Metody kariérního koučinku a poradenství

The bachelor thesis deals with the topics of career coaching and consulting focused on high school students in the Czech Republic. The main aspects of the thesis are the mentioned terms, which are described in relation to the framework programs of high schools, then the theoretical basis of coaching and career consulting related to the topics of motivation and indecision are presented. The aim of the thesis is to draft a methodological framework including the topics of career coaching and consulting as support for young people in their entry into the labour market. This draft was tested with a pilot group of students. A questionnaire survey was constructed from the information obtained from the methodological procedure. The data set was then analysed using statistical tools. The structured interviews reflected the results from the questionnaire survey, where certain issues were explored in more depth. The results provide a source of recommendations and suggestions for discussion related to the entry of high school graduates into the labour market.

Systemic approach and dialog as an useful support for practise of career guidance counselor

The first part renders the theoretical introduction to the problems of career guidance and the next possible educational choice. There are clarified the important terms of the work, selected parts of career progression, characteristics of development stage of pubescent with respect to the next possible educational choice at the end of the primary school. Then we get acquainted with the basic principles of methodical approach and characteristics of systemic dialog. The empiric part brings particular casuistry which illustrates searching of harmony between personality of a pupil, background for exercise of a profession, chanciness, ignorance and deficient of maturity of pupils (their parents too) for the next career progression. We try to show the importance and benefit of the systemic approach and dialog just with guidance in casuistry and discussions. It tries to show a suitable systemic approach as a theoretical and philosophical framework of career counselor in the context of the consulting situation with children and their parents. This work shows that this approach helps that the counselor does not only submit a verdict but creates a place for thinking about possibilities. Changes in the role of a regular elementary school counsellor after the implementation of an inclusion model.

This diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author derives from the historical findings of Educational Counselling Facilities in the Czech Educational system. Furthermore, she focuses on the definition of Educational Counselling Facilities before the introduction of the new concept of Individual Integration in 2016, including the working methods of school guidance counsellor. The author defines the terms of Individual Integration in detail and deals with the amendment and its consequences in the work of school guidance counsellors and teachers. The practical part includes an empirical research based on semi-structured interviews with school guidance counsellors. The author summarizes the findings of her questionnaire survey carried on among schoolteachers. In the final part, the author specifies the changes in the working methods of school guidance counsellors after the implementation of the new concept of Individual Integration starting from 1st September 2016. The author also clarifies the impact of the Individual Integration concept on the everyday responsibilities of the teachers and the educational facilities from their point of view.
Factors that affected the choice of study programme Social Work among students

This bachelor thesis deals with the factors that influenced the students to choose the social work degree, it aims to find out which factors influenced the students most in choosing the social work degree. Theoretical part is focused on the field of social work itself, its target groups, the personality of the social worker, but also the problems of choosing the professional orientation and, last but not least, the very circumstances influencing the choice of the future focus. For clarity, factors are divided into groups of psychological, social, personal factors, study factors, and work value factors. To elaborate the practical part, it was used the strategy of quantitative research, the method of questioning, the data collection was made using the technique of my own questionnaire. Respondents were chosen for the practical part of my work based on a stratified random sampling. There were interviewed 135 full-time students studying from the first to third years the degree of social work in the public administration. Three research hypotheses were formed for practical part. If previous education was more relevant factor in choosing their field of previous studies, then prospective application. If there is an increase of interest by students of social work degree during time of their studies. If use of professional counselling services was more common by students of humane and medical focused schools, then others. The questionnaire was made out of 12 questions. Primary aim of questionnaire was to find out influence by set up factors. Secondary aim was verifying fulfilment of research hypotheses from collected data. After the data collection, data matrix was written and subsequent evaluation under SPSS software was made. From the processed results, it is obvious that the respondents identified a group of psychological factors as the most important factors, whereas the most significant factor for them was the personality. Of the other groups of factors on the given students, the factor of the family was most influencing by the social factors, the personal factors included their interests. Considering the study factors, respondents mention the form of the study to be the most important factor and finally speaking about the factors in the work values, the self-realization in the field was the most crucial. The first hypothesis was found out incorrect, students were more influenced by future application. Both second and third hypotheses were found correct, there is the increase of interest among students during their studies and there were higher number users of professional counselling services by students of selected schools. Results from research can be use as information for faculty, also it can be suitable for students which want to choose the social work degree and it can be useful for them what to considered before choosing their career.
The Choice of an Appropriate Subject of Study Through Practical Experience

This text concentrates on career decision making of high school students aspirating to university studies. The emphasis is on practical work experience as a specific aspect of career counselling. The goal of the thesis is to examine the role of a practical experience inthe scope of career decision making. The thesis first offers a theoretical grounding of the topic.The empirical part includes a detailed description of a project, the aim of which was to arrange for students an opportunity for a practical work experience within the field they are interested in studying. How to choose a secondary school for a child with specific learning disabilities The aim of the diploma thesis was to outline the current situation in the secondary school choice for pupils with specific learning disabilities and to arouse discussion about the topic. The thesis has the form of an overview study followed by a research probe. On the basis of the research probe, stages of secondary school choice are specified and recommendations regarding the choice are presented for the pupils with specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with the definition of the following main terms based on the literature studied: specific learning disabilities, self-concept and career counseling. Further, the thesis includes a description of symptoms of the specific learning disabilities that are connected with the preferred strategy for secondary school choice. In the practical part of the thesis, the research probe is provided. The research sample is represented by pupils with specific learning disabilities attending the 9th grade of school in four regions (Prague, Pilsen, Ústí nad Labem and Moravian-Silesian region).
