Analysis of chosen civics textbooks from the perspective of gender
Šilpochová, Daniela ; Hyánková, Tereza (advisor) ; Ondráček, Vojtěch (referee)
This thesis is focused on the analysis of three chosen civics textbooks for the 6th grade of primary school from the perspective of gender. The aim was to find out, using qualitative and quantitative content analysis, whether or not women and men are depicted in gender stereotyped roles and in what numbers they are represented. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to explaining the concepts of sex and gender, gender socialisation, gender in the school environment and gender in language. The practical part is dedicated to the analysis of the textbooks. As a result of the analysis, it is found that in all textbooks women are significantly outnumbered by men. However, the gender correctness of the textbooks increases over time. KEYWORDS gender, gender roles, gender stereotypes, textbook, civics, school

Changes in pulmonary function and cardiac activity during reflex rolling stimulation according to Vojta
Charvátová, Zuzana ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Martínek, Milan (referee)
Author: Zuzana Charvátová Title: Changes in pulmonary function and cardiac activity during reflex rolling stimulation according to Vojta Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate accompanying non-locomotive manifestations within the comprehensive response to stimulation of trigger zones from the concept of reflex locomotion according to Professor Vojta, which are a reflection of the function of the autonomic nervous system. Changes in respiratory parameters and changes in cardiac activity have been selected from these manifestations. Methods: The research was conducted on 26 healthy adult women aged 19-25 years. Reflex rolling according to Vojta from the supine position (RO - 1st phase) was chosen. Pressure stimulation was applied from the left chest trigger zone between the 6th and 7th rib for 10 minutes. Each subject also underwent apparent (sham) stimulation in the same position (RO - 1st phase), lasting 10 minutes, but on the right side of the chest between the 2nd and 3rd rib. Due to the possible lingering effect of pressure stimulation during VRL, sham stimulation was always preceded by experimental stimulation. A 10-minute break was taken between the two cycles. Data for the analysis of changes in lung function were obtained by spirometric measurements of FVC, FEV1, and PEF before...
Prerequisites of feedback mechanisms in telerehabilitation
Halková, Andrea ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title : Preconditions of feedback mechanism in telerehabilitation Objectives: The aim of this master thesis was to determine whether and under what conditions it is possible to objectively assess the exercise execution, according to predefined parameters of given exercise remotely, based on vide-recording only. Methods: 40 probands, a healthy adult population, were included in the evaluation, for which video recordings of the exercises were made. These exercises were then judged by 75 raters-more or less experienced specialists in the field-according to preset conditions. They were evaluated for their agreement with each other, their agreement with themselves when the same video was repeated, and the difference between the ratings according to their length of practice. Parameter analysis was performed according to the agreement in their ratings, or the differences between the rating parameters in terms of their specificity. The measured values were statistically and graphically processed.. Results : It has been shown that the correctness of the exercise execution can be remotely evaluated, especially if specific parameters are selected, mostly those for which it is easy to determine the truth value. A higher degree of objectivity and therefore inter-rater agreement is achieved by raters with longer...
Development of social behavior in preschool children using literary works
Kubátová, Tereza ; Laufková, Veronika (advisor) ; Kadrnožková, Monika (referee)
This thesis presents options how to acquaint preschool-aged children with etiquette by the work with a book. The theoretical part of this thesis defines the basic terms which are related to etiquette and are crucial to the topic of thesis. It deals with socialization, social and moral development of preschool-aged children. This part gains an insight into etiquette. It sums up the findings about children's literature and takes a deeper view on stories with educational content. There is also a closer view on information how to work with a book in nursery school by the methods of Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking and Three Phase Model of Learning. There were determined five partial goals in the practical part. First of all it was being found out if and in what way the nursery teachers work with children with a topic of the formal rules of correct or polite behaviour in society. To achieve this goal was made the questionnaire for nursery teachers. On the basis of the outcome of this questionnaire were evaluated five most common difficulties of children's etiquette in the nursery (relationships, observing the rules, table manners, manipulation with things and relationship with authorities). Subsequently there were created educational lessons connected with these five trouble areas, which the...

It was developer using the Click4Survey tool allowed for comprehensive implementation and evaluation of the responses. Relative frequency was used for statistical data analysis. Results: The qualitative part of the study provided detailed understanding of parents'...
Relation of depression, stress and anxiety levels and current mood state with the size of the complex response during stimulation of reflex turning according to Vojta
Košatková, Zuzana ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Švojgrová, Andrea (referee)
Author: Zuzana Košatková Title: Relation of depression, stress and anxiety levels and current mood state with the size of the complex response during stimulation of reflex turning according to Vojta. Aims: The main aim of the thesis is to clarify whether there is a relationship between the level of depression, anxiety and stress levels and current mood state with the size of the complex response during the stimulation of reflex turning according to Vojta (VRL). Other aim is to find out whether reflexive turning according to Vojta has an effect on current mood state. Methods: The study was conducted on 27 healthy women aged 19-25 years. At the beginning of the research participants completed the DASS-42 and POMS-SF questionnaire. Then, a 10-minute placebo stimulation of reflex turning ("chest zone" between the 2nd and 3rd ribs) was performed. During the 10-minute break, probands again completed the POMS-SF questionnaire. This was followed by 10-minute of reflex turning stimulation by Vojta from thesupine position from the thoracic zone between the 6th and 7th ribs. At the end of the session, participants completed the POMS-SF questionnaire for the last time. Non-parametric repeated measures ANOVA, post-hoc Durbin-Conover test and correlation matrix with Kendall's Tau B correlation coefficient were...
