1 Abstract: Bachelor's thesis Emanuel Rádl, his conception of philosophy and education will follow work and ideas of Czech philosopher and biologist Emanuel Radl. I will study the basic titles of works Consolation of Philosophy and essays devoted to partial topics and to the problem of education in the new Czechoslovak state. The theme of the analysis will be how Rádl thoughts were admitted to the society and how its thinking is valued today. Change in values ​​in children's literature from the renaissance to the present

Diplomová práce se zabývá proměnou hodnot v dětské literatuře od obrození k dnešku. Na začátku práce se pojednává o problematice hodnot a o významu dětské literatury pro rozvoj morálního vědomí žáků. Dále se práce zabývá proměnou hodnotové orientace ve společnosti v průběhu sledovaného období. V rámci interpretace děl dětské literatury, která byla dobově nejvýznamnější či nejčtenější, je ukázáno, jak se měnil pohled na morální normy a hodnoty v literatuře pro děti a mládež. V závěru práce jsou porovnány hodnotové rámce napříč zmíněnými tituly s přihlédnutím k subjektivnímu pohledu autora i hodnotové orientaci společnosti. Z výsledků práce jsou pak vyvozeny didaktické závěry, které mohou posloužit jako pomůcka učitelům při výuce občanské výchovy. Marriage in danger. The three different stories

The central task of this bachelor's thesis was to analyse three novels which were dealing with a motif of marriage and its possible dissolution. In the first part, the author adumbrated the topic of marriage, love and infidelity in general. Following chapters were focused on the analysis of individual novels from a literary, sociological, psychological and literary-historical point of view. The main aim was to compare the novels and the motif of marriage included in them.
Evil as privatio boni in the works of Aurelius Augustinus and Carl Gustav Jung

This thesis deals with the question of evil as privatio boni according to the teachings of Augustine of Hippo and the conception of evil in the work of Carl Gustav Jung who denied this Augustine's teachings. In the thesis I analyze attitudes that adopt both thinkers to categories of good and evil in relation to impacts of their conceptions on understanding of God, self-understanding of man, of his life, death and salvation, further of the relation of God and man and the human moral responsibility before God and society. Augustine maintains that evil is an absence of good, but Jung thinks that the reality is put together from the balance of good and evil. Their attitudes I scarify with the aid of the secondary literature and the explanation of that biblical places that both thinkers refer to.
Academic dishonesty and its relationship to work ethics

The thesis is concerned with possible relationship between the rate and kinds of academic dishonesty and work ethics. In the first segment of the theoretical section of the thesis, the extent of present research concerned with the reciprocal relationship of breaking of the rules in the context of school and work and the possibility of predicting aspects of work ethics on the basis of having knowledge about the rate of academic dishonesty of a given individual, is summarized. The second theoretical segment is a descripitiona and discussion of research of factors which affect both dishonesty in the school context and aspects of work ethics. On the basis of identification of these factors are in the empirical section analysed data, which were acquired through surveying of university level and high school students. Significant difference betwen the rates of dishonesty in high school and university level context, which is contradictory to some of the previous research literature.Relationship of the students to their grades and to some extent, gender, were shown to be significant influence on rate of academic dishonesty. The analysis of the direczt relationship between academic dishonesty and work ethics has yielded mixed results, suggesting, that the relationship si more complex than previously suspected

PROTECTION OF PERSONALITY IN SCOPE OF LEGAL PHILOSOPHY AND APPLICABLE LAW 1. Summary We can see law from two main perspectives. Law is either complex of written regulations, which are prepared by human beings based on some interests or it is a complex of rules, which altough are written, but its nature are originating from higher normative system. First is a present perspective. Current law science is prefering valid law as complex of regulations published in statute book. What is not banned by law, is allowed. Though this law philosophy is leading to instability in society. Every year legislator is making hundreds of amendements and create new laws to cover new circumstances which appear in the society. Despite legislator effort is society further unsatisfied with legal state. Society claims that law is enforceable for those who are able to hire big law firms, which can find neccesary grey areas. Immanuel Kant among the first draw a problem between legality and legitimacy. But it is not only matter of legislator whether he acts legitimately or legally, but as well as of receiver of law norm. Jewish Trilogy in Arnošt Lustig's Work

This bachelor thesis deals with three proses by Arnošt Lustig forming the Jewish Trilogy: Lea from Leeuwarden, Colette, the girl from Antwerp and Tanga from Hamburg. Lustig's characters are presented and their basic typology is determined. The focus is then moved to the female characters of the Jewish Trilogy. The thesis follows their development, characteristics and position among other author's female protagonists. In each story, development of basic narrative categories (the narrator, characters, time and space), recurring themes and use of language and style are discussed. The conclusion focuses on the mutual comparison of the books, and it also deals with the theme of eroticism and sex in Lustig's work. More details are also provided on author's life because his work is closely related with it. Blame, Repentance, Responsibility This thesis deals with the issue of blame, repentance and responsibility in terms of accountability for the current state of the world. After being characterized by fundamental concepts such as freedom of human action, ethics, morality, conscience, responsibility, blame and repentance, the thesis focused on the responsibility for the current state of the world. The paper outlines the nature of the current crisis of society from the perspective of two major theologians Hans Küng and Daniel L. Migliore. Next, the thesis deals with the necessity of a common ethical consensus and the project World ethos, which was created within the Parliament of World Religions. Much of the paper is devoted to the principles of this project and the four commandments, which are actually concretization of the "golden rule" and which can be found in most religions and ethical traditions of the world. In the next part this paper presents several areas of daily life, which the world's ethos touches, describes the current situation and needed changes. At the end it focuses on the activities of largest international organization that merits the promotion of the fundamental ethos in international practice - the United Nations, and some of the problems which are currently engaged in the UN....
Justice and injustice - how we understand it in modern society

Objective of the bachelor thesis "Conception of justice and injustice in con- temporary society" is to describe and analyze how people in contemporary Czech society understand the concepts of justice, injustice, and fair and unfair treatment. In the first part of my work I am focusing on the theoretical background of the matters of justice. There I am interested in different types and possible bases of justice, as well as in philosophers who have tried to define justice. This is followed by a practi- cal part of the thesis, which deals with the methodology and the research itself. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with 10 respondents. Du- ring the analysis, I try to investigate not only the respondents' definitions of view of justice and injustice, but also concepts with which they identify or associate justice, even terms that their concept of justice conflicts with. The final section provides a comparison of research results to the initial hypotheses and comparison of practical and theoretical parts.
Educational values from the perspectives of preschool teachers

Values and their role in preschool education are the main topic of this diploma thesis. The mail aim is to find the answer to the question what kind of educational values nursery teachers consider to be the most important ones from their point of view concerning the curricula. In the theoretical part of my diploma thesis I describe values from different perspectives: from philosophical, psychological, sociological and pedagogical perspective which is the most important ones. It is examined how values are connected with and grounded in the binding document "Framework educational programme for preschool education", I also focus on ethical principles of preschool teachers which should be followed and I describe the influence of values on shaping of children's behaviour. In the empirical part I introduce research information, data collections and data analysis and main results. The most important values from preschool teacher's point of view can be divided into three groups: moral values, values connected with relationships and values connected with skills.
