The role of managers in the system of internal communication in company

The thesis deals with the issues of communication in the context of organization functioning. It explains the distinction between external and internal communication. The focus is on the internal communication, its types and means. Further we identify the competencies and roles of the line manager in the hierarchy of an organization and also the specific features of his performance in the area of internal communication. At the same time, we stress the role of the line manager in using the means of formal oral communication, such as a department meeting, a company-wide conference and a teleconference. The empirical analysis of the thesis focuses on the role of line managers at meetings, company-wide conferences and teleconferences in a particular company. Semi- structured interviews with line managers and enquiry questionnaires among subordinate employees offer an insight and assessment of the role of the line manager at the above mentioned formal meetings in this company.
Use of Internet for Talent Acquisition

This diploma thesis presents the current knowledge on the use of internet for the purpose of talent acquisition. Its main objective is to determine to what extent organizations emphasize this knowledge in practice. For this purpose the first chapter refers to the academic compilation of talent management concept. The aim is to define the term of talent within the talent management concept as well as within the personal management. The second charter presents the academic compilation in the field of recruitment focused on specifics in talented individuals acquiring. The third chapter presents current knowledge of internet recruitment. Next chapters focus on recruitment in practice by analyzing the online recruitment documentation of three specific organizations. Based on this analysis, it is apparent, that the surveyed organizations accentuate current trends to a large extent. Couple Relationships in the Workplace

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of couple relationships at work, it pays attention to those relationships when both a boyfriend and a girlfriend or married couples meet each other at the same workplace. The aim is to find out how people in this case reflect the interactions between professional and private life. First part of the thesis describes important concepts and theories. Author of the thesis analyses interpersonal relationships in the first place, she shows how they are treated in literature and what is the effect of the relationships to the organisation functioning. At the same time she mentions relating researches both from abroad and the Czech Republic. The author's own research is also a part of the bachelor thesis. Based on 16 interviews with respondents, who are in a relationship while working together, the author comes with a summarization of their ideas about a relationship with someone from work, she describes its particularities from the view of the participants themselves, and she also notes that such relationships seem to be less problematic than it is presented in the specialized literature.
Training courses for managers and possibilities of innovation in short-term courses for lower management

The present work focuses on training courses and education of lower level management. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of lower level management and its specific position in the organizational structure and competencies that are important. Another part of the theoretical work is devoted to education and the creation of educational activities including evaluation methods. There are presented two management courses in the empirical part for the lowest managerial positions at McDonald's Czech Republic and Slovakia. There are suggested possible improvements and changes in the conception rate onthe basis of the theoretical work. Part of the empirical part is also evaluation of feedback provided by course participants but systematically not processed. 4 Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with the identification with an organisational culture as a job satisfaction factor. It is focused on the concept of organisational culture, its content, structure, formation, determinants, function and some specific typologies, then on the concept of organisational identification where there are emphasized its factors and its distinctive manifestations and as last on the concept of job satisfaction. The main attention is paid again to the factors that affect it. The relations between these three concepts are discussed from a theoretical perspective and then analysed in an empirical investigation which was conducted in a specific environment of a student non-profit organisation. Analysis of financial literacy of the elderly in the Karlovy Vary region

The bachelor thesis is studying the financial literacy and financial education of eldery adults. The thesis is devided into four chapters. In the first chapter we follow up with the elderhood and aging, current demografic situation in the Czech Republic and it's possible progress in the future. This chapter is also focused on the changes brought by elderhood and social and economic consequences of aging. The second chapter is dedicated to education of older adults, to it's specificities and to selected institutions that provide education to older adults. The third chapter is devoted to the financial literacy. It contains, besides the definition and demarcation of financial literacy, also documents at the international and national level, which deal with those issues and research which dealt with the financial literacy of citizens of the Czech Republic. Furthermore it describes the problems of financial literacy amongst eldery citizens and projects that are dedicated to its support specifically for this group of citizens. Company Motivation Program

This thesis deals with the motivation program of the company and its basis. The thesis focuses on the analysis and the comparison of motivation theories that have influence on the creation of motivation programs. In addition to traditional motivation theories is a crucial part of the thesis devoted to the so-called new motivation theories. The new motivation theories are called because of their development during last thirty years. The main aspects of the comparison of motivation theories in this thesis is a historical view of the theories, but also a progress of management theories and related development of human resources management. The thesis aims to identify the benefit of new motivation theories for creation company motivation programs. The purpose of the participation of the elderly in the interest-based education (Motivation analysis of older adults living within Prague 12)

This bachelor thesis is focused on the elderly education, especially the motivation of older people to participate in educational activities. The paper consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with an overview of basic knowledge about the issue with the use of literature both domestic and foreign authors. The second, practical part contains a description of own empirical survey. The aim of the survey is to identify the main reasons for seniors to participate in organized interest-based education, fractional goal is to detect the most common barriers, obstacles to such participation. The survey was conducted by a quantitative method of questioning and the collected data was further evaluated and commented. Recruitment agencies and their activities seen by job applicants

This thesis deals with the most common HR service which is usually outsourced - recruitment agencies. The first, theoretical part is to introduce the agenda and it consists of several chapters: outsourcing in HR (what do companies outsource and why), and furthermore recruiting agencies (what kind of agencies can be found in the Czech republic, their legal background, what kind of services do they offer), how can these agencies help agencies and job applicants, their pros and cons. The second part, which is based on interviews with job applicants, describes how people perceive recruitment agencies - what do they expect, what are their experiences, whether they use the service that agencies offer, what are their opinion about recruitment consultants etc. The research concludes with several suggestions for job applicants and for recruitment consultants.
