Farmers perception of anti-erosion practices on arable land

(in english): Modern agriculture faces soil erosion as one of its problems in the Czech Republic. Soil conservation practices are implemented to prevent erosion. This thesis reports on perception of the soil conservation practices by farmers themselves. Hypothesis of the research is based on declaration of organic farming in the Czech Republic: to specifically protect natural sources. Main research question is: Is there a difference in perception of soil conservation practices between certified organic farmers and farmers using conventional methods? As a concept to examine perception, this thesis uses the theory of planned behavior developed by Icek Ajzen. Results show that farmers' attitudes towards soil conservation practices in general are negative. Their attitudes can be explained by intermingling beliefs about erosion, the agriculture subsidy system and own soil quality. Specific practices are evaluated by other than anti-erosion effects. The farmers do not perceive social pressure from their peers to adopt soil conservation practices and their perceived control over adoption of a practice is low. Pupils' homework

This thesis engages in the theme of pupil's home preparation for basic school. Finding the pupils', parents' and teachers' attitudes to homework is the purpose of this thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on relationship between the family and the school, especially parents' involvement in this problem. Hereafter we occupy with home preparation as organize form of teaching. We describe types and forms of homework. The empirical part we address the attitudes of pupils, attitudes of parents and attitudes of children to homework. The main research questions are importance, types, forms, individualization, reviews, failure of homework. Further we are interested in these attitudes on the first and second grade at the basic school. The research is qualitative-quantitative composed. We pursue to the theme from the point of parents and pupils in qualitative part, the teachers in quantitative part. For this research we used questionnaire and semi-structured interview. It is the form of mixed design.
Prestige of School Geography in Czechia

This thesis deals with the question of prestige of subject Geography. Its aim is to explain how much prestige university students attach to Geography, with the help of semantic differential method, and where they place this term in the semantic field of terms. The research was conducted with questionnaire survey which focused on the comparison between the perception of Geography and other subjects, and at the same time the comparison of value judgement of Geography students and students of different programmes. The first part of the thesis explains the key words and the methods of the research into prestige conducted so far. They were analysed and on the basis of this analysis notional parameters of prestige attached to a subject were set. The following part is the main part. It consists of the questionnaire survey, including the evaluation and interpretation of the results, which is followed by suggestions for improvement of the prestige of Geography, with the use of chosen marketing tools. Reputation and popularity of Parkour in Czech Republic

Title of the work: Reputation and popularity of parkour in the Czech Republic. Objectives: The bachelor thesis researches a chosen group of people. The main objective of this work is to find out if people know about the sports activity called parkour, what experience do they have with this activity and what is their stance on the issue. Achieved results might prove useful to coaches in improving people's stances towards parkour and introducing them to this sports activity. Methods: The bachelor thesis has been done using questionnaire survey. It was published in an electronic form through various social networks. In addition, an interview was made with one of the first traceurs, Tomáš. Results: The results show that parkour is becoming more and more popular. People are interested in this sports activity and their opinions about parkour are rather positive than negative. Changes in Family Behaviour in the Czech Republic since 1990s

The aim of this work is to analyze the changes in family behavior in Czech Republic especially using the framework of the second demographic transition. Attention was focused on the analysis of attitudes towards new form partnerships and childbearing and development reproductive behavior in Czech Republic. In this analysis using data of two surveys ISSP (1994, 2002, 2012) and EVS (1990, 1999, 2008). The trajectories of changes in Czech Republic were compared with trajectories of transformation in selected post-communist countries. Different trajectories of transformation have been identified for postcommunist countries. The results in many aspects suggested Czech Republic has been approaching the North-western European countries. However, important the Czech Republic seems to be much further in the process of the second demographic transition in comparison with many post- communist countries. Consistency of answering and change of attitudes

5 ABSTRACT This bachelor's thesis follows the ongoing doctoral thesis of Mgr. Barbora Balková in the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in Klecany. The NIMH research is concerned with broad personality feature as a part of personality traits that can be psychologically meaningful and measurable, and part of the integrity of the personality. My thesis is therefore divided into two parts; theoretical part and empirical part. Theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and their changing, consistency in answering and also with personality traits of an individual. Empirical part is following up to knowledge from the theoretical part and it is concerned with correlations between consistency in answering and changing of attitudes. Another aims of this part in this bachelor's thesis were to find if there is a relation between changing of attitudes and personality trait (Openness) and if there is a relation between consistency in answering and personality trait (Conscientiousness). For measuring my respondent's feedback I used the following methods: personality test BFI-44, attitude scale and method to measure the consistency in answering which was developed by experts in National Institute of Mental Health. Attitude of generation Z to Czech documentary audiovisual production from years 2000-2020

This diploma thesis deals with the attitude of the Z generation to Czech documentary films and series. The aim of the work is to describe the common tendencies of the whole generation Z or its subgroups within their attitude to Czech documentary production. The research method for determining the attitude of this generational cohort is a questionnaire survey. In the beginning the Z generation is characterized, its formants and basic characteristics are analyzed. One of the subchapters also focuses especially on the Czech generation Z. In the theoretical part space is also devoted to documentary production, specifically its characteristics, typology and history of documents. The genre of the document is presented both in the global context and also in the Czech environment in the work. The practical part describes the research which has the form of a questionnaire survey. The results are presented for each evaluated question separately while at the end there is a collective summary with the most important and interesting findings from the research.
The reflection of war and notion of duty and dignity in A.L.Tennyson's The Charge of the Light Brigade in comparison with selected poems of The First World War

The main theme of this thesis is English war poetry. The thesis refers to two particular wars, the Crimean (1853-1856) and World War One (1914-1918), and analyzes their reflection in English poetry. By doing so, it compares the war poems from these periods and inspects the writers' messages behind them. The thesis aims to scrutinize how the depiction of war had changed through time, alongside with the reasons affected it. In terms of structure, the theoretical part describes the different contexts (historical, cultural, and literary) of the chosen poems, while the practical part features scrutiny of these works.
