Design of a machine for filling and closing tubes
Doležal, David ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
The master's thesis on the topic " Design of a machine for filling and closing tubes " addresses the construction issues of the specified device. The introductory part includes a systematic analysis of the task, which then guides the execution of the thesis. The literature review section lists manufacturers of filling equipment and describes various types of filling devices. A plastic tube and the filling mixture were selected. The dimensions of the tube were chosen to be 35 mm in diameter and 165 mm in height. Toothpaste was selected as the mixture. The next part of the thesis deals with the design of the filling device, where emphasis was placed on the simplicity of manufacturing and ease of assembly. The device was divided into individual functional units, which are described in the document. In conclusion, an evaluation of the filling device assembly is presented, including recommendations for possible improvements in the design. The result of the thesis is a 3D model of the filling device for plastic tubes.
Virtual commissioning of a robotic palletizing system
Novák, Tomáš ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a conceptual design and virtual commisioning of robotic palletizing system. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals in the first part of research with the current state of knowledge in the robotics implementation in the industry, definitions of virtual commisioning and softwares needed to make it happen. The second part is focused on the development and proceses of palletization. In the practical part is created a model exercise, described 3 designs of robotic cells, choice of the final design to virtual commision, components design, robot design and gripper design. The main part of the diploma thesis is focused on creating a simulation in software Process Simulate, design of control program and HMI in the interface of software TIA Portal and implementation of robotics programs to Robot Studio. The final result and the validation of virtual commisioning and single purpose machines was recorded and attached in the work attachment.
Design of end effectors for forgings handling in an automated line
Pazour, Jiří ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of four end effectors for forgings handling in an automated forging line. After a systematic analysis and determination of important variables, three conceptual variants of effectors were proposed, from which the best one was selected by means of multicriteria analysis. The parallel gripper variant was selected as the best one, for which the jaw shapes were designed and the required gripping force was calculated. According to the required stroke per jaw and force, the parallel gripper PGN-plus-P 300-1-V was selected, for which sensors, fittings, hoses, guards and valves were chosen. Furthermore, the manufactured parts, e.g. guards and flanges, were designed. The final design was verified by calculations for the maximum load of the gripper and the industrial robot. Last but not least, the total purchase price of the four effectors was estimated at CZK 620,000. This amount did not include the costs of assembly and the profit on sale.
Design of end effector for automatic threading
Jiříček, Lukáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the design of the end effector intended for threading. The end effector should allow for position compensation and automatic tool change. It should be designed for cutting internal threads from size M5 to size M10 using taps. The weight of the end effector structure should not exceed 10 kg. At the beginning of the thesis, research was conducted in the field of end effectors. Furthermore, an analysis of the problem of threading was carried out. In the next part of the thesis, two variants of the end-effector solution were designed, from which the more advantageous solution was selected based on a multi-criteria analysis. A design and calculations were also made for this solution. An assembly drawing and production drawings of selected components were made to represent the design of the effector. At the end of the thesis, an economic evaluation of the end effector was made.
Design of end effector for handling with glass stopper
Hrnko, Lukáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Synek, Miloš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the structural design of the end effector for handling with the glass stopper of the hydrogen reactor of high temperature semiconductor diffusion furnace. The work includes the summary of information about semiconductor diffusion furnace, the choice of the appropriate industrial robot, the design of the end effector structural solution, the design of its supporting structure, the power and strength calculation, the design of the end effector control and economic evaluation of its production. The 3D model together with 2D production documentation which contains the assembly drawing of the individual parts of end effector was created on the basis of the end effector design.
Analysis of the Delta robot workspace
Kočan, Michal ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyze the workspace Delta robot, depending on the number and length of his arms. Introduction is focused on a general description of the problems in the form of theoretical part. In another part are solving problems about kinematic problems. Another section is devoted to linking NI LabVIEW SolidWorks. Using connection NI LabVIEW with the active module SoftMotion and SolidWorks interface was simulated movements Delta robot in space.
Design of a Robotic End Effector
Hesina, Ondřej ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses the possibility of grasping of the object by an industrial robot KUKA KR 16. Gripping object is a plate-shaped cast made from aluminium alloy with inner hole. After analysing the options is selected the most suitable option, designed end effector for bin-picking method and use already have been used grippers in practice.
Design of Robot end effector with automatic tool exchange
Jirges, Radek ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Krejčí, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design an end effector for a small robot for testing of devices with a touchscreen. The effector has to communicate with the robot via serial interface and provide feedback about used downforce. Another requirement was possibility of automatic tool change. Measuring of downforce, signal processing, and communication with robot ensures custom electronics based on STM32 microprocessor and piezoresistive sensor. The mechanism of tool change was inspired by the system used with industrial robots but customized for this application. The result of this thesis is a functional prototype of a stylus for devices with a touchscreen which provides feedback about the downforce on display and possibility of automatic tool change. The main benefit of this solution is the possibility of changing the tool for the one with one or more styluses for testing gesture-based interface what is indispensable in these days.
