Detection of Vehicles in Image
Špaňhel, Jakub ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis aims to implement the vehicle detection and tracking method based on the motion model suitable for real-time processing. The first part includes analysis of the commonly used methods. The second part introduces principles of implemented method. This method consists of low-level features extraction, the spatiotemporal profiling of extracted features and image intensities, and classification of obtained traces based on HMM. Subsequently experiments using this trustworthy method are conducted to locate areas of potential method improvements.

Evaluation of Key Point Detection Methods
Kordula, Jaroslav ; Venera, Jiří (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to get familiarized with software component Microsoft .NET Framework and the problems of methods of interest point detection. On the basis of this knowledge, it is required to develop a method for the evaluation of used detectors and then implement a console application that is simply able to evaluate the results of interest point detection methods. Such evaluation is important in the process of development of the algorithms for the detection using projected method of evaluation. The interest points are searched in several images which represent the same scene from different angles of view. The requirements also inculde creation of graphic user interface that allows an easy way to setup the evaluation conditions.
Bin Picking for 2D objects
Robota, Jakub ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis was to process issues of bin picking and to design an aplication for 2D robot vision used for object identification with practical aplication with the use of moving object on axis. Theoretical part of thesis contains research of bin picking and detailed research of methods used in computer vision. Practical part of thesis describes the program which was developed in MATLAB and algorithms, which are used in this program. End of practical part of thesis also describes real use of this program for detecting an object which is moving on axis.
Forging measurement using passive stereo vision
Vítek, Petr ; Mendřický, Radomír (referee) ; Hurník, Jakub (advisor)
The measurement of forgings in the hot state allows for the adjustment of their dimensions and shape, which increases the efficiency of the production process, energy savings and less technological additions of material. A possible alternative to conventional approaches for measuring hot forgings is the application of passive stereovision, which is the focus of this paper. The objectives are to determine the accuracy of this approach with respect to conventional conditions, to highlight the scale structure for the detection of significant points and to select a method for surface detection and reconstruction. The proposed method allows surface reconstruction with an accuracy worse by one order of magnitude, compared to measurements under normal conditions. In a measurement volume of 0.3 m3, the standard deviation of points in the space of 0.28 mm was determined. A band-pass filter transmitting green light spectrum was chosen to represent the forging structure based on the study of spatial frequencies and experimental testing. The KAZE method achieved the highest number of detected feature points on the forging surface.
Drone position stabilization methods using image data
Koukal, Ondřej ; Raichl, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of an unmanned aircraft stabilization system. The purpose of this system is to determine the exact position of the unmanned aircraft in space based on image data from two cameras in real time. The theoretical part describes the image processing methods and the algorithm for determining the position of the unmanned aircraft. The practical part describes the implementation and testing of the system.
Kalibrace fluorescenčního optického mikroskopu s pomocí elektronového obrazu
Erlich, Lukáš ; Polášek, Tomáš (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the topic of image correction in fluorescence optical microscopy using electron image as a template. The aim is to design methods to analyze observed distortions in investigated microscopic systems and propose techniques for their correction. The thesis also presents a calibration sample that is utilized within it. Additionally, the work provides an overview of some existing solutions for modeling and suppressing distortion.
