The position of love in the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales
Svobodová, Jana ; Brož, Prokop (advisor) ; Houkal, Jan (referee)
The centre of S. Francis of Sales's spirituality is love. In my thesis, first of all, I deal with formative influences which formed his personality. This is the starting point in the discourse about Francis's theological optimism, its roots and its influence on the conception of God. For S. Francis God is esentially the God in Trinity, who share love in the highest manner also with a man through the mystery of Incarnation. Francis's conception of love that has its seat in the heart of a human being is connected with that conviction. In the very top of a heart there is the will which is called up to make decisions according to love that gives the true motivation. On the way of the growth of love the highest aim is the holy indifference, which enables God to act in a human heart according to His intentions. For S. Francis love to God is closely connected with love to a man who is the image of God. During his direction of souls to love S. Francis recommends first of all kindness and as the main mens a prayer and sacraments. The heart which has become fully pervaded with love, which loves and is loved, we can best contemplate at Virgin Mary.
Application of Orthopedic Insoles in Childhood
Svobodová, Julie ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Use of orthopaedic insoles in childhood Supervisor: PhDr. Tereza Nováková, PhD. Problem definition: The importance of the longitudinal arch is one of the most discussed topics in orthopaedics. Similarly important is the indication of orthopaedic insoles for flat feet especially in children. Experts have different opinions about what age insoles should be prescribed, and if their use is beneficial. So far, a clearly defined boundary has not been established between real pathology and a flexible flat foot formed on the basis of hypermobility which is to some extent physiological in childhood. Aim: To compare the plantograms of groups of six-year-old children with diagnosed pes planus/planovalgus before and after six month (or more) use of, individually prepared, insoles. To compare the results with a group of children that did not have insoles prescribed and on this basis to judge whether there was change (improvement) that can be proven with the use of a plantogram. Method: Two groups of six-year-old subjects were formed. The experimental group: subjects with prescribed orthopaedic insoles, and the control group: subjects that were not prescribed orthopaedic insoles. Plantograms were evaluated with the help of the Chippaux-Šmiřák index method. Conclusion: The results indicate a partial...
Progress of discipline precision landing passed on the development of a circular parachute
Svobodová, Jana ; Dvorský, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Fiala, Miloš (referee)
Title: Progress of discipline precision landing based on the development of a circular parachute Objectives of work: The aim of this work is to map the history of skydiving with a focus on racing discipline of precision landing and on the development of a circular parachute. Due to insufficient number of compact resources and web sites, so the work becomes the file that holds the issue in a comprehensive manner and develop a unified overview of the analysis problem. Method: This is a theoretical work, the kernel of the work will be at tracing specialized publications, journals and websites, collecting information, filtering the relevant data in their comprehensive use. Results: Objective of thesis was largely achieved. It turned out that the topic is very broad to draw up a detailed summery of the entire history of the research question. The topic was therefore processed generally and is more like a preview than a perfect description. Intended overview was given. Key words: Skydiving, parachute, competitive discipline, precision landing, history.
Attitudes of selected target groups to questions of educational inclusion
Svobodová, Jana ; Hájková, Vanda (advisor) ; Durdilová, Lucie (referee)
TITLE: Attitudes of selected target groups to questions of educational inclusion ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with attitudes of selected target groups to questions of educational inclusion. The theoretical part defines notions of integration, inclusion and their historical evolution. Then it deals with factors participating on efficiency of educational inclusion and suitable preparation for education of pupils with different types of special education needs at primary school. The practical part analyzes results which were collected during the research and explains the opinions of selected target groups. Keywords: Integration, inclusion, pupils with special education needs, family, primary school, special education diagnostics, consultancy
Physiological and hormonal mechanisms influencing ejaculate quality in birds
Mojžišová, Kateřina ; Tomášek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Svobodová, Jana (referee)
Sexual selection is an important mechanism of evolution. In addition to precopulatory sexual selection, arising when males compete for female partners, there is also postcopulatory sexual selection (sperm competition), when females copulate with more males. Even though most avian species are socially monogamous, most of them are also partially promiscuous. In such species, sperm competition is an important factor increasing variability in reproductive success between males. Male's success in sperm competition is primarily determined by sperm concentration, total sperm count and morphology and motility of spermatozoa. My bachelor thesis summarizes knowledge about the hormonal a physiological mechanisms that influence semen quality. This is especially the effect of sex and other hormones, physiological and oxidative stress, environmental conditions, antioxidant mechanism and composition of sperm cell membrane. Besides evaluating their influence on ejaculate quality on intraspecific level, I also describe their differences between avian species with respect to the differences of sperm competition.
Stress proteins in the cytoplasmic membrane fraction of Bacillus subtilis
Šemberová, Lenka ; Svobodová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Krásný, Libor (referee)
Stress proteins in the cytoplasmic membrane fraction of Bacillus subtilis A primary habitat of the Gram-positive bacterium Bacillus subtilis is the upper layer of the soil. Within this ecosystem, B. subtilis experiences a wide variety of environmental challenges and nutrient limitations that induce several mechanisms to help the cells to survive. A process known as a general stress response belongs among them. Expression of about 150 genes is enhanced and their products called general stress proteins (GSP) minimize the cell damage. Although the size and structure, as well as the regulation, of many stress proteins have been fairly well elucidated the information about stress membrane proteins is very limited. We characterized the membrane proteome of Bacillus subtilis 168 trp2- exposed to acidic pH and ethanol. Cells were 1) grown under optimum conditions in complex medium (pH 7.0) at 40řC with aeration; 2) grown in complex medium at pH 5.0 for 20 hours or 3) challenged with 3% v/v ethanol for 30 minutes during exponential growth. The cultures were harvested in the mid-exponential phase by rapid filtration. Isolated membrane fractions were analysed by an optimized two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. Two alternative methods of protein detection were compared: silver staining and radioactive labeling with...
Jewish children : The Rituals of transition
Svobodová, Jana ; Dvořáková, Markéta (advisor) ; Pelcová, Naděžda (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the transition rituals of Jewish children. It introduces the individual rites and ritual objects that are to perform the necessary ceremonies. These are ceremonies associated with birth and religious maturity, which relate to boys and girls at the age of pubescence. It is in these rituals is the apparent difference. To be a newborn boy circumcised, requires no knowledge, as is the case with bar mitzvah ceremony. The work compares the history of the rituals, their biblical foundations, the preparatory phase and today's practice. The comparison focuses on the current situation in the Czech Republic.
