Creative techniques in supervision

The main aim of my diploma work called "Creative Techniques in Supervision", which is divided into two parts, is creating of a practical manual containing art-therapeutic techniques that can be used in supervision. This work is dedicated to all supervisors who are originally not art-therapist but despite this fact want use this way of work. The first part of my work is an introduction of the art-therapeutic method that (with the use of technical literature) deals with definitions of special terms. This part is dedicated to the theoretical knowledge and is also filled up with my own knowledge and experience from the field of the art-therapeutic praxes. It is actually a foundation for the second part of my diploma work that contains concrete techniques that can be used in supervision. The second part of my work contains a list of twenty creative techniques - methods of work - that are suitable for the individual, group or team supervision. All the techniques are proceeded according to one schema. It means that in all techniques are mentioned theirs goals, forms, technical severity, supposed time, procedure and also possibly risks. Each technique dispose of needed helpful realisation tools. Enclosure of my diploma work contains several casuistic including photo-documentation.
Introduction of Managerial Supervision at the Department of Anesthesiology : a case study

Eva Bendová: Introducing managerial supervision at the Department of Anesthesiology ABSTRACT In the form of a case study, this diploma thesis describes the process of introducing managerial supervision at the Department of Anesthesiology of Masaryk Hospital in the town of Ústí nad Labem. The theoretical part of the thesis describes theoretical prerequisites of change. It deals with managerial supervision, its basic aspects and principles. Furthermore, it focuses on issues closely related to successful introduction of managerial supervision - management, staff evaluation and development, organizational context and the process of change management. The practical part of the thesis draws a comparison between the situation as it was before introducing the managerial supervision process in the anesthetics ward and the situation a year after I took up my post there. It describes the process of introducing managerial supervision as a tool of change management, the individual stages of change and its evaluation. The thesis is concluded with a reflexion on personal change occurred within a managerial position as a result of analyzing the individual managerial supervision records. Supervision of An Organization as The Tool for Development and Change

Masters thesis based on extensive research on different forms of supervision organizations in seven organizations providing social services to prevent, try to define this type of supervision and generalize some of his characters. Data on supervision in the organization was obtained by questionnaire survey and interviews with managers of the organization. As part of the research was further investigated by questionnaire survey of participating organizations, culture and searched for possible relationship between the implementation the supervision organization and levels of organizational culture. Empirical and theoretical part of this thesis is directed to the final discussion on supervision in the organization as an instrument of management development and change in organizations.
