School uniform phenomenon

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of school uniforms in the Czech Republic.This paper will introduce you to the concept of wearing uniforms, the brief beginnings of uniforms and finally the introduction of uniforms at schools. You will be introduced to some countries which have a long tradition of school uniforms and those in the Czech Republic who are just at the very beginning. The aim of this thesis is to map out where the school uniforms are worn, decipher which factors are needed when introducing uniforms in Czech schools and what are the advantages and disadvantages resulting from the implementation of the wearing of uniforms in Czech schools. I will present my findings based on a research survey of the wider public in which I have posed the question of what the public thinks of school uniforms and what effect this has on their perception of uniforms. I also present detailed photographic artwork drafts which represent uniformity. What follows in this paper is the implementation of these concepts as well as my own graphic examples of school uniforms. Comparison of methods of teaching skating at these schools on the base of observations and interviews with the coaches. Co-operation between school and family

The dissertation deals with the forms of cooperation between family and kindergarten. The theoretical part characterizes the preschool child. It discribes each area of preschool children′s evolution? It maps the possibilities of cooperation between schools and kindergartens in the curriculum documents and others educational documents. Also it characterizes forms of cooperation in the education program Step by Step. It defines the concepts of proffesional and personal this findding on the Franework educational program for preschool education. The research examines the fulfillment of theindicators set out in the document named Competent Educator of the 21 st Century: ISSA s Definition of Quality Pedagogy, i tis inclusion in preschool education in program Step by Step, Kindergarten Kadaň. It describes the aktivity based on research, which was held in collaboration with the family in Preschool Šafaříkova louny. The Author of this dissertation worked in this kindergarten for several years.
The influence of print media and school on adolescent girls self-concept

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of teenage girl magazines and school on the self-concept of adolescent girls. Theoretical part aims to bring comprehensive review of current scientific research on the topic of development of self-identity during adolescence where self-concept is created with strong emphasis on physical appearance. The thesis subsequently examine possible disorders that can arise from erroneous self-concept. The impact of printed media and especially girl magazines, on components of adolescent girl's self-concept is considered. School and educational system as another important contributor in development of self-concept is reflected in my thesis as well. Experimental aims to explore which areas of self-concept and girls behavior are influenced by girl magazines most significantly and whether educational system takes girl magazines into consideration during educational process. In order to collect necessary data the experiment was concluded with sixty respondents, which were instructed to valuate several body parts before and after the exposition to the picture from girl magazine capturing fashion ideal of woman body. Psychohygiene in School and Application of Relaxation Techniques into the Teaching Process at Elementary School

This bachelor work is dealing with the question of psychohygiene in school and application of relaxation techniques into the teaching process at elementary schools. Mental hygiene here is primarily focused on the pupils. This work defines several basic terms regarding to the topic, for example: psychohygiene, mental health, relaxation techniques etc. Primary intention of this work is refer to the necessity to pursue greater attention to the psychohygiene of the pupils since elementary school, due to keeping their mental health in balance, learning how to relax, preventing mental problems, fatigue or exhaustion. Possible symptoms of mental unease of pupils and reasons why it is necessary to care about their mental health are stated in this work. Finally this work offers some relaxation techniques and practices. Part of this work is also suggestion of several relaxation techniques, which would be usable and suitable at school for integration into the educational process. The position of the Roma pupil in the classroom

Bachelor thesis examines the status of Roma in the Czech pupil school group. The survey was conducted through interviews with Roma students and the students of upper primary school, who testified about their experiences with classmates and teachers. In the research part were observed relationships between teachers and Roma pupils even their potentially different pedagogical approaches to the majority and minority pupils. Data collected from students was supplemented also with two interviews with the teacher, who work with Roma pupils. It was an interview with an educational conseulor and coordinator of the low-threshold club. The aim was to find out how they feel today Roma children in Czech schools and whether, in their opinion, these two groups together can share the common life on a friendly level.
