A crime abuse of a person living in a shared dwelling according to § 199 Criminal Code Summary This diploma thesis deals with the crime abuse of a person living in a shared dwelling, which is regulated in § 199 of the Criminal Code. The aim of the thesis is to provide the reader with a comprehensive set of information on the issue of domestic violence and all aspects related to this phenomenon. At the same time, the work evaluates the current decision-making practice of first instance courts with the help of analysis of judgments of first instance courts. The topic of domestic violence will be introduced in detail in the individual chapters, then the crime of torturing a person living in a shared dwelling and the subsidiarity of criminal repression will be discussed in detail. The last theoretical chapter will deal with the victim and proving this crime. At the end of the thesis, the decision-making practice of the Prague courts for the last 6 years will be presented with the help of several graphs. Title of bachelor work: The specifics of adolescence of the children with Down syndrome from their parents view Abstract The bachelor thesis called The specifics of adolescence of the children with Down syndrome from their parents view deals with the term Down syndrome, its origin and forms. The thesis concentrates in the behavior of the teen age children with Down syndrome. The thesis also touch the problem of sexual abuse of the mentally handicapped children, e.g. also children with the Down syndrome and the problem of the becoming independent of these children. The practical demonstrations show the worries of mothers of the children with Down syndrome and how the worries grow up with children age.

The bachelor work target entitled "The Nurse Casuistry At a Drug Addicted Client" is to introduce readers both the drug addiction problem and the difficulties which have to be battled in the addiction therapy as well as in their personal lives by the concerning people. The reason why the pursuit has been written in the casuistry form with the clinical introduction to the problem is a better description of all the complicated situation the addicted people inhere in. The clinical part in the first segment has been focused on addictive drugs in themselves. The second one describes the particular reliance as well as it outlines the possibilities of the therapy offered to such users afflicted in this way who have decided to change their present live styles. The last but not least, the prevention has been pursuited in the clinical part - the primary prevention all above because it involves the widest population spectrum and its purpose is the smallest number of addicted people, mainly children. This thesis addresses dominant position and its abuse in the Czech and in the European Community law, by the means of comparative method. Analyzes and comments on new, relevant courts practice and takes a closer look at reform of the competition law in the field of Art. 102 TFEU. For the sake of the global description of topic in question, the thesis briefly mentions concepts of economic position, economic dependency (significant market power) and their abuse and also presents concept of monopoly position and its abuse in antitrust law of the United States of America.

ABSTRACT § Key words: violence, conflict, aggression, cruelty, abuse, neglect, bullying, the perpetrator, the victim, children, adults, seniors, self-harm, suicide In this thesis I would like to focus on how children define violence, what violence includes, how to represent both the offender and victim, what is the difference in the perception of violence against various age groups and how to prevent possible violence. The theoretical part is firstly devoted to the notion of violence or similar terms synonymous to this and to explain them according to Czech and foreign authors. I have then proceeded to topics such as violence against children, adults and seniors, self-harm, suicide and the consequences of violence. In the practical section, I examined the perception of violence among students in primary school compared with students of the same age at a grammar school. I focused on the students of class sixth / ninth grade and first and fourth year of an eight-year grammar school). The survey was not only carried out in schools in the capital city but also in a smaller town.

Abuse of Dominant Position - Individual Forms of Abusing Practices under Community and Czech law Abstract Competition is a basic mechanism of the market economy. It encourages companies to provide consumers products they want, encourages innovation, and pushes the prices down. In order to be effective, competition needs independent undertakings which are subject to the competitive pressure. That was the reason why Competition law has developed. It should pre- eminently ensure to preserve the competition on the market. Competition law comprising three pillars, namely cartel agreements prohibition, merger control and the law against abuse of dominant position. This thesis focuses on the last mentioned branch of the competition law. Attention is aimed to the individual possible forms of abusive conduct of dominant undertakings. The text explicates this problem from the Czech and European law perspective and attempts to explain individual forms of abusing practices in the light of case law. It only contains substantial law, procedural law is not covered. Ageing Processes and Family Functions Evolution

This work summarizes the third period of the human life. The changes arising during the period and relationships between elderly and the rest of the family are described. The care about independent old people is divided into two groups: provided by a family member or a professional assistant. The theoretical part is supported by the survey of health and long-term care in European Union. Knowledge and attitudes of a population of ten European countries with significant differences in social and economical markers are compared. The preferred type of the care, financial issues, insufficient care and a prevention of abusive behavior are investigated too. The results of the survey allege that the quality of the care in Czech Republic is satisfactory but still incomparable with standard in countries in Northern or Western Europe.

Trauma in Childhood among women using addictive substances

This bachelor work deals with the relations between traumatic experiences in childhood, deficient or dysfunctional family environment and the possible future development of addictive behaviors in women. It turns out that the experience of traumatic events in childhood can cause long-term and sometimes irreversible problem completely. These problems may be based on the circumstances involved in the future addictive behaviors. Based on the stories I have from women in residential treatment or after treatment heard with their consent and also due to the processing of information which I received, I find role in their next life and behavior should or could have this traumatic experience in their childhood.
