attributes of corporeality
Lukešová, Eva ; Bartlová, Milena (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
My thesis titled Attributes of corporeality is a continuation of my thinking on the topic of identity. Now I approach identity as a category, not as an identity that belongs to a particular person. I consider the question of how is identity shaped in a postmodern, globalized world and how is it related to corporeality. My answer is based on the reality I know, on the current state of society. However, the intention of my work is above all to express my idea, which is rather a utopian scenario than anything else.
Motivation for migration of young adults from the Moravian-Silesian region to the capital city of Prague
Němcová, Tereza ; Uherek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Grygar, Jakub (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the motivation of migration of young adults from the Moravian- Silesian region to the capital city of Prague. With the help of qualitative research, the thesis tries to present the motivation to migrate as an outcome of the current situation in the Moravian- Silesian Region. It is primarily a statement not only about individual decisions, but also about the impact of structural problems, inequalities, and socio-economic differences in Czech society on mobility and on the dynamics of demographic development. Using the examples of individual respondents, the thesis shows a certain specific life path typical for the children of the so-called "Husák children" generation from the Moravian-Silesian region. These life trajectories of the selected individuals are strongly connected with the idea of social success and the culture of migration that individuals adopt from their environment. Motivation to migrate is framed in the paper primarily using push and pull factors. The research is based on a series of in-depth episodic interviews with students and graduates of Prague universities. The main finding of the thesis is the crucial role of opportunities, in the areas of education, employment and the acquisition of social capital in the form of contacts, which functioned as the...

Novotný, Petr ; Malý, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Analysis of Qualitative and Quantitative Characteristics of Pre-match Warm- up in Elite Football Teams. Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis was to analyze pre-match warm-ups in elite football teams from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives. Methods: The research sample consisted of top European football teams, namely Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, and Manchester City. Data was collected and retrospectively evaluated through video analysis. A total of four pre-match warm-ups were recorded during UEFA Champions League matches. The individual recordings were processed and categorized based on predetermined evaluation criteria. The selected categories were activation exercises, preparatory exercises, game-related exercises, small-sided games, and speed exercises. Evaluation criteria were established for each category, including total exercise time, number of exercises, and average number of repetitions per player. The criteria were compared among the different football teams. Results: The obtained results revealed both common qualitative and quantitative characteristics. Activation exercises emerged as the most numerous and complex category. Based on the recorded durations of the warm-ups, it was evident that the most time was devoted to this category compared to...
Car dependence in Czechia: the example of municipalities with extended power Černošice and Kralovice
Dvořáček, Jan ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Zevl, Jiří-Jakub (referee)
Car dependence is a problem that has been closely linked to transport and land use planning since the mass spread of motoring in the second half of the 20th century. Excessive or total dependence on the car has many negative impacts, especially environmental and social ones. The aim of the study was to investigate the extent of car dependence in the Czech Republic in selected areas representing typical problem areas (periphery and suburbia), to identify and characterize the most dependent places in them. For this purpose, a network analysis of public transport accessibility carried out using a transport model of pedestrian accessibility in a GIS environment and the calculation of an indicator of car dependence were used. The results show that in the Czech environment in the study areas, the problem is more strongly related to small, mostly without the status of independent municipality rather than suburban neighbourhoods, which are most frequently mentioned in the Anglo-American literature. A very poor situation was also identified in what were formerly purely recreational second homes, but which are now partly permanently inhabited. Key words: car dependence, public transport, mobility, network analysis
Population mobility in the circular economy
TESAŘOVÁ, Marie
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the state of mobility of the population in everyday commuting to work and school at the level of regions of the Czech Republic in the aspect of circular economy. Secondary data mainly from the yearbooks of the Ministry of Transport and Tourism, the Czech Statistical Office, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, etc. were used for the research. The professional assumption of circular economy in the transport issue was drawn from the documents of the European Union and the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. It is on the basis of the EU documents that an "ideal region" that meets the EU requirements for circularity in transport was drawn up for the purposes of the analysis. From the above sources, the data was analysed using statistical methods and a "mobility circularity degree indicator" was compiled for the purpose of this thesis. The indicator describes and evaluates the level of mobility in each region of the Czech Republic and its result is evaluated. Finally, the findings are followed by proposals for measures to maintain or improve the state of mobility in the regions.
The Compact City in Theory and in Practice
Čuntalová, Karolína ; Májek, Jan (referee) ; Tichý, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the concept of a compact city in theory and its practical application to a selected housing estate of 500 apartments in Bratislava. The aim of the thesis is to define the concept of a compact city and analyse the selected area based on a methodology developed by the city of Bratislava for analysing public spaces that primarily adhere to the principles of a compact city. The outcome of the thesis will be an assessment of whether the 500-apartment locality is a suitable example of a compact area in Bratislava.
European Mobility from the Perspective of European Integration
Šubrt, Michael ; Lukešová, Anna (advisor) ; Kasáková, Zuzana (referee)
This bachelor thesis examines the institutional development of European mobility in the European Communities and the European Union. The phenomenon of mobility is understood as freedom of movement for workers, which evolved into the freedom of movement for all European Union citizens. The key research question is formulated as: "Where and when might the origin of the European mobility be found?" and "How has it evolved since?" That makes this thesis a historical case study focused on one particular European policy. To explain the development, this thesis analyses primary sources (e.g. the European legislation) and secondary literature. The historical section is divided into six subchapters, which describe the development in particular periods: before the establishment of the European Economic Community, after the Treaties of Rome, after the Single European Act, after the establishment of the European Union by the Maastricht Treaty, after the Amsterdam Treaty and finally after the Treaty of Lisbon reforms. In the final discussion, the ascertained knowledge is confronted with some of the European integration theories (e.g. the theory of major historical breaks or neofunctionalism).

Kolářová, Markéta ; Nováková, Petra (advisor) ; Pianelli Jahodová, Ivana (referee)
Author: Markéta Kolářová Thesis supervisor: Mgr. Petra Nováková Title: The influence of mobility on self-sufficiency of patients after proximal femur fracture This thesis deals with proximal femur fractures and their impact on self-sufficiency and mobility of patients with this diagnosis. This trauma is very common, and because of the increasing incidence, high morbidity and mortality, negative impact on self-sufficiency and quality of life and high economic cost, it is a worldwide problem that needs to be solved. An important part of taking care of these patients is rehabilitation which includes physiotherapy. The thesis has got two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes the characteristics of proximal femur fractures and describes their influence on the mobility and the relation between mobility and self-sufficiency. The practical part includes 3 case studies of patients with the diagnosis of a proximal femur fracture. Objectives: The main objective of the theoretical part is to make clear characteristics of proximal femur fractures and to summarize the issue of loss and recovery of mobility and self- sufficiency in relation with these fractures. The main objective of the practical part is to describe the effect of a physiotherapeutic intervention on mobility and...
The caravanning - a specific form of tourism from Czech users' point of view
Tučanová, Daniela ; Fialová, Dana (advisor) ; Lochman, Josef (referee)
Caravanning is currently on the rise in Czechia. The aim of this thesis is to verify its position in tourism, analyze the factors that influence users, and specify popular destinations for users. The theoretical background consists of research conducted abroad, geography of tourism, and social geography. The research method used is a questionnaire survey, which was shared among groups on social networks focusing on caravanning. The research results show that Czech and Slovak users of motorhomes or caravans use these vehicles mobilely, mostly visit Italy and southern Moravia, and the most important factor for them is the ability to choose and be independent. The thesis can serve as a source of information for tourism organizations, users of motorhomes or caravans, or for further research. Keywords: caravanning, mobility, tourism, motivation, motorhome, caravan, Czechia

This master's thesis examines the topic of the structure and mobility of the spine in the teaching of biology in the eighth grade of elementary schools and the third grade of multi-year grammar schools (Gymnasiums). The aim of the thesis is to identify misconceptions held by students within the selected topic. The first part is theoretical. At the start, I analyse curriculum documents and define the term misconception, then I provide a brief description of the anatomy of the spine and trunk and the definition of mobility and in the last section I deal with musculoskeletal disorders, especially the VDT - poor posture and its prevention. The second part of the thesis is practical. Here, I first discuss the methodology of textbook analysis and the questionnaire survey. The aim of the textbook analysis is to determine the scope of the material on the musculoskeletal system in the textbooks, focusing on the topic of spinal structure and mobility. The introductory analysis is followed by a questionnaire compiled to identify students' misconceptions about the given topic. In the second section of the practical part, I evaluate the results of the textbook analysis and the questionnaire survey. The skeletal and muscular system as well as the structure of the spine and disorders of the musculoskeletal system...
