Hollasová, Kateřina ; Fořterová, Petra (advisor) ; Panská, Šárka (referee)
Title: Proposal of sport programme with focus on athletic for preschool education Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to develop a movement program focused on athletics for preschool children and to test it in a kindergarten. Methods: This is a case study that is descriptive in nature. We used testing to provide input on the motor abilities and skills of preschool children. In addition, the test battery served us to test the effect of an applied movement program focused on athletic skills. We selected the tests from the DMT and MOBAK test battery - 10 m run, long jump from a standing position, depth of forward bend, and target throw. In addition, scaling was used to assess the ball throwing technique. The last method used was participant observation during the implementation of the movement program. Results: The movement program focused on athletic skills was divided into 10 sessions of 45 minutes each and each session included 4 parts: busy, preparatory, main and final. The effectiveness of the program was verified by a selected test battery. Significant improvement was observed in the long jump test from the spot and in the 10 m run. Similarly, there was a significant improvement in the technical performance of the shot put. There was not as much improvement in the flexibility test and the...

Title: Visual motor coordination training for preschool children Objectives: To create and implement 3-month program Owl and subsequently evaluate its impact on school maturity, visual attention and final motor skills in preschool children. Methods: Mixed research in the form of a quasi-experiment was realized on a group of 26 children aged 5-7 years from kindergarten in Prague, divided into an intervention (n=13) and comparative (np=13) group. Intervention in the intervention group consisted of participation in 10-20 minutes sessions once a week, focused on visuomotor coordination: eye gymnastics followed by rhymes, elements from the Feldenkrais method, games and exercises focused on attention and eye-hand coordination. These exercises were then repeated 2-3 times a week with the teachers. Data collection was done in the form of an initial anamnestic questionnaire and a pre/post-test containing: MABC-2 part of manual dexterity, School maturity orientation test and Visual attention test. Finally, a feedback questionnaire was given to the teachers of the intervention class in the kindergarten. Data were processed by program Statistica and Microsoft Excel. Results: After the programme, the intervention group improved statistically significantly in visual attention but not in fine motor skills and...
The effect of therapeutic intervention on the functionality of ankle joint in long jumpers
ZÁHOROVÁ, Adéla
This bachelor's thesis deals with the effect of therapeutic intervention on the functionality of the ankle joint in long jumpers. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part first describes the anatomy of the ankle joint and the description of the myofascial structures of the ankle joint. Furthermore, the biomechanics of ankle joint movement are summarized here, and then the long jump itself and the training process of jumpers are described. At the end of the theoretical part, the concept of Movement Assessment Technologies (M.A.T), which was used for functional testing, is described. The practical part consists of qualitative type research. The research group consisted of 3 probands aged 18-22, who already specialize exclusively in the long jump. Therapies took place individually for two months at regular intervals. All probands completed their regular training schedule without restriction during the study. I used the technique of interview, aspect, palpation and testing to obtain data. The objectives of the work were twofold. The first goal was to propose a physiotherapeutic procedure suitable for improving the functionality of the ankle joint in long jumpers. The second goal was the proposal to implement the suggested physiotherapy of the ankle joint into the athlete's training process. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the goals of the bachelor's thesis were met. I proved that the proposed therapy is suitable for improving the function of the ankle joint and it is realistic to add it to the training process of an athlete.

The influence of the Family Constellation Method on the family system
Heřmánková, Alena ; Drahoňovský, Jan (advisor) ; Cooke, Dana (referee)
Family constellations are a psychosocial method that focuses on uncovering and resolving hidden dynamics and behavior patterns in family systems, enabling clients to gain new perspectives on their problems and create new paths to solutions. This method is used to address various issues, such as family conflicts, relationship problems, depression, anxiety disorders, and others. However, despite its potential benefits, family constellations do not receive enough attention from the general public, which was one of the factors that led me to choose this topic. This bachelor's thesis examines the impact of the family constellations method on the functioning of the family system, with a main focus on the statements of active participants in this method. A qualitative research investigation was conducted in the form of a semi-structured interview, aiming to determine the subjective perceived impacts of the family constellations method on the functioning of the family system. Specifically, the study aimed to explore what this method brings to the participants in relation to their family system. The method of comparison and contrast was used for the analysis of statements. The research findings demonstrated that the family constellations method has a positive impact on the functioning of the family system....

Stress has become a very important scientific topic worldwide. Physical activities in nature can be an effective way to reduce stress. Objectives: The aim of this master's thesis was to investigate the effect of team building outdoor games on salivary cortisol levels. Methods: The thesis was conducted as an experimental study with a crossover design. 10 participants completed three different experimental conditions - teambuilding outdoor games, indoor games, and passive rest. A saliva sample was collected before and immediately after the activities. The salivary cortisol levels were used as the main dependent variable. Comparative statistical methods and generalized linear regression models were used in the data analysis. Results: Salivary cortisol levels not significantly decreased after both types of games; however, increased significantly after the passive rest (p = 0.017). Generalized linear regression models revealed statistically significant effects of both team-building outdoor games as well as indoor games compared to passive rest. Conclusions:...
The Influence of the Korean War on the U.S. Foreign Policy toward the Indochina and Vietnam Wars
Špes, Jakub ; Soukup, Jaromír (advisor) ; Ludvík, Jan (referee)
This thesis examines the impact of the Korean War on U.S. foreign policy toward the wars in Indochina and Vietnam during the Cold War. The Korean War, which took place from 1950 to 1953, had profound and indelible consequences for U.S. foreign policy, particularly toward Southeast Asia, and the experience and erudition gained in the Korean War influenced the United States' approach to the wars in Indochina and Vietnam from 1954 to 1975. For this thesis, I have drawn on scholarly literature and analysis of official U.S. State Department documents published in a compilation entitled Foreign Relations of the United States. The thesis is divided into three main parts: in the first I describe terms associated with overall American foreign policy during the second half of the twentieth century, in the second I briefly summarize the Korean War, and in the third I discuss Indochina, Vietnam, and lessons from Korea. The thesis concludes with the verdict that the Korean War had a profound impact on U.S. foreign policy toward the wars in Indochina and Vietnam.
