The Using of Coping Strategies among Managers in the Terms of Job Satisfaction

This bachelor thesis deals with the subject of work stress and using coping strategies among managers in the terms of job satisfaction. The first part of the thesis includes the comparsion of the concept stress and mental load, continues with description of the related terms. The second part provides details about job satisfaction. The third part defines managerial work and the demands that managers and leaders are forced to deal with. The empirical part is based on literature search and so far conducted researches, which describe these facts only marginally. The main aim of own research is to verify dependency between the overall level of job satisfaction and preferences for using offensive or defensive stress management strategies. Another goal is to find out how are these preferences affected by the availability of stress management trainings in the workplace. The partial aim is to analyze the most common situations in which managers experience stress load. A quantitative survey was implemented by means of an electronic questionnaire. The results confirmes the relationship between coping strategies and job satisfaction although, only in the case od defensive strategies, the use of which significatnly reduce job satisfaction. The Impact of Burnout Syndrome on Teachers' Work Career

Bachelor's thesis works up the issue of burnout syndrome at teachers of elementary and high schools. Goal of this bachelor's thesis is to capture the impact of burnout syndrome on teachers' work performance and career. At first attention in the thesis is dedicated to the definition of burnout syndrome and it's causes, it's particular phases, consequences of burnout syndrome and it's possible prevention. Attention is also paid to the profession and work career of teachers in connection with the factors influencing work career because of burnout syndrome. Goal of the qualitative research is to find out in what way the burnout syndrome effects the work career at target group of elementary and high school teachers, who have the burnout syndrome professional diagnosed for at least one year. Data is gathered by personnel interviews with twelve people aged 25 to 65 years from the field of elementary and high school education coming from Central Bohemian Region and from Ústí nad Labem Region. Responders are chosen via non-random occasional choice. Responders can enrol on research voluntarily by e-mail on the basis of invitation addressed to principals of elementary and high schools. Further Education of Pedagogical Staff as Latent Prevention of Burnout

The bachelor thesis elaborates the issue of further education of pedagogical staff as a preventive measure of burnout syndrome of teachers. The aim of the bachelor is to analyze the potential connection between further education of pedagogical staff and the prevention of burnout syndrome. Theoretical part is devoted to the connection of burnout syndrome with the teacher profession, according to modern a theory of psychohygiene and personal education. Firstly there is a description of the burnout syndrome - definition, course, and prevention which is especially important. Furthermore, there is the form of the further education of pedagogical staff. One of the most important part is devoted to legislation that applies to further education of pedagogical staff. In the final phase, there is a question of connecting these two topics. The aim of the quantitative empirical survey is to evaluate whether the further education of pedagogical staff functions as a prevention of burnout syndrome and if teachers are sufficiently informated about this fact. From the resulting data, we can confirm the fact that further education of pedagogical staff can function as a preventive measure against the burnout syndrome. Use of Current Didactic Methods in Employee Education in Organizations

5 ABSTRACT This thesis aims to analyse the application of current didactic methods to staff education. The main point of departure for its theoretical section have been several studies treating current didactic methods; the empirical research rests on monitoring and comparison and contrasting of the theory posited by the Design Sprint method with its use in practice. First, the aims and formats of staff education are defined. Next, individual didactic methods are outlined. Eventu- ally, we look at how Design Sprint methods are adjusted in real-life scenarios, by monitoring staff education in an organisation. The fundamental goal of the project presented is to encourage older people’s cultural participation and the associated positive intergenerational impact of cultural events and activities at the local and regional levels. The project’s implementation will provide public administration with comprehensive guidelines for systematic encouragement of intergenerational transfer and sharing of cultural values through cultural dialogue at the local and regional levels. In that way, public policies in the area can significantly contribute to intergenerational cohabitation. The project enhances understanding of a character of the mechanisms of intergenerational dialogue that is connected with learning and cultural transmission in the contexts of local and regional cultural events and initiatives. It shows the possibilities and indentify the competences (of public administration sector), that need to be strengthened if we want to improve the mechanisms of dialogue. The practical goal of the project is to offer the set of recommendations how to support the process of intergenerational dialogue and create the space for its functions in the public space of the municipalities and regions.

Barries in Employing Teaching Assistants

The aim of this thesis is to identify and analyse barriers and risks that go along with the profession of teaching assistant. The first part provides the comparison of the key competencies of teachers and teaching assistants, describes their motivation to perform their profession and issues the self-realization of teaching assistants. The second part defines the profession of teaching assistant, deals specifically with the qualification, personality requirements and the job content. The third and fourth parts examine the employment of teaching assistants and their position on the labour market. That includes legislative framework, the establishment of the profession of teaching assistant, concrete risks stemming from the profession, the issue of its financing and also spread of the profession within the Czech Republic. The last part of the thesis carries out a quantitative survey using empirical data from a questionnaire published online and handed to the real teaching assistants. The main aim of the survey is to identify the real barriers and to see the true perception of the problems which may hinder the self-realization in the profession as well as the professionalism and the overall attitude to the profession. Factors of procrastination in theories of work motivation

Procrastination describes an undesirable form of delay of a previously intended act. It is in large part related to the level of work motivation. In spite of this, theories of work motivation do not generally deal with procrastination. The goal of this thesis is to identify factors of procrastination in selected theories of work motivation - in the goal-setting theory, in the self-determination theory and in the temporal motivation theory. The thesis is based mainly on metanalytical and summary works dedicated to the problematics of procrastination and on academic literature about the selected theories of work motivation. The relationship between procrastination and work motivation is analysed, followed by a derivation of possible factors of procrastination from the selected theories of work motivation. Then, the relationship of the factors of procrastination identified by research studies with the factors derived from the stated theories of work motivation is analyzed. By this analysis are the factors of procrastination in the stated theories of work motivation identified. 4 Abstract The bachelor thesis deals with the process of adaptation of Filipinos in organizations operating in the Czech Republic. This thesis aims to analyze problems in the process of adaptation of workers in organizations. The thesis is devoted to the whole adaptation process, different approaches to the adaptation process and its phases are described. The specifics of the Philippine working culture are also presented and compared with the working culture in the Czech Republic. Part of this work is an empirical investigation, which aims to identify problems of adaptation of Filipinos and followed with options for effective adaptation process. Design of Training Methodology for Competitive Adult Ballroom Dance Classes

This bachelor thesis deals with the field of teaching competitive ballroom dancing for adults. Competitive dancing is a discipline exploiting accessible knowledge and theory of other scientific fields such as sports in general, sports training psychology and psychology. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to outline a methodology of teaching ballroom dancing for adults. The first chapter is focused on general overview of selected aspects of sports training, such as training management, training structure, training parts and training load characteristics, including defining basic terms. The second chapter deals with the teaching aspects of competitive ballroom dancing. It focuses in detail on dancing couple motivation, communication between trainers and couples and on trainer's roles. The third chapter deals with the structure of training units (parts and focus). The fourth chapter represents the core part of this work. Exploiting the above-mentioned theories, it designs a teaching methodology of competitive ballroom dancing for adult couples. The empiric research is complementary, and its aim is to investigate practical implementation of the theoretical knowledge in the field of competitive ballroom dancing.
