Work satisfaction of nursery school teachers

The work focuses on the selection and further study of factors concerning work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. The theoretical part of the final bachelor's thesis presents findings from literature review concerning definitions, signs, determinants and theories of work satisfaction and related subjects. Consequently the work concentrates on the analysis of real life assets related to kindergarten teachers' work performance. A questionnaire survey in the practical part of this work identifies the most explanatory factors of work satisfaction. Another focus is on the importance of other variables influencing the general work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers. Levels of current work satisfaction of kindergarten teachers are then compared among the three regions within the Czech republic. The survey results together with theoretical findings may provide more detailed point of view under the given conditions as well as serve to managers with topics for consideration and resposible approach to this subject. Transforming the Concept and Perspective of the Czech Kindergarten

The aim of the thesis was to systematically record and analyse the transformation of the Czech kindergarten after 1989. To understand the transformation of the kindergarten based on the testimonies of kindergarten teachers with a long touch of practice and to create a coherent continuity of ideas that allow to understand the transformation of Czech pre- school education. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research parts. The theoretical part describes the changes that the education and care of the little ones has undergone over the century. In the introductory chapter, the author briefly discusses the beginnings of preschool education. Knowing that this period is too far removed from the present and from education as a whole, but the central roots and historical transformations of preschool education are so central to the thesis that the author briefly mentions them. After the events of November 1989, Czech preschool was also undergoing transformational changes. The main principle of the transformation of Czech education became a non-directive, partnership approach to the child, based on understanding, respect and tolerance, which is the subject of the last chapter of the theoretical part. Architectural design of nursery schools in the context of the current concept of pre-primary education in the Czech Republic

This Diploma thesis is dealing with problematics of architectural solution of working space within kindergarten in context with conception of contemporary preschool education in the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to analyze architectural and spatial conditions within selected kindergartens in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part is focused on preschool child, kindergarten, laws regulating architectural space solutions in kindergartens in the Czech Republic, and architectural and spatial parameters for kindergartens. The goal of thesis' practical part is to analyze how different spatial dispositions affect ongoing educational processes in examined kindergartens. Practical part states objectives of the thesis, research questions and methodological tools, applied during research phase of the thesis. It focuses on selected faculty kindergartens with different disposition solutions and analyzes their spatial disposition in relationship to educational processes and child's play. Then analyzes and compares different points of view to the problematics from selected professional educationalist and architects. A choice of books for children according to the kindergarden teachers

Diploma thesis focuses on the question of how kindergarten teachers choose books for preschool children, what kind of books and main factors which influence their choice, e.g. cheap books, collectors' campaigns or interactive books. The theoretical part describes the development of a preschool child with respect to the reading, literary genres and types of books suitable for preschool children. It also points out publishing houses that publish children's books, awards for high-quality children's literature, and, last but not least, the media which influence the selection of books. It also explains the importance of support and development of reading literacy for a pre-school child. The aim of this work was to describe the process of selection of children's literature by kindergarten teachers and to find out main factors influencing this selection. After studying the literature, a questionnaire on 31 items for kindergarten teachers was created in the practical part. It was filled in by 129 respondents. By evaluation of this questionnaire i answered 14 hypotheses. It has been confirmed that university-educated teachers choose awarded books more than teachers without university education. Support of school preparedness in the last year of kindergarten

1 ABSTRACT The theme of bachelor's work is to support school readiness in the last year of nursery school. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the period of preschool age and its characteristics. Further, are defined the concepts of school readiness, school readiness, enrolment in the first year of nursery school, postponement of school attendance and its reasons. It is described and analysed pedagogical diagnostics, its methods and support options for children with the postponement of school attendance in kindergarten. The practical part is realized in the research the investigation of the possible ways of pedagogical diagnostics to verify the assumptions of the child before commencement of compulsory schooling. Part of the work are three case studies of children with delayed compulsory school attendance, in which are taken into account, the proposed recommendation of the pedagogical-psychological counseling for the creation of the plans of the pedagogical support, which are directed to the overall development of the child.
The view of preschool teachers to a gifted children

This bachelor thesis with the title Nursery School Teachers' View of Talented Children presents the teachers' reception and observation of talented children in kindergartens. The thesis is divided into 2 parts. The first part defines talents in various fields and subjects and describes the education of young people according to the current legislation. This theoretical part focuses on talented children in the settings of kindergartens. It describes general features of talented children, the identification of a talented child in a kindergarten, and mentions problematic aspects within the identification of talented children in general. There are also outlined basic principles of the work with talented children in kindergartens, possibilities of their development and supporting measures taken for the talented children in the environment of kindergartens.
