Restitution under the Act on Land and transferability of substitutional plots in theory and judicial practice
Barejška, Tomáš ; Elischer, David (advisor) ; Zvára, Michael (referee)
Restitution according to the Land Act is a legal-economic process leading to returning the previously confiscated land to the entitled persons. In case the return is not possible, this Act sets the procedure for obtaining compensation for the land not returned accordingly. The restitution process is the result of a society-wide effort to alleviate certain historical grievances of the previous regime. The Thesis provides a comprehensive description and analysis of the development of the institute of nationalisation (expropriation) from the after-White Mountain period until the end of the communist regime in 1989. The reasons leading to expropriation are explained in the Thesis, as well as the impacts of expropriation and subsequent social and legal reaction to the changes that occurred. Within the period after 1989, the development of the restitution process, its individual phases and the state's overall approach to the issue are analysed and subjected to criticism. It is examined what effects the implementation of specific measures has had up to now and whether systemic or only parametric changes of the entire process continue to occur. In the practical part of the work, the focus is on the transferability of replacement land as an attribute of immovable property, which is scrutinized by the...

The thesis first theoretically defines the concept of "in-store marketing communication" and its main functions. Then there are presented modern trends and technologies related to marketing activities at the point of sale, along with cosmetics industry and its current trends. The next part of the work focuses on introduction of Notino and its stores. The research is carried out using a qualitative research method, more precisely individual interviews. The data, which were obtained from interviews with visitors as well as store employees are subsequently analyzed and interpreted. With the help of the data, the given branch is then presented in more detail together with the selected digitalizations.
The Expansion of Czech Capital to Serbia in 1900-1918 and its Political Aspects: The Case of Pražská úvěrní banka
Arlt, Jan ; Šístek, František (advisor) ; Velek, Luboš (referee)
This work is devoted to the export of Czech financial capital by nationally Czech banks to the Kingdom of Serbia between 1900 and 1918 and the political aspects of their activities there. The political side of these activities, which was strongly determined by the geopolitical circumstances of the time, especially the deteriorating relations between Austria-Hungary and Serbia and the subsequent outbreak of the First World War, is examined here in the case of the most successful Czech financial institution operating in this Balkan state, Pražská úvěrní banka. The involvement of this institution in political activities, which include, among other things, the connections of the representatives of its branch in Belgrade to the so-called "Serbophile" movement, and their consequences after the occupation of Serbia by the armies of the Central Powers during the First World War, are illustrated here mainly by the interesting personal stories of specific actors of capital export and members of the Czech emancipation movement.

Direct synthesis of Fe and Zr forms of the UZM-9 zeolite by isomorphous substitution was studied. Adsorption studies examined CO2 on different cation forms, while the texture properties were studied by nitrogen adsorption. Prepared zeolites were further characterised by XRPD, SEM, ICP-MS, and FT-IR. Results show significantly improved crystallization times, enhanced texture properties, and the effects of using various sources of reactants. Isomorphous substitution of Fe atoms was unsuccessful, while showing promising results for Zr. Various ion-exchanged forms of UZM-9 zeolite were shown to have their adsorption...
The Ostalgie phenomenon and its manifestations in Czech and German television series
Kočárková, Kateřina ; Soukup, Martin (advisor) ; Štoll, Martin (referee)
Ostalgia is a phenomenon that manifests itself in all areas of human activity - in fashion, culture, music, goods available on the market, or simply in the memories of human beings. This thesis mainly focuses on the cultural level, specifically on television series. The theoretical part is dedicated to collective memory and the culture of remembrance, two aspects that are very closely related to the cultural level. Ostalgic reminiscence often emphasizes material goods, as if the reminiscers were trying to preserve something from a time in which they will never find themselves again - except through memories. Here, I find it interesting to link the phenomenon of ostalgia with the so-called memory of things, defined by Jan Asmann and further analyzed in more depth by anthropologist Arjun Appadurai. By using objects from the times of socialism, people preserved at least part of their earlier lives; memories stored in these objects can be recalled even after several years. The phenomenon of ostalgia will be specifically examined in two Czech and two German television series. The Czech examples are represented by the TV series Vyprávěj and Svět pod hlavou produced by Czech Television. The two German series Ku'damm and Deutschland 83 were chosen to represent an approximate equivalent to the Czech...
