The influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work and motivation of kindergarten teachers.

This diploma thesis discusses the influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work performance and motivation of teachers in kindergartens. The theoretical part of the work is dedicated to the definition of teaching staff, the work duties they must perform and also their motivation. The role of kindergarten principals and their influence on the climate of the teaching staff and the motivation of pedagogues is also described. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the differences between the school climate, the classroom climate and the social climate of the teaching staff. The empirical part of the work presents the research results. The study focused on investigating the social climate of teaching staff in kindergartens and its influence on teacher's motivation and satisfaction. In this approach a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used to identify factors influencing the climate of the teaching staff and their influence on the work and motivation of teachers. On the basis of the obtained information the work presents some options that could help to build a positive climate for the teaching staff in kindergartens. Comparison of selected indicators of lifestyle chemistry teachers and health education teachers.

This thesis focuses on the comparison of selected lifestyle indicators of chemistry teachers and health education teachers in primary schools. The selected indicators are, for example, drinking regime, physical activity, education in healthy nutrition, stress management, etc. The theoretical part explains the key terms from the pedagogical field and the selected indicators of healthy lifestyle. The practical part is focused on the comparison of these indicators and the negative or positive influence of teaching the subject on the lifestyle of the selected teachers. A QUAN- qual mixed design is used for this evaluation. The quantitative research was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey. Additional qualitative research was conducted using two interviews. The main target is to compare the lifestyles of health education teachers and chemistry teachers in primary schools using selected indicators. The sub-targets will then be to compare the extent to which the selected educators think they are following the principles of healthy nutrition. Preparing teachers to work with gifted students

The diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of teachers for work with gifted pupils at primary schools of mainstream education. The aim of the thesis is to describe possible educational practices and to analyze the methods of work that teachers can apply in the process of educating gifted pupils at a regular primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of giftedness, its models and classification. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the identification of gifted individuals, especially teachers, on basic approaches in the education of gifted pupils and also focuses on the education of teachers for working with gifted pupils. The research part of the thesis describes the research itself, which is solved by a mixed design of quantitative and qualitative approach. The quantitative research was carried out through a questionnaire survey and we used semi-structured interviews to collect data as part of the qualitative research. 81 respondents took part in the questionnaire survey and four respondents were subsequently contacted for semi-structured interviews. These were three teachers and one special educator working in a mainstream primary school. Teaching assistant in a pre-school facility and a child with developmental dysphasia

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the work of teaching assistants in different kindergarten classes where a child with developmental dysphasia is enrolled. The theoretical part of the thesis will focus on two main topics, namely the teaching assistant and developmental dysphasia. Developmental dysphasia is a speech disorder that kind of impaired communication skills. In the first part, the thesis will focus on the teaching assistant, his job description, forms of cooperation and communication with other teachers. The second part will describe the issue of impaired communication ability and closer specifications to developmental dysphasia. Types of developmental dysphasia and the child with developmental dysphasia in preschool age. The research is a case study of three teaching assistants in different kindergarten classes attended by children with developmental dysphasia. The research is conducted through selected research methods, namely structured interview as well as non-participant observation. Intergenerational Relations and Cooperation in the Teaching Staff and Their Influence on Education.

The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a research investigation. In the theoretical part the author deals with communication and defines the concept. Then, it deals with conflicts, which the author defines and describes the different kinds and also delves into rivalry and generational conflicts. The thesis also describes teaching models as a source of conflicts. It describes the relationship to self and relationships to others. Last but not least, it discusses the school, the teaching staff and the vision of the school under study. The second part consists of a research investigation. The research investigation was conducted in the form of an online questionnaire for teachers and for pupils. The questionnaire for teachers consisted of both closed and open-ended questions and the questionnaire for pupils consisted of closed-ended questions only. The data were presented in graphical form. The questionnaires are attached in the appendices at the end of the thesis, where the answers to the open-ended questions for teachers are also attached. Then, in the conclusion, the author suggested measures to improve the climate of the teaching staff based on the data. Professional competence in relation to education of children and pupils with special educational needs from the perspective of kindergarten and primary school teachers

The bachelor's thesis deals with professional competencies from the point of view of primary and kindergarten teachers towards the education of children and pupils with special educational needs. In the introductory chapter, the concepts of inclusive education, the division of inclusive education into preschool, and basic and support measures are defined. The terms pupil with special educational needs, types of education for these pupils, and the counseling system in the Czech Republic are defined in the second chapter of the theoretical part. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the teacher, his personality, and competencies in the education of children and pupils with special educational needs. The practical part tries to fulfill the research goal, which is to find out and describe, from the point of view of kindergarten and primary school teachers, their professional competence towards the education of children and pupils with special educational needs. To achieve the research objective, a mixed type of research was chosen. Quantitative research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey, in which a total of 112 elementary and kindergarten teachers participated. The data obtained from the questionnaire survey were analyzed and sorted by first-level procedures and are subsequently presented in graphs. To increase the quality of the research, one semi-structured interview was conducted with a primary school teacher who has experience in educating pupils with special educational needs. From the results of the research, we can conclude that pedagogues approach the education of children and pupils with special educational needs mostly positively. However, there are deficiencies in the education and training of teachers to accept these children in their classes. The vast majority of educators use self-study to feel competent enough. However, exactly 77.5% of the teachers who participated in the research rate their work very positively and were satisfied with their pedagogical skills in the education of children and pupils with special educational needs. This bachelor's thesis can also be used to optimize educational programs for primary and kindergarten teachers in the education of children and pupils with special educational needs.
