OLOMOUC – Densification Urbaine – Urban Consolidation

The aim of the project is to complete the city on two levels. Within the meaning of densifying the development, i.e. filling the now empty site with a building that exploits the potential of the site, and of complementing the functional structure of the city with a building that would bring new opportunities for the city. The undevelopment of the site is based on the historical context. Previously, the site was the place of the fortification system of the city of Olomouc and the Morava River was used as a natural barrier; after the abolition of the fortification system, most of the vacant strip was built over, but some empty spaces still remain, as it is in the case with the site. At the same time, the city of Olomouc has basically no city architect and all efforts for architectural debate, exhibitions or development are scattered in a decentralised way. The city also has a very small elementary art school, which is out of proportion to the music school located near the location of my design. The project therefore aims to meaningfully complete to city.

Selfmanagement of headmaster of art school

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of school manager's self-management in the art schools area. Thesis aim was to ascertain what the art schools' headmasters in Pilsen and South Bohemia region reckon as part of self management, what influences their self management and how is this influence displayed in their professional and personal lives. Partial aim of this work was to find out if the headmasters educate themselves in the self management area and if yes in what way. In the theoretical part the work comes out of the human resource management and working performance area. It deals with the headmasters' competences and roles, self management, time management, delegation, burnout syndrome, stress techniques and life balance. It elaborately deals with the emotional intelligence and headmaster's career stages in connection with the self management area is influenced by them. The practise brings research results, which was realized by research and additional interviews. The research found out very interesting discoveries from the pedagogical-art schooling, from the working and personal lives of crucial persons in this educational sphere - art schools headmasters. The experiences and in some cases statements about serious consequences of not asserting the self management mechanisms are recorded...

Primary Architecture / Teaching architecture to the younger generation

Due to the complexity of the whole current educational system, the proposal creates an alternative form of teaching aesthetic perception - art and architecture, a kind of intermediate stage, which joins the existing curricula of compulsory education of children as a supplement or extension. The proposal is therefore a space - an artistic institution, focusing on the education of the young generation from the ranks of the general public. The cooperation of the School of Architecture with educational institutions creates an environment where the student emerges from the academic community and educates the general public. On the contrary, the public enters the environment of the Faculty of Architecture and offers architects a new perspective.

Rebuilding the house

Diploma thesis was prepared it the level of a project documentation. The theme is the project of the rebuilding of the former school house from 1890 in the village Třešť, which is currently unused. The building will newly merge premises of the library, information center, multifunctional hall, elementary art school and exhibition space. The project solves the rebuilding of the existing building, including rehabilitation of wet masonry by chemical grouting and a new extension of sanitary facilities and escape route.

Primary school of art of Jindřich Jindřich in Domažlice (history and present)

This thesis is dedicated to the primary art school of Jindřich Jindřich in Domažlice. It is divided to five chapters. Firstly, it speaks about the town of Domažlice, especially its history and progress. Secondly, there will be described musical life in Domažlice and its surrounding. Third chapter is focused on the life of the local ethnographer Jindřich Jindřich and his asset to the region of Chodsko. In the next chapter the history of monastic church and other monastic buildings, where the musical school is situated today is portrayed. Follows the description of the musical school in general as well as its particular fields of study.

Art School "Mája"

The subject of this project is a new building of art school in the administrative area Brno – Královo Pole. It is a stand-alone building with two above-ground floors. The building is made of brick from (lime-sand blocks). The ceiling above the 1st floor is made of reinforced concrete, the ceiling above 2nd floor is made of pre-stressed reinforced concrete roof panels of spiroll type. The roofs are designed as a flat surcharge. The walls are double-layered, contact-insulated with fiber-cement cladding. The object is designed according to Feng Shui and as barrier-free for people with reduced mobility and orientation.

Discoursive space between gallery and school

This study examines the function of art education at the level of selected European and Czech national documents, at the level of Prague 1 galleries and museums that offer education programmes for school groups at the level of the individual education employees of museums, galleries and of primary graphic and plastic art school in Prague 1. The content of the thesis is based on data collected and analyzed using grounded theory of the qualitative research. The research data pass through the entire text and show the links between themselves and connections with theoretical texts. The text of the thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is focused on theoretical and research findings. Here are the resources of the whole work contained, statements about art and education from the perspective of different discourses, creation of gallery and museum education, creation of gallery and museum education, the current trends in the gallery and museum education, position of gallery and museum educators, the competency of educators, the methodology, research results and evaluation of research probe. Art school in Brno

Earlier study in the subject AG32 gave form to the following bachelor’s thesis which further develops the study into the level of Building permit documentation and Documentation for execution of the project. The theme of this work is Art school in Brno. Location Kraví hora, Brno, Veveří was selected as a building site for this theme. The concept was considerably affected by the shape of current terrain, because it is trying to copy the terrain by cascading the arrangement of the buildings. Near the given site, there are private gardens on the North, tennis courts on the South, Building Z of the Faculty of civil enginering on the East and on the West, there is the Observatory and Planetarium located in the public park called Kraví hora. The main idea of this project, was to create masses using geometry - creating three objects - with the shape of circular sectors, which came up by intersecting a few different circles end ellipses. An arrangement of these objects with the amphitheater in the middle realy enhance the cascade terrain. The primary function of the Art school is educational with added secondary cultural-educational function for there is a multifunctional auditorium and an art gallery.
