Methodics of using UAV technology for documentation of interiors & exteriors of historical monuments

Methodics deals with process of documentation of exteriors of historical objects by UAV, including adequate legislative. But the main issue is documentation of interiors of arthistorical value by drones - through our unique safe documentation method. Methods accompanies case studies, included are general informations about drones and digitalization of historical mouments.

This Master Thesis "The animals in the cathedral. Architectural sculpture of animals and fantastical creatures by parlerian lodge in the St. Vitus Cathedral, their symbols and iconography" looks into the architectural sculpture of animal's motifs and motifs of fantastical Creatures. The goal of this work is to summarize recent aspects of research about this theme, explain in more detail individually motifs of animal's and their Iconography and their meaning for Cathedral of St. Vitus. Also this thesis want to explain how could this special animal's motifs fit into the places, where are they have been situated. Their Iconography is taken with larger perspective, by literature's reception from antique over czech medieval age. Concerning animals and fantastic Creatures in the southern vestibule - pelican and phoenix; an owl in the Crown Chamber; gryphon and fight between cat and dog in the inner triforium; an eagle, an unicorn, a horse with bird's legs, a phoenix, a pelican, a stag, a lion, a gryphon, a lioness, a bear, a "cat" and three chimera in the outer triforium; a lion, a dog, a dragon and an eagle in buttresses and at least a dragon and a goat on the Big Tower. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to give an integrated statement development of monument of Frantisek Palacky in Prague, which is a piece of one of the leading representatives of Art Nouveau sculpture Stanislav Sucharda and architect Alois Dryák. Attention will be given a public competition that preceded the whole project, the importance of choosing a place for a monument, process Sucharda's creation, the role of the architect and finally the period responses to the entire work.

Czech artist in the years 1968-1989: Servant or a hero? Stanislav Kolibal and Josef Malejovsky Introduction of the bachelor thesis outlines the political developments in Czechoslovakia in 1948-1989. The main theme will capture the difference between official and unofficial scene Czech artistic life in the years 1968-1989, represented artists Stanislav Kolibal and Joseph Malejovsky. The content will compare the conditions in which they formed during the normalization throughout their lives, before the normalization period, compare the quality of their work, and compare the regime/anti-regime attitude to art and not least their political position not only in artistic expression. Text in addition to life artists will also focus on the development of groups in which worked, exhibitions and other artistic expressions factors.

Jana Cermanová Prague sculpture exhibitions 1898 - 1916 A contribution to the theme of gallery sculpture presentation Dissertation synopsis Sculpture as an artistic discipline experienced a dynamic rise in the Czech lands at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. This followed the much admired example of France, where Charles Morice, referencing Rodin and his pupils, asserted the dominance of modern sculpture over painting in 1910. Thanks in large part to major art world figure and educator J. V. Myslbek, the Czech lands also saw the development of a highly ambitious group of sculptors poised to address a growing social demand for monumental works (particularly memorials) that recaptured the city's public space. Sculptors worked on architectural commissions for decorative sculptures and on orders for funerary objects, which guaranteed them an income and enabled them to pursue their own creative work. However, it was chiefly this "flood of monuments" that attracted public attention to sculptors and garnered them social prestige. Work of Jan Jiří Schauberger in Moravia

Work of Jan Jiří Schauberger in Moravia This Diploma thesis treats about the life and work of Jan Jiří Schauberger, a baroque artist, who came from Austria, but worked and lived in Moravia, where he created many statues, as well as wooden or stucco sculptures, particularly in the interiors of churches. Among his best known and also the first work in Moravia belong riding statue of Caesar's fountain placed in Olomouc, erected in 1725. For the rest of his artistic life concentratedd his work primarily for sacral objects. He died relatively young as in his roughly 44 years in 1744, the exact date of his birth is unknown but is widely placed of about 1700. The first chapter is devoted to detailed criticism of literature related to the topic. Second, extensive chapter deals comprehensively with the life and work of sculptor. In the third chapter the author reflects on J. J. Schauberger's personality, in the next as about the artist. And last, the great part, is divided into several subsections depending on the material that was used for each major works, which the author discussed in detail in further sections. At the end the summarizes his findings.
Social Tendencies and Vladimír Astl's Work

One of the main objectives of this thesis is not only to map the life of Czech sculptor Vladimir Astl, but also explore various inspirational sources he might have used when creating social oriented pieces. Those are critical in is work. Typical avatars of plastics with social context are Žízeň (Thirst), Smutek (Sadness) or Stará žena (Old Woman), all of them from the period of 1905 - 1910. The initial chapter shortly discusses social problem which existed during the verge of 19th and 20th century and immediately influenced increasing use of social topics in art. Next chapter elaborates on these topics in more detail and focuses on changes of French society which were closely tied to the occurence of ambitious ideas to build monuments celebrating work of men. This chapter also discusses sculpture in France in more depth with focus on labor-oriented pieces from August Rodin, Jules Dalou and Henri Bouchard. The work of mentioned sculptors was dedicated to monuments celebrating labour. These formed a common inspiration source for social related themes in Czech sculpture of the turn of the 19th and 20th century. This bachelor work aims to outline the work of a carver and his workshop co-workers who came in the Northwest Bohemia and their cooperation on altars with a painter called the Master of slavětín altar. Furthermore this bachelor work tries to find out and describe the influences under which works originated. The workshop with the cooperation with the painter, which operated mainly in northwest Bohemia about 30 of the 16th century, created many valuable works of art of the late Gothic period and the early Renaissance era in Bohemia. Given the vast array of sculptures attributed to the anonymous carver and his workshop, is the work also trying to revised the number of works attributed to him.
Sculptor Čeněk Vosmík (1860 - 1944)

This thesis deals with the life and artwork of sculptor Čeněk Vosmík (1860 - 1944). Thesis contains an overview and evaluation of his artworks in the context of his time. Vosmík's artistic creation is followed from the beginning, which he spent studying in Vienna, through the period of the first successes and early artwork to the stage of his later artworks, when he devoted himself primarily to the religious art. Besides of the religious art thesis deals also with the allegorical, decorative and portrait work as well as restoration works. They are not neglected nor his unrealized proposals of works of art. Is especially emphasized Vosmík's early period of arts and his most important sculptures - The reprobate, The shepherd with bull and The Christ in the desert.
