Prevention of poor posture and muscle imbalances in pupils in the 1st grade of elementary school - questionnaire survey

Title: Prevention of poor posture and muscle imbalances of pupils in the 1st grade of elementary school - questionnaire survey Objectives: Finding the frequency of use of the means of preventing poor posture and muscle imbalances in elementary schools in the South Bohemian Region. Methods: I used a quantitative method, a questionnaire, which contained 22 questions, to develop the research in the diploma thesis. I sent the questionnaire by e-mail to the management of 250 schools in the South Bohemian Region with a request to resent it to 1st grade teachers. The questionnaire contained closed, semi-closed and open questions. A total of 92 completed questionnaires were returned. I processed the questionnaires into graphs and evaluated the individual answers. Based on the evaluated answers, I answered my research questions. Results: The results of the questionnaire survey showed that 32.6% of teachers in the South Bohemian Region regularly engage in compensatory exercise, which includes stretching and strengthening exercises, every PA lesson. According to my survey, only 29.3% of teachers add physical education moments to their lessons regularly every day. Analysis of conditions for physical education in primary schools in České Budějovice

This diploma thesis analyses physical education conditions at primary schools in České Budějovice. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the development of physical education and sporting facilities in the Czech Republic, the development of education in České Budějovice, the didactic of school physical education and its conditions, and lastly, it deals with the norms for the physical education and sport. The aim of this thesis was to determine and compare the material conditions for the physical education in individual schools. The thesis deals with the schools lying in the current local city territory of České Budějovice. It concerns seventeen state schools and one church school. The obtained information was confronted with the maximum authorized capacity of pupils and the recommended urban indicators, together with the total area of the inside and outside physical education facilities calculated in square meters. The collected data was used to create relevant tables and graphs. This thesis can serve as an overview primarily for the school's establishers, alternatively as a basis for the justification of the sporting facilities renovation or enlargement proposals in individual schools. The aim of the thesis is to identify and compare material conditions for physical education in elementary schools in České Budějovice.
Analysis of conditions for physical education in secondary schools in České Budějovice

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of material conditions for physical education at selected secondary schools in České Budějovice. The theoretical overview of knowledge was obtained after a proper content analysis, which deals with the development of education and physical education, didactics of school physical education and its conditions and an overview of standards for physical education and sport. The aim of the work was to analyze and compare the material conditions for physical education at selected secondary schools located in the cadastral area of České Budějovice. The main information was obtained on the basis of passportization protocols, which were sent to schools in the spring of 2021. The work was targeted at thirteen state schools and one church school. From the obtained information, a detailed analysis was performed and a systematic overview was prepared. subsequently, the data on material and technical conditions were compared with the urban indicator. Tables and graphs were made from this data. This diploma thesis can serve as an overview for the founders of schools, or as a basis for justifying the proposal to expand or reconstruct physical education facilities in these schools.

Title: Using rhythmic gymnastics in school physical education Objective: The main objektive of this bachelor thesis is to find out level of use of gymnastic activities, particularly activities of rhythmic gymnastic, which is part of the RVP for different types of secondary schools in Prague. Methods: In this bachelor thesis has been using elektronic survey. This method was used to collect and evaluate necessary data. Results: School physical education uses elements of rhythmic gymnastics on secondary school in Prague. Teachers of physical education classified exercise with music and exercise with equipment to the school physical education. Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education

Title: Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine and compare the emotional reactions of pupils during the sport lessons on secondary schools. We focus on the seventh and eighth graders, boys and girls at the age from twelve to fourteen. The goal is to statistically process and compare the results between the genders and between schools in urban and rural areas. Determine the reliability and internal consistency of the items from the individual factors in the selected DEMOR questionnaire. Evaluate the determined data in synoptic tables and graphs. Methods: The method of questioning was used in this work. To meet the objectives we analysed the responses obtained from the DEMOR questionnaire. Through this survey, it is possible to record the emotional reactions of the pupils and their perceptions of experiences they had to get information about the climate during physical education lessons. The survey was conducted on twelve secondary schools in rural and urban areas in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results indicate that, positive feelings prevail in current physical education classes. We found only a very slight difference in positive and negative feelings among the schools in rural and urban areas....

Diploma thesis title: Opinions and Attitudes of Unsuccessfully Moving Younger School Age Children toward Physical Activities Aims (goals): The main aim of the diploma thesis was to state opinions and attitudes of unsuccessfully moving younger-school-age children toward physical activities. Another aim was to create an overview of terms regarding the movement failure in the theoretical part. Further aim was to compare the opinions and attitudes of so defined children toward the physical activities to results of Kaplan (2001) and Holický (2011) and to monitor anthropometric characteristics of observed files. Methodology: The work was developed by using the method of Kaplan's research (2011). The research identified unsuccessfully moving children using a motoric testing. With this procedure the files for the subsequent determination of the characteristics of the unsuccessfully moving children were defined. Then, two types of questionnaires were used to research the opinions and attitude of the children toward the physical activities. Results: The results revealed the unsuccessfully moving children do a physical activity three times a week and occasionally. Title: Interest in Athletics and other activities for children aged 12 - 15 years. Objectives: To determine interest in athletics and other activities for children aged 12 to 15 years and to compare the responses of children from selected elementary schools and grammar schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to meet the objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two schools - Elementary School (ZS Jilovska) and Grammar School (Gymnázium Omska), of which neither one focuses on sports. Age group was between 12 to 15 years of age. Total of 359 questionnaires was collected. The main objective of the research was to determine the interest in sports and athletics beyond school physical education classes. In this study we investigated the activities in which children and young people engage in their leisure time; who motivates and supports them in sports, and how they relate to athletics. Results: The results showed that children and youth, despite the availability of today's modern techniques, are still interested in sports. Of the total number of 359 respondents, 23% of children chose sports as one of the leisure activities. In my diploma thesis I will deal with mapping the history of school physical education in Czech lands from established physical exercises in schools to present. The diploma thesis will be divided into individual time periods, in which I will explain how the school's physical education in the given period looked like and what it contained. Approaches to cultivating game performance in sport games at school physical education.

Title: Approaches to cultivation of game performance in sports games in school physical education education. Objectives: The main aim of this work is to compare ways of teaching sports games in physical education lessons at the second stage of primary school. In this comparison we will focus on the impact of these ways of teaching with respect to team gaming performance. Methods: In this work, we used video analysis, from which we derived quantitative and comparative analysis of qualitative findings. We compared the individual results on the basis of the method of teaching used in class. Results: From a comparison of groups undergoing technical and tactical approaches to teaching sports games, we found that groups undergoing tactical approaches to teaching improved more in team performance in goal sports games.
