Thesis title: People suffering from communication disorders in general practitioner's office Author: Mgr. PaedDr. Jiřina Klenková, Ph.D. The thesis focuses on the problematics of communication disorders and in what way general practitioners encounter it in their office, especially with specific number of their patients considering their age, sex, and active speech/language pathology care. The thesis is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part describes characteristics of communication disorders which are encountered by a general practitioner on a daily basis. More attention is given to aphasia, as there is a subsequent qualitative research. The research part is divided into a quantitative research that verifies set hypotheses, and a qualitative research which shows the communication disorder from a more specific point of view by using five different case interpretations. The research file included 1054 patients who came in the general practitioners office during 22 months, usually repeatedly. There have been four hypotheses set for verification. The influence of individual orthoses on ulcer healing in diabetic foot syndrome

Title: The influence of individual orthoses on ulcer healing in diabetic foot syndrome Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of individual braces and confirm or refute the suitability of these tools for diabetics with diabetic foot syndrome on the basis of statistical evaluation. Methods: This study is a theoretical and empirical, quantitative research was used in the form of a retrospective monitoring during treatment of patients with individual orthoses. Further observations conducted participated. Participated observation was made as a collaboration with orthotics, from which he was readmitted systematically collected data for statistical processing and ran with it professional consultation. It is an analysis of the data for the period of one year (2013) and their comparison. I used data from a file made of 32 patients using individual brace. Age and gender were not her concern. Results: The aim of this work was to gather feedback for doctors and orthotics, who are dedicated to patients with diabetic foot syndrome and defects in them. An effort was made on a sample of patients to determine whether it is effective to prescribe and create these patients individual orthoses that will improve healing in them. The attributes of flexibility in women's artistic gymnastics

Title: The attributes of flexibility in women's artistic gymnastics Aims: The aim of the thesis is to display the importance of flexibility in relation to performance in women's artistic gymnastics. By that are meant attributes related to the range of movement in joint connections from the point of aesthetic criteria, the efficient movement technique and also from the point of medical prevention. Methods: The thesis has character of a summarizing study, which comes out of accessible materials research. The purpose is to collect pieces of information, subsequently organize them and interpret them by the form of recommendations in relation to flexibility development issue in artistic gymnastics. This thesis is not experimental, or more precisely descriptive, its structure is neither related to some hypothesis nor asking scientific questions. Results: The thesis results are presented by the form of generally valid rules and recommendations in relation to the flexibility development issue overlapping to specific field in artistic gymnastics. That is foundation of the suggestion of a particular movement plan focused on the flexibility development at the primary school-aged gymnast's. Nutritional behaviour of mothers abusing psychoactive substances

The thesis deals with the topic of nutrition and nutritional behavior of women using psychoactive substances and their awareness of the basic principles of adequate nutrition. The main area of research is the searching for the most common deficits in nutritional habits in a group of mothers enrolled in outpatient addictological program. The aim is to analyze that specified field and than estabilish a set of recommendations for clients of addiction services, which is focused on their re-education in the field of nutrition and wich contributes to the awareness of the target group. The theoretical part generally defines addiction and their most frequent comorbidities and while this part presents the basis for a healthy diet according to the dietary recommendations for the population of the Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on collecting informations from clients of outpatient program and using the method of questionnaire survey and subsequent evaluation of the collected data. For the purpose of the work was compiled questionnaire focused on identifying expected deficits in nutritional habits of the target group, especially on regularity in the diet and the inclusion of recommended foods.
