The bachelor thesis deals with accounting and tax aspects of employee benefits. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the human resources, employee benefits, their current legal regulations and finally accounting and tax aspects of employee benefits. The practical part analyses the employee benefits of the selected company and develops a proposal for the optimization of these benefits.

The bachelor thesis deals with the motivation and remuneration of employees through benefits from the perspective of tax regulations. First, based on a literature search in the context of the Czech legislation, it defines the theoretical requirements of individual benefits. Using personal interviews and subsequent analysis, it addresses how to choose an appropriate remuneration system in a company with a higher level of employee turnover. Finally, two proposals reflecting requirements of employees and management of the company are set out.

Based on the data obtained, the thesis concludes with recommendations for improving employee satisfaction and motivation, with a view to reducing turnover and the associated costs.

The aim is to present proposals and address deficiencies that will lead to increased employee motivation and their retention within the company. The theoretical part of the thesis defines key concepts that will be utilised in subsequent sections. The practical part includes an introduction to the selected company and focusses on the current incentive system of benefits and overall employee satisfaction. Quantitative research will lead to establishing proposals and measures related to establishing an appropriate reward system, boosting employee motivation and satisfaction.

The theoretical part describes the basic theoretical background in the field of motivation and human resources. The analytical part focuses on the description of the company under study and the identification of the current state of the motivation programme in the company through a questionnaire survey. The design part is made from the own suggestions for improving the motivation system of employees in the company based on the analysis.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation of employee remuneration from the perspective of tax regulations. In the first part, a theory dealing with motivation, remuneration and income taxation is elaborated with the help of literature research. The second part is focused on the description and analysis of the current state of the company. Current employee benefits are also listed here. The second part also contains a questionnaire survey, which led to the identification of respondents and the establishment of what benefits employees use. The last part is focused on the proposal of benefits that the company could include in its remuneration system. Finally, the company is recommended possible variants that would lead to greater employee satisfaction and tax optimization of the company.

Subsequently, we will take a look at the sources of financing, especially for personal costs in the public sector. The next part will be devoted to individual benefits provided in the investigated institution and a comparison with surrounding institutions of the same level. The last part is focused on recommending changes, for the specific municipal ofiice under investigation, based on the current situation, employee satisfaction, options according to the law.

The practical part describes trends on market of benefits and analyse current situation in Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno s.r.o. with methods such as questionnaire, analyses, interview with management. It also describes options provided by cafeteria plan and its flexibility for benefits distribution to each employee. Suggestion presents benefits of cafeteria plan, how old and new benefits should be implemented into this plan, and what it costs.
