Poláčková, Michaela ; Slavík, Jan (referee) ; Starý, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis Formative Assessment deals with one form of classroom assessment focusing on frequent and interactive assessing of pupil's work. After introducing the problems concerning this issue, assessment is questioned through the view of useful feedback on pupils learning; assessment is also viewed as one of the objectives set by Framework Education Programme, included in learning competency. Formative assessment is complex throughout this work as a whole, involving a range of methods and strategies that provide for teachers and pupils better understanding of learning processes. The aim is to minimize the gap between pupil achievements and standards set by the national curriculum. Part of the text is dedicated to surveys and findings from the international study "Formative Assessment" carried out by the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and to the key publication Assessment for Learning (P. Black, D. Wiliam.) Formative assessment is presented as a means of increasing the potential of feedback while assessing pupils work by marks. Music Therapy, Music Education and Adolescence (Issues concerning the stimulation of adolescents' interest in music education)
Weber, Jana ; Herden, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Slavík, Jan (referee) ; Mastnak, Wolfgang (referee)
Music plays an important role in our lives. Especially during puberty, music is an important part of an adolescent's influence which supports the development of identity. In today's world, music is disappearing from interpersonal relationships. School is often the last place where young people can learn about themselves and the world around them through music. Looking at music education from this perspective, teaching music could be instrumental in developping soft skills. Unfortunately music education is often given only marginal consideration on the education plan in Czech secondary schools. As a consequence neither school management nor pupils understand its significance and music classes become a gathering of people with no interest. In many schools music education loses its meaning and its potential is wasted. Based on ideas of music therapy and artefiletic, the aim of this work is to find possible ways to encourage the interest of adolescents in this field again. One option is to motivate students to link school life with their life outside of school. They can learn through their own experiences in creative activities and discussions. This work is heuristically oriented, i.e. we do not seek answers, but rather consider the issues and come up with new ideas for future work. Our goal is to offer music...

Art Education in Japan/School - ethnographic study
Výzkum byl veden kombinací metod pedagogicko-etnografických a kulturně- antropologických. Informace čerpal především z terénního výzkumu prováděného v Japonské škole v Praze a v některých školách v Japonsku v Ósace v letech 1986-2006. S postupující globalizací a asimilací kultur vyvstává potřeba "mezinárodní výchovy". Nutnost hledání základních postupů vedoucích k poznání a pochopení jiných kultur. Výchova k empatii vůči příslušníkům jiných národů a jejich specifickým projevům. I v tomto směru tato práce...

Creative interpretation as a didactic problem
The Home as a Place
