The Influence of Theatre on a Preschool Child

The aim of work is to highlight the impact of theater on the personality development of children preschool age and education elements of theater. The theoretical part is aimed at the preschool age child's personality and the importance of pre-term for shaping the child's own identity. It is aimed at the game and its importance in the lives of children preschool age and the specificities of the performing arts working in the preschool age child. The practical part is devoted to research and to the method of interviews with teachers and parents of preschool children preschool age and the observation of children from nursery schools in theatrical performances.
French repertoary at the South Bohemia Theatre (1945 - 2003)

As a lead-up this dissertation briefly describes the history of the Southbohemian Theatre. The main subject of this work is the French theatre repertory in the time period between 1945 and 2003. The work is aimed to assess the repertory especially from the point of genre structure (comedy, drama, tragedy), the proportion of French, Czech and other national literature plays and last but not least it considers reactions of critics in respect to the mentioned French plays. Part of the work is also a list of Southbohemian Theatre premiers in years 1945 - 2003 and a list of premiers of French authors.
Marketing strategy of the family theater

The thesis deals with problems of the marketing strategy in the theater sector. The main aim is to analyze, how theatres, which are very specific segment, access to the marketing and mainly to the communication mix. I deal with this issue in the theoretical part. In the practical part I analyze the concrete theater Minor in terms of their marketing mix. In consideration of this analysis of marketing mix, the questionnaire and SWOT analysis I try to formulate my own proposals concerning the change of the present marketing mix of the theater Minor.
Opera and tourism in the Czech Republic

The present Bachelor's thesis seeks to determine the importance of the opera to tourism. The importance is illustrated with the example of The Prague State Opera. In the theoretical part, it analyses tourism in the Czech Republic, in Prague and also cultural tourism. This part also studies the opera genre and its history. The analytical part focuses on the analysis of the role of the opera in our country and the analysis of the selected opera house, its history, present and future and marketing mix, and all is summarised by a SWOT analysis.
Transformation of theatre network in Prague

This thesis is aimed at transformation of theatre network in Prague. It describes history and developement of theatre network in Prague and analyses current situation of theatres established by Prague City Hall and transformated in 2002 to another legal form. The thesis is also focused on theatre funding and grant system of Prague and the comparison of these with the capital city of Germany, Berlin. At the end it presents some possible ways of transformation to another legal form.

The Recruitment of Artistic Workers in the Sphere of Theater/Musical

This project deals with personnel recruitment in (drama)theaters and in musical theaters. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part contains the development of social function of the theater as a culture phenomenon (it focuses also on acting and the relationship between stage and auditorium). The practical part of thesis examines the whole acting branch within the context of Czech republic by combining an understanding of the key aspects of the profession: remuneration, legislation, education, ways of recruitment etc.). There is also a description of other critical concerns of the sphere: the personal work, especially given the contracts, working environment, trade unions as well as motivation, adaptation, conducting, evaluation and control of actors etc. Using a mixed methods approach combining interviews with a production manager, psychologist, 1 quantifiable survey (made by Czech Trade Union of Actors), and interviews (and articles) in media, this study compiles accounts and ways of recruitment as well as other factors of this profession(such as psychological aspects). Results from both the surveys and interviews reflect the sphere in the Czech republic and partly in foreign countries (completed with the findings of an international survey made by EuroFIA, European section of International Federation of Actors).
