Social media as a marketing communication tool in fitness centres

Title: Social media as a marketing communication tool in fitness centres Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose a specific social media marketing plan for 2025 for a selected fitness centre, based on the data collected from the interview and analysis of the existing social media management. Application. The created marketing plan will be used in the selected fitness centre for the year 2025, at the same time this work can serve as an inspiration for other entities that want to improve their operations or build their own social media plan. Methods: In this thesis, qualitative and quantitative data research method is used. In the first stage, a qualitative method is used in the form of a semi-structured interview with the fitness center management. This is followed by a quantitative method through social network analysis of the centre. Results: The results obtained from both researches show that the selected fitness centre has considerable scope for improving its social media communication. Therefore, a comprehensive social media marketing plan for the fitness center was designed for the year 2025, which includes general recommendations, phasing, and a specific posting plan for the selected month. Title: Customer satisfaction in a selected fitness centre Objectives: The central aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose recommendations that will lead to an increase in the quality of services provided through the analysis of customer satisfaction in a selected fitness centre. The main aim is to achieve a higher level of customer satisfaction and to strengthen the overall position of the fitness centre in the market. Methods: In the bachelor thesis, the SERVQUAL questionnaire method is used to compare the actual level of provided services with customer expectations. Subsequently, the obtained results are then presented graphically for better clarity and readability. Results: The results of the study indicate the overall satisfaction of customers in the selected fitness centre with the services provided. However, it appeared that some areas of service did not meet customer expectations. However, it has been revealed that certain areas of the services did not meet customer expectations. This difference between expectation and reality provides valuable insights for identifying areas where services can be improved, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction. In this thesis, the author deals with the analysis of customer satisfaction in a selected fitness centre and suggestions to increase its level. The thesis consists of 3 main parts. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical knowledge of the issue. The second part deals with the analysis of the current state of the given enterprise. This chapter also includes the results of the marketing research conducted, the main objective of which was to determine the current level of customer satisfaction. The analytical part is followed by the third part, in which the actual proposals for increasing this level are given.

Documentation of project in degree for realization of two floor detached house with fitness centre situated in locality Račice-Pístovice near Vyškov. Building is designed with regular elongated rectangular ground plan of the second floor, in the first floor is larger by fitness centre with the ground floor in the L-shape. Building envelope will be made of exact blocks Ytong with external insulation certified system and with wooden frames of windows with insulating glazing. House is gabled. The idea was to design building envelope energetically efficient with classification class of penetration of heat as B - efficient.

The diploma thesis deals with the problems of sanitation installation in a multifunctional building in Kunstat. The theoretical part focuses on the analysis of the topic, with emphasis on the water demand. The experimental part focuses on drinking water consumption in real objects. The thesis also focuses on possible solutions given specialization. The project solves the sanitation installation of the multifunctional building in the selected variant. It is a multi-storey building where are a guesthouse for short-term accommodation, café, public toilets, commercial space and a fitness center.

Water park Brno

The topic of the diploma thesis is the solution of the Lužánky sport complex in Brno. The aim of the diploma project is to create a new modern sport recreation area which will be situated next to the existing swimming pool. The main object is an aquapark with indoor and outdoor pools. In area of the aquapark are other premises like wellness, fitness cen-ter, café and other small businesses. Proposed object should be connected to the exis-ting pool with a 50-meter track. Visitors could go from one place to the other without exiting the complex. Also included is the increase of indoor and outdoor parking. Around the complex a footbridge had been designed to connect all the sports facilities. The foot-bridge is intended for pedestrians and cyclists and is designed to avoid blocking car traffic. Main entrance to the aquapark is on the same level as the footbridge, on the 2nd floor. Visitors can go to the footbridge by pedestrian ramp, stairs or lifts. This complex will meet the requirements and current expectations of the visitors in the area. It will also increase the attractiveness of the entire territory.

Brno-Zábrdovice Spa, the Reconstruction, and the Completion

The bachelor’s thesis solves the reconstruction and extension of the functionalist building of “Winter Spa” Brno-Zábrdovice, Brno, Czech Republic. The main goal of this work was to propose a new functional use of the current building with respect to the original function and to add an annexe to increase an attractiveness of the building and the services offered. Bachelor’s thesis only includes reconstruction of the “Winter Spa”, while the expansion of the new building of indoor pools has been projected. The reconstruction of spa and pool will form a large sports centre. The customers will have an access to the services of wellness center, fitness center, gym, dance halls for sports and the other fitness disciplines, restaurants, cosmetic studio where the expanded services in the field of non-invasive liposuction will be provided and also they will be able to pick up internet packages. An annexe with stairs and elevator has been designed to facilitate the interconnection of all floors of sports and wellness center. The building of „Winter Spa“ and newly built indoor pool will be linked together by a central entrance hall with cash registers and reception. The entrance hall is also an entry into the summer area.

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the selection and implementation of information systems to the fitness center. Part of the thesis is to assess the current state of the company and make suggestions for improvements. At the end I deal with specific information system, which I chosen, and it´s implementation. Everything is supported by theoretical approaches, which are in the first part of thesis.

Residential apartment building

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of new residential building in Brno on the street Táborská in the city of Brno Židenice. The design comes out from filling the gap on the Táborská street and Letní street, urban regulatives and needs of people living in the local district. I designed the building so that the building is incorporated into both the street and the elevation line on surrounding buildings of apartment buildings. My effort went towards using the structural gap to its full potential. The facade of the building is designed lining titanium zinc strips of width 500 mm, which enhance the feeling of a compact mass. The facility is in addition to living is in 1st. LVL designed fitness center, which is in this area missing. The other level floor consist of flats for housing. Flats in the building are design as one-storey units and maisonnette apartment on the top floors. maisonnette. Arrangement and dispositions to all apartments is such as each flat is bright and sunlit adequately.

The goal of this master thesis is to create a business plan for an establishment of a fitness centre located in Brno-Černovice. The business plan includes analysis of feasibility of establishing the fitness centre as well as a calculation of a break-even point, result of which is the finding of the payback period, considering probable sales and costs. The thesis contains variable solutions of the business plan.
