Sexuality among people with disabilities

The bachelor thesis deals with a topic of sexuality of people with disabilities. At the begging, sexuality is introduced as a part of a global phenomenon of health, including brief description of ways of it's realization. Social barriers, which disallow fulfilling sexual needs of people with disabilities and their intervention, are also mentioned in a context with social model of handicap. The aim of the thesis was to map reachable opportunities of fulfilling sexual needs for people with handicap and their specificity. The empirical part of the thesis investigated ways of realization of sexuality, it's aspects, sexual confidence and sexual depression. Sexuality scale was used for this part.
Analyse of Protected Work-rooms with Regard to their Rise in Civic Sector and Trading Companies

Presented thesis deals with theme of protected employment of people with disabilities as one of the posssible ways of their integration into mainstream society. Unemployment, potential negative impacts of work in protected conditions and the risk of social exclusion are in this thesis presented as a social problem, in the solution of which are to some extent involved participants of all three sectors - the state as well as organizations of private profit- and non-profit sector. The theoretical part describes the current system of employment support for people with disabilities in our country and its effectiveness, and analyses the potential impact on lives of this group of citizens. The thesis also includes research conducted within protected workrooms, operated by the civic sector organizations and business companies. Its main objective is to determine whether and how the examined employers contribute to development of skills, vocational qualification and motivation of the disabled citizens for a possible moving into the open labor market and the mainstream society.
The Informal Care for People with Disabilities in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the system of the informal long-term care for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic. The first aim of the diploma thesis is to describe this non-conceptually solved issue and confirm the European prevalent tendencies to refamilization and deinstitutionalization in the Czech Republic. Author tries to identify the main problems within the system of informal long-term care through interviews conducted with informal carers and workers from selected social services. The diploma thesis emphasizes the target population of informal carers, who face many obstacles, whether it is the cooperation between the systems of formal and informal care, lack of finances, deterioration of quality of life or insufficient recognition of the status of informal carers from the society and the state. Informal carers are presented on the basis of theoretical perspectives as well as the results of conducted research as the invisible stakeholders of the Czech public policy.

Theoretical part contains brief characteristics of SLD, forms of education for pupils with SLD and legislation that regulates such education. Practical part presents findings from qualitative research using interview as the research method. The Employment of People with Disabilities

This bachelor thesis is focused on the employment of people with disabilities, pri-marily on financing such people in the labour market. The main aim of the work is to analyse current issues of financing the social program regarding disabled people. The theoretical part of the thesis presents basic terms and principles of employment and makes references to the Employment act. The provided information is meant to help to understand the situation of the employment of disabled people. The practical part of the thesis examines financing of people with disabilities after the change of the Employment act in the year 2012. The Data for the comparison was provided by an employer of a chosen sheltered workshop, with whom a further coopera-tion was established. A description of a composition of the workshop production-line team as well as the rights and obligations of the employers is presented. Comparison analysis of financial sources for people with disabilities follows.
Psychosocial Aspects of Changes in Human Mobility

The diploma thesis - "Psychosocial Aspects of Changes in Human Mobility," focuses on family and siblings of people with physical disabilities, as well as on finding the appropriate support for these families in their specific situation. It particularly deals with people suffering cerebral palsy and spina bifida and possibilities to support the families with disabled individuals in the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on theoretical knowledge gained from publications and laws, hands-on experience acquired in service as a personal care assistant, as well as own research project on siblings of people with physical disabilities. In the first part of the thesis, the author gives basic information about classifications, diagnostics and manifestations of cerebral palsy and spina bifida with major influence of the change in human mobility. In addition, the thesis focuses on the relationship of both parents and siblings, to the handicapped child. The next part is devoted to a research project called "Life with a Sibling with Physical Disability". Title: Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities Aims: The aim of the thesis is to prepare an argumentation for creating a professional centre offering outdoor activities to people with disabilities; to explore current situation within the field of outdoor activities; to assess the interest of workers in the field of education of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities; to assess the interest of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities. Attitudes of children of young school age to integrate people with disability

Title: Attitudes of children of young school age to integrate people with disability. The main topic of the thesis is the attitudes of younger pupils towards integrating their peers with disabilities. The thesis also briefly discusses the attitudes of families and teachers with regards to the issue. The theoretical basis which the thesis builds on is defining of the term "inclusion" and the related legislature. Issues of physical disability, personality of a person with a disability and societal views and approaches to disabilities are also explored. Specific characteristics of inclusive education are mentioned. The goal of the thesis is to map the attitudes of pupils towards inclusion, their feelings about being in a classroom where inclusive education is practiced and their way of perceiving their teacher`s work.
