Experience of Gay families with preschool institutions

This bachelor's thesis explores the topic of gay families' experiences with female kindergarten teachers. The aim of this thesis was to explore and evaluate the perspectives of families where both parents are male on working with female kindergarten teachers and to describe the relationships and communication between gay families and the kindergarten teacher. Another aim of this study was to determine if there are any communication and relationship barriers in relation to the given specificity of the research families. The theoretical part of the thesis is an introduction to the issue of homoparental families, the relationship between the family and the kindergarten teacher, based on current research in the field of gay families and society. The empirical part of the thesis is conducted through qualitative research, the method of which was a semi-structured interview. The interviews were conducted with one parent from the paternal couple each time, and in addition, interviews were conducted with kindergarten teachers who have professional experience with a child growing up in a gay family. Burnout syndrome in preschool teachers

The aim of the bachelor's thesis titled Burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education is to find out what is the incidence rate of burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education. Another goal is to find out what forms of burnout prevention the teachers use. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. The main purpose of the theoretical part is to acquaint the reader with the issue of stress and burnout in connection with the profession of a teacher in preschool education. The theoretical part is divided into six main chapters that directly relate to the chosen topic. In the practical part of the work, knowledge from the theoretical part is verified by a quantitative method, in the form of a questionnaire survey, and at the same time by a qualitative method, in the form of personal interviews. A total of 234 respondents, teachers from kindergartens throughout the Czech Republic took part in the research. As a part of the survey, a standardized MBI questionnaire and a self-constructed questionnaire were used. The MBI Questionnaire examines burnout in three dimensions-emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal satisfaction. Prognosis of Schools Attendance in the Town Šternberk Using Time Series

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of both demographic data and the analysis of the nursery and primary schools in the town of Šternberk. The main purpose of the text is determination of prognosis of children in these school facilities depending on the number of births. This prognosis is compared to the current situation in kindergartens and schools. Statistical methods of time series are used to achieve these objectives.

Literary text as a tool of environmental education in Leisure Education

The thesis deals with literary text as a tool for environmental education in leasure education. The theoretical part describes an approach to environmental education in Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education. The theoretical part is also focused on the function of environmental education in development of personality of preschool children, defines forest kindergartens and their pedagogical approach. The theoretical part also deals with literary text as a tool to develop abilities through environmental education and offers a list and descriptions of selected educational methods useful when working with literary text in kindergartens. The content of practical part concentrates on creation of set of worskheeets and methodical sheets and their verification in a forest kindergarten.

The use of yoga in kindergarten

Bachelor thesis "Use of yoga in preschool" deals with influence of yoga engagement in preschool education on the mental development of children of age from four to seven years. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out whether kindergarten teachers involve yoga in teaching. Another goal was to find out what effect yoga exercises have on preschool children. The theoretical part focuses on knowledge from the development of preschool children, but also on knowledge from the history and origin of yoga. In this part there is also an interview with a pediatrician or physiotherapist. In the practical part there are ideas for activities with preschool children. Furthermore, the practical part informs about the needs of teachers who would like to include yoga in the education of preschool children. It was found that kindergarten teachers would welcome materials to teach yoga in preschool.

Satisfying of children's needs in preschool facilities

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of satisfying needs of preschool age children in preschool facilities. The theoretical part of this work provides an insight into the curricular reform in the Czech Republic and a view of perception of children needs by the society. Furthermore there is has been research into the contemporary trend of coordinating a family life with an employment. This was one of the reasons for founding of business kindergartners. A summarization of current legal conditions of establishing of business kindergartners is included as well. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes a relation of curricula documents and satisfying children needs in the kindergarten. Important sections of this work are summaries of various models of needs and list of means of satisfying the needs in the kindergarten. The aim of the practical part of this thesis is to do a qualitative survey in differences between business and state kindergartens in satisfying needs of children. The result of the survey show that are differences in surroundings created in order to satisfy children needs while approaches for the satisfying of children needs were similar.

Family policy of the Great Coalition in Germany (2005 - 2009)

The Federal Republic of Germany is among the countries with the lowest birthrates in Europe; Germany's total fertility rate has fluctuated between 1.3 and 1.4 children per woman since the 1970s. Presented thesis "Family policy of the grand coalition in the FRG 2005- 2009" deals with measures taken by the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, headed by Ursula von der Leyen, and their impact on the birthrate and other indicators such as the employment rate among mothers and the risk of poverty. In this period of time, the concept of family policy was changed towards the Scandinavian model, which supports Work-Life-Balance. The effects of the introduction of year-long income- dependent parental benefits, which are extended by two months when the parents alternate in care, are analyzed in this thesis. The second researched measure is the massive support of the expansion of child care opportunities for children under three years of age. The thesis shows that the total fertility rate has not shown any significant change; nevertheless, the decrease in specific fertility rate among highly educated women was halted and the employment rate among mothers increased. The effects will only be able to be complexly assessed after a longer period of time.
