In the theoretical part i first summarised information in the area of psychology, explained e.g. expressions like motivation, motivating or needs. I explained some of the frequent theories of motivation. The follow-up part was eimed to the identification of reasons of the low ineterst of students in foreign stays and a follow-up survey was curried out among the students of Faculty of Management. It revealed some areas which should be given a long-term special attention.

Motivation Factors of Foreign Tourists towards Travelling to the Czech Republic

This diploma paper is devoted to the fundamental questions concerning motivation for coming to Prague, Czech Republic, the questionnaire analyses further details about incoming tourism. At the beginning of the paper there is a description of the destination CR. Characteristics of the incoming tourism is coming next. Afterwards a theoretical opening to motivation the questionnaire follows. One hundred respondents replied on questions regarding their stay in Prague. These data are then compared with a similar past questionnaire. The motivation for coming to Prague is researched based on these data.

This work is about manager motivation. It is based on the theory from literature and questionnaire filled in by employees who work in selected company. The work contains explanation of single motivation concepts, evolution stages and single motivation theories. It observes how important is motivation not only for top managers but also for all the other workers. The aim of this work is to evaluate manager motivation on single levels of management and to find factors that stimulate managers to higher and better performance.

The subject of this diploma thesis is motivation and stimulation of employees. The theoretical part consists of some basic definitions, motivation theories and concrete ways how to motivate employees. In the practical part these theoretical knowledge are applied to a concrete firm. In the company a research is realized in order to get to know the level of employees` motivation and their work satisfaction. In consequence suggestions are formulated in order to improve main drawbacks.

Application of theories of motivation in project management

This paper is compound of two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part are defined the main terms from the theory of motivation and described general motivation theories and theories of work motivation. There are also mentioned basic forms of organization structures used in project management and shortly described some areas of project management, the biggest part is focused on the advanteges and disadventages of teamwork and it's problems in praxis. In the practical part there are compared described theories from two points of view, the difficulties in their practical use, and the concrete possibilities of their application in different areas of project management. Based on this comparison three theories are chosen as most suitable for regulation of motivational management of employees working in the projects. At the end of this part, there is interview with a project manager.

This bachelor thesis deals with ways of motivation and stimulation of employees, which is one of the main human resources elements in business that every manager and CEO has to observe very closely. To start with, the thesis presents a theoretical outline of the subject that ranges from defining the basic HR terms and theories to a more detailed and specific listing of possible incentive methods. It also describes the progress of the research that was performed. This introduction is followed by the practical part which starts with a brief description of the company in which a research was executed in order to assess the level of motivation and stimulation in this particular company. In conclusion, an analysis of predicted results is presented together with recommended suggestions that are universally applicable in other business units.
