural positive impact on their surroundings and charges, which leads to the progressive development of the whole society. Basic principles of Rousseau's phylosophy and education attitude will be worked out in more detail within chapters of this thesys. After defining basic education principles by Jean-Jacques Rousseau I will in last chapter focus on comparison with education attitude of M. Montessori. Educator in the Czech Movie

The thesis is of an analytical - interpretive nature. Its prevaling analytical part focuses on an analysis of 14 films that represent the Czech cinematography produced in the period of 1937- 2010, and feature the character of an educator The films have been divided according to the date of their production into three main groups - the films made before the year 1945, those produced between 1945 and 1989, and the films made from 1989, i.e.after the Velvet Revolution, onwards. The interpretative part deals with the portrayal of a teacher in the Czech film production, and focuses, in particular, on apparent identical features in depicting the character of an educator, as well as on the attributes assigned to the profession of a teacher, interaction between a teacher and his/her pupils, and interaction with between a teacher and his/her broader social environment. Cultivation of humanity as a task of education

The thesis of a theoretical character deals with the cultivation of humanity as a task of education. The work summarizes the areas affecting the topic of humanity and education. Firstly, the work describes the meaning of humanity which is present in one of modern philosophical disciplines called philosophy of education. It also introduces the educational process forming an integrated system of precise rules. Within the process, factors forming the process are described. These are: educator who is a guide in the educational process; the educated person who is not only the object but also the subject of the process; environment which plays a significant role in education and involves a variety of participants. The last part of the thesis deals with education as a process of humanization and describes various aspects affecting the process of humanization.

Theoretical and empirical thesis "Teacher and his role in the process of pupil's self- conception forming" aims to explore the theme of self-conception from the perspective of those involved in the educational process. Primarily in terms of personal and social development, whose major component is the development of self-conception of pupil. The thesis explores the possibilities and limits of teaching experience and tries to find some starting points and recommendations that can help teachers better manage claims that contemporary society places on education of children. It also seeks to give teachers a tool that would simply and effectively determine the level of their work on self-development of their pupils.

Analysis of the development level of funding the direct costs of basic education in regions

Final thesis analyzes the level of direct funding of non-capital expenditure on basic education in regions of the CR. The funds to finance direct investment expenditure for basic education, which is an integral part of the regional education are allocated from the state budget to the budget of each school system through normatively republican and regional norms per unit of output. The theoretical part describes the legal framework for financing of regional education and deals with the detailed budget breakdown of the system to direct non-investment expenditure of the basic education level of the state budget - Chapter 333 Ministry of Education through the various regions in the primary school. The research section contains an analysis of regional norms and levels of direct financing of investment expenditure in a sample of three elementary schools in each region.
