Analysis of Employees Fluctuation

Bachelor´s thesis is focused on evaluation of fluctuation rate in České dráhy, a. s. company and on satisfaction of its employees which is obtained by survey process. First part is focused on concept of fluctuation in general - its causes, positives and negatives. Analytical part is dedicated to calculation of ratio index during period of 2012 – 2014, calculation of fluctuation for years 2010 – 2014 and evaluation of survey. In the last part there are suggestions according to the survey.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose measures to improve the selection process for new employees and also improve working relations in the company Partners, a.s. The main theoretical benefits of this work include the enlargement of the theoretical knowledge of the issue, the extension of the scope of theoretical knowledge and also the possibility of using this work as a starting point for future research. The practical benefits of the work are the improvement of the selection of new employees of the company Partners, a.s. and the improvement of the current state of relations in the workplace. The theoretical methods and models used in this work are CPM, OCAI, 7S and SWOT.

The diploma thesis is focused on employee turnover and retention in a selected company. The theoretical part defines terms that are related to this issue. This part focuses on the causes and consequences of employee turnover, on people resourcing and retention of current employees. This theoretical knowledge is used in the analytical part during analyzing and evaluating the current state of the company. Based on the findings, recommendations that would support effective recruitment and selection process of suitable employees, support retention and reduce employee turnover in the company are provided.

On the basis of literary survey there is analysed and consequently evaluated the current system of evaluation in an engineering company. The analytical part contains also the staff opinion research concerning the current system of evaluation. On the basis of background research there is elaborated an improvement suggestion of the evaluation system, which aims to contribute to more effective way of leading the job performance.
