Thermoacoustic measurement of ultrasonic power
Kučera, Václav ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with ultrasound intensity and power measuring methods of the medical diagnostic systems, especially with thermoacoustic method. Then the concept of thermoacoustic sensor is processed and it is checked by comparison with the power of ultrasound system measured by the hydrophone in ultrasonic measuring tank. In the leading chapter basic parameters of general ultrasonic field are described. Next part deals with particular ultrasound intensity and power measuring methods. The last part deals with projecting of the thermoacoustic sensor, measuring with this sensor, measuring with hydrophone and comparison of this measurements.
The study of the influence of process parameters on the roughness of the cut for flame laser cutting of stainless steel
Kučera, Václav ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
Thesis presents a study of the influence of process parameters on the roughness of the cut surface. The test material is 1.4301, namely austenitic stainless steel. When a parameter is the surface roughness not change too much. In some samples there were defects in the form of cutting burrs. The graphs below show the estimated minimum change one parameter (the lowest point of the curve). As the most important parameter from a technological point of view, cutting speed, constitutes a major cost item compared to the auxiliary gas and power. For samples with a thickness of 2 mm and 3 mm has been achieved good results with decrease in the cutting rate of 30% percent, although when cutting the samples with a default rate was almost identical results. For samples with a thickness of 3 mm the best results were achieved by increasing the speed by 30 %, decrease the rate should be compared with the economy of the process to reduce surface roughness. For changes in the gas pressure was achieved the best values at a pressure increase of 30 %. When you change the performance of the best results are achieved by setting 100–90 % capacity.
Security System Based on Intelligent Sensors
Kučera, Vojtěch ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
The main target of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement security system based on intelligent sensors. First part describes basic principles, design and implementation of security systems. Further are explained functions and use of intelligent sensors. The creation of design and implementation process are shown in the next part of the thesis. Security system consists of local system, which is integrated into physical building, and server providing web interface. System monitors its surroundings through intelligent sensors and responds to security incidents. Actual state and events history are available through web interface.
Device for measurement of electrochemical cells characteristics by the cyclic voltammetry
Kučera, Vojtěch ; Bilko, Radek (referee) ; Lábus, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with observation of cells parameters. One of the potential solutions for observing the characteristics of cells are utilization the electrochemical analyse called voltametry. Its fundamental consists of loading variable voltage in between two electrodes dipped in electrolytic solution and monitoring flowing current. The point of the thesis is to build up the measuring workplace, which can provide this measurement. We suggest utilization of modern laboratory technique and connection the measuring instruments with PC. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical knowledge of used functions and describes theirs mathematics definitions. The second part deals with proceeding of workplace realization, instrument connection with PC and development application in computer’s language. Result is measuring workplace, which can provide observing cells according to entered parameters.
The modernization of CNC system of milling machine EMCO
Kučera, Vítězslav ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the modernization of the EMCO milling machine control system. The theoretical part is focused on the basic description of CNC machine and current state of EMCO milling machine control system. The main point of this thesis is new control system design for given milling machine, when the proposed variants are described and compared according to construction and price. The one variant is selected that best suits the specified parameters. Also, in the TwinCAT development interface from Beckhoff the new control system is created and described in the end of this work.
Dirt Bike Suspension Construction
Kučera, Vlastimil ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
Front suspension significantly influences the characteristics of the motorcycle, so it is necessary to deal with the problem. The bachelor thesis presents individual suspension functions, it describes and explains function of air spring and coil spring forks, analyzes the damping system and shows the options for settings of the forks. It compares the design of the forks used in production motocross motorcycles from 2016 and 2017 and refers to their potential advantages or disadvantages. The forks d iffer from each other mainly by the type of spring, and whether each leg contains spring and damper or they have a separate function. Each solution has its advantages and disadvantages, it depends mainly on the overall setting of the fork.
The Study of Polyolefins Photochloration
Kučera, Vladimír ; Tocháček, Jiří (referee) ; Petrůj, Jaroslav (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with heterogeneous photochlorination of polyolefins and especially with the photochlorination of polypropylene itself. In the theoretical part the available information about properties, manufactory and application of chlorinated polyolefins, specifically polyethylene and polypropylene, is provided. The basic principles of the photochemistry are described, which are further applied to the issue of photochemistry chain reactions and photochemical halogenations, mainly photochlorinations. The practical part includes design and realization of few types of equipment for the heterogeneous photochlorination of polypropylene done at low temperatures (to 50° C) by gaseous chlorine in bulk or chlorine suspended in suspension of PP in CCl4. Series of chlorination was accomplished, which was varied in the type of PP, in the way of dosage Cl2 and in the period of high pressure mercury lamp irradiation (1–90 minutes). The chlorine content in prepared samples was determined by the gravimetry with ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, as well as by the Shöniger combustion method. Their accuracies were than compared. The chlorine content dependence on the period of chlorination and on the porosity of initial PP was established.
Block Cejl – Svitava RIver Waterfront
Kučera, Vít ; Stuchlík, Aleš (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
This thesis explores possibilities of postindustrial area in Brno, between Cejl street and Svitava river. It presents a hint on author's understanding of architecture and urbanism as well as his oppinion on solved problems. Thesis consists of three parts. First part analyzes possibilities, values and limits of the area. Second part presents proposed urban concept for solved area. Last part further solves concept for three building from beforementioned urban concept.
Comparison of Appraisal Methods in the US and the Czech Republic
Kučera, Vlastimil ; Cupal, Martin (referee) ; Komosná, Milada (advisor)
The thesis serves as a comparison of valuation processes, which are being used in the CZ and the US. It brings information about appraisal practice in the CZ and the US. It describes individual valuation approaches and definitions of important variables according to the available literature. Moreover, the thesis focuses deeper on market approach valuation. It shows differences in individual processes and approaches on the application of processes on selected example and then uses obtained differences to determine recommended changes. In shows different structures of appraisal reports in the conclusion too.
Real-Time Cloud Rendering
Kučera, Vít ; Pečiva, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Clouds are ubiquitous and ever-changing feature of the outdoors. They are an integral factor in Earth's weather systems. Component of water circulation in a nature and a strong indicator of weather patterns and changes. Clouds are important component of the visual simulation of any outdoor scene, but the complexity of cloud formation, dynamics, and light interaction makes cloud simulation and rendering difficult in real time. In an interactive flight simulation, users would like to fly in and around realistic, volumetric clouds. I Present, two main ways of representation cloud in computer graphic, where one way use for modelling Perlin noise and second one use for modelling fluid dynamic system.
