Distance education of pupils with physical and combined disabilities at lower secondary school

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the distance education of pupils with physical and combined disabilities, with a focus on those where physical disabilities predominate. It specifically addresses pupils in the secondary grades of elementary schools established according to § 16, paragraph 9 of the Education Act. The theoretical section briefly characterizes students with physical and combined disabilities. Additionally, it outlines the conditions, specifics, and possibilities of education for this target group in the Czech Republic. The chapter on distance education introduces the forms of teaching, its organization, specifics, benefits, and challenges for students in this group and their teaching staff. A qualitative research study is included in the thesis, conducted through semi-structured interviews with thirteen teaching staff members from four schools. The research aimed to determine the extent and ways in which, according to pedagogical staff, the experience with mandated distance learning influenced the education of students with physical disabilities. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the development of diagnostics of morally defective youth used at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in correctional institutions. The diagnosis of morally defective youth was closely related to the issue of correction and re-education of these persons. The very consequences of behavioral disorders have always had a serious impact on socielity itself. By establishing correctional facilities and the subsequent diagnosis of the inmates, the compeny accepted responsibility for the re-education of these persons. The theoretical part defines diagnostics in etopedic practice as we know it today. This thesis Advantages and disadvantages of educating pupils with intellectual disabilities in independently established classes at elementary school deals with the issue of classes established according to Section 16, paragraph 9 of the School Act at elementary schools, specifically their advantages and disadvantages from the perspective of special education. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical part and the part of the own research investigation. The theoretical part is dedicated to individuals with intellectual disabilities, education of pupils with intellectual disabilities, and the collaboration between the school and the family of pupils with intellectual disabilities. The diploma thesis deals with students with specially educational needs at the second level of elemantary school in the subject Czech language. The focus is mainly on what support is being given to students by the school, the school counselling centre and teachers who teach the Czech language. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The author explains the concept of a pupil with specially educational needs, describing the system of care and support for these students. Due to the second field studied by the author, the work focuses on the special needs of students in the subject czech language and literature. Particular attention is paid to students with specific learning disabilities, in particular dyslexia, dysgraphy and dysortography. The thesis also mentions the reduction of mentioned specific learning disabilities. The projected outcome should be to map the intervention and support that students receive at a mainstream elementary school in the teaching of the Czech language as well as within the subject of a specially pedagogical intervention. Impacts of family background on education of students in primary schools

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the impacts of family background on pupils' education in primary schools. The thesis aims to examine the direct effects of family background on the behavior and education of pupils in primary schools. The theoretical part explores the topic of family background, defines the consequences of negative experiences in close relationships, and then discusses the three levels of mental health support and well-being support for pupils. The research part of the thesis is conducted through ten online interviews with primary school teachers. The collected data are then analyzed and summarised into tables, which contain information about the pupil's family situation and the impact of family background on the pupil's behavior and education. The results based on the data are summarised using graphs. The research found that family background and negative childhood experience have had a negative impact on the pupil's behavior and education in eight cases and on the pupil's behavior or education in two cases. The diploma thesis Development of reading in students with intellectual disability is a special pedagogical topic that extends to all areas of the life of a person with an intellectual disability. The theoretical part offers an insight into the issue of reading and reading interests among students with intellectual disabilities, the area of reading and reading interests, pre-reading is brought up, teaching reading methods, supporting reading and reading interests, basic information about a person with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities and education of persons with intellectual disabilities. The research part is prepared on the basis of qualitative research. The main method of qualitative research was semi-structured interviews, supplemented by unstructured participant observation.
