Didactic utilization of selected woody plants around natural monument Čertova kazatelna

This diploma thesis is focused on the didactic use of woody plants in teaching at the secondary level of elementary schools and in the corresponding years of grammar schools. The purpose is to appropriately use trees and other woody plants that are close to schools and are available for teaching. The theoretical part deals with basic curricular documents, methods of teaching possibly used in science or biology that have been briefly characterized, and the representation of the topic of woody plants and their method of processing in commonly available textbooks. The following chapter provides a description of the woody plants used in the process of making of the practical materials. The research of the thesis includes a questionnaire survey done among teachers of science or biology at chosen elementary and grammar schools in Pilsen and surrounding towns. The research investigated the teaching methods and the actual use of woody plants in lessons and was evaluated afterwards. Based on the survey, a motivational teaching material was created and it was verified in practice with pupils of a specific grammar school. Motivation and management of employees in a small organization

The work deals with the topic of company management focusing on leadership and motivating of employees and cooperatives of the given company. To provide a more complex treatment of the topic, the theoretical part offers a summarization of the basic knowledge about leadership and motivating individuals in the field of management and in different organizations. It covers not only the historical understanding of management and individual motivational theories but also fundamental key knowledge from the area of communication, which seems to be a decisive factor of successful leadership of individuals by the organization. In the practical part of the work, the author presents a questionnaire research in a selected organization, focused at the character of leadership and motivating of employees of the current sales team both from the quality and quantity point of view. Based on the results of this survey, the author presents some proposals and recommendations for an overall improvement of the leadership and motivating process of the employees of the given workplace at the very end of the work, pointing out the necessity of these changes to increase the profitability of the turnover of that company.
The mutual influence of Romani, Spanish and the other languages of the Iberian Peninsula.

The language contact of the inflectional Romani and Spanish, Catalan and other languages of the Iberian Peninsula began in the first half of the 15th century. A long- term and immediate contact between Romani and a language of the majority in several places of Europe resulted in emergence of so called Para-Romani varieties, mixed languages which predominantly make use of the grammar of the surrounding language, whereas the Romani-derived vocabulary is at least partly retained. In the Iberian Peninsula several Para-Romani varieties emerged. The process of their phonological, morphological and lexical evolution from the inflectional Iberian Romani is described in the first part of this thesis. The original form of the Iberian Romani of the 15th century was - according to our opinion - similar to so called early Romani of the Byzantine period that is supposed to end by the 14th century when the Romani language started to disperse throughout Europe. The influence of Spanish (and other languages of the Iberian Peninsula) is evident not only in the morphology and syntax, but also in phonology and semantics of the Iberian Para-Romani varieties. Analysis of Satisfaction of Employees in the Selected Company and Proposals for Its Improvement

The thesis is concerned with the analysis of satisfaction of employees in the company AG Transport, s.r.o. The theoretical part is devoted to introducing the issues of satisfaction of staff. The analytical part is then focused on the description of the company. The analysis itself will be conducted through a questionnaire. Based on the results of this survey, suggestions on improving the satisfaction of the company’s workers will be expressed.
Implementation of methods of critical thinking in teaching photosynthesis

This study discuss two phenomenones. The first phenomenon is photosynthesis; this process played a key role in the emergence of life and is necessary to maintain a various life on our Earth. Photosynthesis enables plants to use a bottomless supply of solar energy to produce organic substance and release oxygen. The second phenomenon is critical thinking; the ability to sort and evaluate new information and form "your" own opinion indispensable ability for modern human. In a theoretical part of the study is dealt with term critical thinking, teaching methods of critical thinking and photosynthesis of biological and didactic point of view. In a practical part of the study is dealt with compilation and verification materials for thematic unit of photosynthesis, which would lead to the development of critical thinking of high school pupils (students). Furthermore in the practical part is a questionnaire survey, which is evaluated existing using of methods of critical thinking at biology teachers at high schools and is analyzed their teaching methods to the topic of photosynthesis. In the study is dealt with processing the topic of photosynthesis in selected high school textbooks.
Evaluation and Remuneration of Employees

The topic of this thesis is evaluation and remuneration of employees. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on system of evaluation and remuneration of employees in general, their importance, meaning and continuity. The practical part includes a study of particular company and a questionnaire survey. Its goal is to find out the opinion of the employees and then to analyze the current situation and suggest corrective actions that should contribute to improvement of the system and to satisfaction of the employees.
Responsible tourism in Křivoklátsko

This thesis deals with the responsible tourism in the selected area CHKO Křivoklátsko. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current state of eco-friendly types of tourismin this location through the analysis of its present supply. On the basis of the questionnaire research was also evaluated how are visitors interested in activities of responsible tourism. The data that were obtained through the analysis of supply and demand were used as a basis for suggestions of optimization of products of responsible tourism in this area.

The life in Třebíč after being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

The main aim of the bachelors thesis is to analyse and evaluate the influence of adding the sights-basilica st. Procopius, the Jewish Quarter and the Jewish cemetery on the life in Třebíč. The theoretical part focuses on cultural tourism and the UNESCO organisation. This section also describes tourism in the Czech republic and compares three UNESCO sites located in the Vysočina region. In the practical part are analysed changes in the town 13 years after being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in different points of view, which are focused on cultural events regarding the celebration of UNESCO sights and jewish community, on changes in appereance of the town and new businesses. This part deals with promotion of the Třebíč and evaluate the number of visitors of the sights as well. The bachelors thesis involves the questionnaire research.
Didactical Processing of the Curriculum of Economic Integration and European Union for Business Academies

The Master Thesis deals with the problem of didactical processing of the curriculum of economic integration and European Union for business academies. The main goal of this work is to bring useful output which should make the process of teaching this topic easier for teachers. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to analyzing law regulations and educational programs which should lead to defining necessary requirements for teaching this topic. The practical part builds on the theoretical outcome. A theoretical presentation of the topic of economic integration and European Union is presented at the beginning of the practical part. Afterwards, the practical part focuses on creating a database of questions and tasks for practicing and evaluating students knowledge of this topic. In addition, results of a questionnaire research are presented afterwards. The research was conducted among the teachers and students of Karlínská Business Academy in Prague 8 who received the output of this work. The work is finished with a conclusion connected with a recommendation which was gained during the process of creating this Master Thesis.
