Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na oblast vzdělávání seniorů, především pak na motivaci starších osob k účasti na vzdělávacích aktivitách. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se snaží o přehledné shrnutí základních poznatků o problematice s využitím odborné literatury domácích i zahraničních autorů. Druhá, prakticky zaměřená část, obsahuje popis vlastního empirického šetření. Cílem šetření je postihnout hlavní důvody seniorů k účasti na organizovaném zájmovém vzdělávání, dílčím cílem je pak odhalení nejčastějších bariér, překážek této účasti. Šetření bylo realizováno kvantitativní metodou dotazování a sebraná data byla dále vyhodnocena a okomentována. Klíčová slova: Stáří, stárnutí, senior, vzdělávání seniorů, motivace ke vzdělávání This bachelor thesis is focused on the elderly education, especially the motivation of older people to participate in educational activities. The paper consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with an overview of basic knowledge about the issue with the use of literature both domestic and foreign authors. The second, practical part contains a description of own empirical survey. The aim of the survey is to identify the main reasons for seniors to participate in organized interest-based education, fractional goal is to detect the most common barriers, obstacles to such participation. The survey was conducted by a quantitative method of questioning and the collected data was further evaluated and commented.
