The aim of my thesis is to analyze information resources in the field of light athletics, to describe its content, structure, tools and specifics. Resources for public in general and for groups involved in light athletics (athletes as well as trainers) are discussed in detail. Thesis describes short history of athletics, its development from ancient times and the analysis of the most important athletics portals.

My dissertation is focused on customer-oriented websites. It explains the basic principles of creating customer-targeted websites. It also deals with common suggestions to web design, web navigations and contents. I conclude my dissertation with application of the theoretically acquired knowledge on the analysis of business web presentation, including the e-shop.

Information management of central state administration (comparative study)

The rigorous thesis is focused on information management of central state administration and on a way of analysing it. In the first part initial insight into the problem is provided and essential specifics which are related with the field of information management in public sector communication are described as well. Next the information audit as a useable tool for information management analysis is introduced. Susan Henczel's methodological approach of information audit process is described in more detail in order to apply this tool practically in the analytical part of the work. The second part of the master thesis is based on my own analysis of management of information activities and communication of two departments - the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and the similar one in Sweden. The key part of this work is based on the practical information audit, which consists of three- phase research. In the first phase the research method of Mystery mailing is used to learn how central state administrative offices cope with different laws concerning information activities. In the second phase the research method of content analysis (based on selected SEO tools) of official websites is used. Information and communication strategies of Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na popis, analýzu a zhodnocení informační a komunikační činnosti ministerstva obrany. Práce se skládá z teoretické popisné části a z praktické analytické části. První popisná kapitola se zabývá vymezením a specifikací ministerstva obrany jako orgánu ústřední státní správy. V další kapitole jsou popsány prostředky zajišťující komunikační a informační činnost ministerstva obrany. Následně jsou uvedeny realizované aktivity a popsán význam a funkce komunikačních strategií v komunikační a informační činnosti rezortu. Ve druhé části byla provedena praktická analýza a zhodnocení současného stavu vnější i vnitřní komunikace rezortu. K rozboru a vyhodnocení efektivity komunikace ministerstva obrany byly využity nástroje dvoufázového informačního auditu a analýzy SWOT. Na závěr jsou formulována navrhovaná doporučení a provedeno souhrnné zhodnocení současné úrovně komunikace Ministerstva obrany České republiky. [Autorský abstrakt].

Human Resources Development in Information Institutions

Oblast personálního řízení je nezbytnou součástí každé instituce a zahrnuje spoustu aktivit a modelů, které je při aplikaci vždy nutné přizpůsobit danému prostředí. Příspěvek nejprve stručně představí několik moderních trendů, které se aktuálně implementují v oblasti lidských zdrojů. Do hlavní části příspěvku jsou zařazeny tři vybrané oblasti, které mohou být využity ke stabilizaci a při rozvoji lidských zdrojů v informačních institucích a knihovnách. Účelem příspěvku je poskytnout přehled s náměty, které mohou posluchačům pomoci rozšířit perspektivy při řešení agendy spojené s personálním řízením.
