Possibilities of special educational support of olfactory perception in people with visual impairment based on olfactory examination
Šumníková, Pavlína ; Květoňová, Lea (advisor) ; Vítková, Marie (referee) ; Strnadová, Iva (referee)
Olfactory sense is considered as one of the compensatory senses in the speciál educational practice. The advanced thesis is focused on examination of olfactory sense in people with visual impairment. In order to fulfil the aim of the thesis, the standardized tests of olfactory perception UPS1T and STT were utilized. Furthermore the tested people were asked their subjective perception in using the olfactory sense in everyday life. 154 probands, 77 individuals with visual impairment (45 men and 32 women) and 77 individuals from a control group participated in the research. The condition for people with visual impairment to join the research was determined if the incidence of visual impairment was for longer than five years and the level of visual impairment (according to WHO, 1992) within the category of low vision, blindness and unqualified visual loss. People from the control group were chosen to match the participants with visual impairment in age and sex. One of the applied methods was the critical analyses of professional literature in order to understand the structure of olfactory analysers, the process of transformation in olfactory information, the level of olfactory perception during the development and maturation of individual, and the function of olfactory sense in people with visual impairment...
Art therapy in the context of special pedagogic education
Šicková, Jaroslava ; Květoňová, Lea (advisor) ; Slavík, Jan (referee) ; Vítková, Marie (referee)
The goul and purpose of the disertation is to find the overlaping aeras of special pedagogy and art therapy in the new paradigm of education, including special education - in inclusion. In diseration work there are introduced the main theoretical approaches of current art therapy, focusing on the spiritualy- ecological approach, which correstondents in it's holistic and integrating approach to the modern main spreams of special education. The theoretical background is ilustrated by case studies and interpretation and evaluating methods developed by the author of this work. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Brno Through the Eyes of Children - The Creative Project What the Brno Dragon Sees
Vítková, Martina ; Cikánová, Karla (advisor) ; Bláha, Jaroslav (referee)
The subject of thesis is city Brno in stories, with specialization in architectonikal, natural and memorial fortune. It's considered for childrens from 9th to 12th years of age. It should be used as a basic for teacher's and paerent's work. Teaching is concepted into: outdoor walking, working exercises and following fine arts. Parts of these thesis are also texts relating to the selected localities (for exemple stories or historical facts), also fallowing working sheets and creation rows with photo documentation, which together creates fine arts and initiate children's kreativity and also their conscious view to the city of Brno. Key words: Brno, fine arts project, stories, dragon, Svratka, Svitava, Eliška Rejčka, Stará Radnice, Petrov, church st. Jakub, Špilberk, church Nanebevzetí Panny Marie, castle Veveří, Vila Tugendhat
The use of inovative sorbents for immobilization of Zn in soil
Řečínská, Magdalena ; Vítková, Martina (advisor) ; Zdeňka, Zdeňka (referee)
Amorphous manganese oxide has been already successfully tested as an efficient amendment for limiting the mobile fraction of risk elements in soil. However, its application is accompanied with an unsolicited phenomenon of increased dissolution of this agent related to oxidation of soil organic matter. For that reason, surface modification of the studied Mn oxide with the layer of MnCO3 has been proposed (Sm-AMO). The subject of this thesis is to assess the effectiveness of chemical stabilization of two contaminated soils using Sm-AMO with a focus on Zn and to verify the stability Sm-AMO based on laboratory experiments. The results of preliminary stability testing of both materials in demineralized water confirmed that Sm-AMO is less soluble than the original AMO. However, this fact was not confirmed by the results of testing of AMO and Sm-AMO performed using pH-static leaching experiments, when no differences were observed between AMO and Sm-AMO stability based statistical analysis, except for the natural pH (6.03) in the Litavka soil (soil L). Both sorbents yielded greater stability with increasing pH. Adsorption kinetics of Pb, Zn, Cd and As, which are present in the tested soils, onto AMO and Sm-AMO was studied to compare the adsorption properties of both materials. Affinity of these metals was generally higher towards AMO, but the recorded equilibrium time was similar for both sorbents. The results of adsorption kinetics for both materials tested showed the highest sorption rate and the highest adsorbed amount for Pb and the lowest for Zn. Similar results were also observed at pH-static leaching experiment. Stabilization effectiveness of Sm-AMO compared to AMO was mainly demonstrated for Pb and As under natural pH conditions (pH 6,03 and 6,43) of Litavka and Smolotely soils. Considering the stabilization of Zn statistically significant stabilizing effect of AMO/Sm-AMO was observed only at pH 8, when the AMO showed to be more effective. The effectiveness of Sm-AMO for the immobilization of Zn was not as significant as expected, but compared with other immobilization amendments Sm-AMO is an effective sorbent for Zn stabilization.
Investigation of nano zero-valent iron and zinc interactions with plants in the hydroponics
Švengrová, Denisa ; Vítková, Martina (advisor) ; Petr, Petr (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of nanoscale Zero-Valent Iron (nZVI) application for the chemically assisted phytostabilization of zinc (Zn) in order to decrease mobility of this element in the environment. The interactions of nZVI and Zn have been investigated during the experiments using tomato plants (Lycopersicon esculentum L.), which were grown in a hydroponic solution. Furthermore, the effects of the interactions on the uptake of water, macronutrients and iron (Fe) have been assessed. The use of nZVI proved to be an effective solution for the stabilization of lower concentrations of Zn (100 micromol) in the root system or for purposes of the assisted phytoremediation. However, the impact of nZVI was not significant high concentrations of Zn (500 micromol). During the application of Zn at increased concentrations a decrease in water uptake has been observed, which can limit the macronutrient uptake. It is necessary to pay attention to further research and study the effects of the nanoparticles application and their interactions in the environment.
The Proposal of Improving Company Elements of the Marketing Mix
Šmok, Daniel ; Vítková, Marie (referee) ; Mikulec, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is the analysis of current marketing mix and definition of proposals for new marketing mix formulation. The theoretical part discusses different marketing mix conceptions and describes its individual components. The practical part focuses on evaluation of marketing mix in the analysed company. The final part proposes solutions for improvement of efficiency of marketing mix factors.
