Business Process Modeling Standards
Mezera, Jiří ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (referee)
Today, business process modelling is important part of analysis and design of the information systems. There is number of standards, which is concerned with process modelling, whereas each of them represents a little different approach. The project Opensoul created general metamodel, which defines basic elements and their mutual associations, which all standards should meet. In other words, it defines basic rules for process modelling. The goal of this thesis is to compare chosen standards of process modelling with Business process metamodel of Opensoul initiative. The results of this comparison would have provide basis to answer the question, which standard supports in the best way the rules of process modelling defined by metamodel through the system of elements and their associations. This goal requires specifying the method, on which basis the comparison will be made. This method comprises the extension of metamodel with new elements and their relations to other elements, and the extension of some elements with some workflow patterns defined by Workflow Patterns initiative. That is the main benefit of this thesis.

Socio-cultural perspectives on the issue of housing in Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 20th century
Zadražilová, Lucie ; Ortová, Jitka (advisor) ; Švácha, Rostislav (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (referee)
Prefabricated housing estates represent the most typical and widespread form of mass socialist home building in our country. Their form comes from the modernistic urban planning of the European inter-war avant-garde, but living there was typified by the principles of socialistic housing policy. These were home for more than three million Czech inhabitants. Nevertheless there are many myths and incorrect evaluations connected with them, and there are many areas of this complex phenomenon which have not yet been investigated. The cultural, social and physical aspects are linked through the study of cultural theory, which was chosen for this dissertation. The three main chapters are based on a comparison with traditional city structures, the observed spatial and social specifics of prefabricated housing estates on three levels: in the imaginations of their designers, who were influenced by contemporary intellectual trends, in their implementation under specific political and social conditions, and in the opportunities which this form of building could offer for the future. The first chapter deals with formation of prefabricated housing estates as new city structure with different form of urbanism. In the second chapter the spatial specifics are described by means of five criteria of the "habitable" space:...

Working load: nuclear power plant control room
Rounová, Kateřina ; Buriánek, Jiří (referee) ; Mudd, Dana (advisor)
This work is focused on problems concerning woking load in theory as well as in practise. In the theoretical section we define basic terminology, describe risk and protective factors, metods of evaluation and other aspects connected with this issue. Moreover, we apply the subject of this work to the field of practice. In the empirical part we describe a real screening project related to working load at an exposed workplace - nuclear power plant control room. The work results in practical suggestions that could be followed by further projects.

An automatic generation of logging database triggers
Matásek, Luboš ; Matouš, Václav (advisor) ; Mlýnková, Irena (referee)
In the thesis we study automatic generation of logging database triggers. As the result an application called Database Logger for logging triggers management was developed. The application allows DML events logging (insert, update, delete) including column update triggers. Current version supports two database platforms: Oracle and PostgreSQL. The log format preserves the maximum of information value and brings the possibility of easy querying. Users can also create historical tables to produce historical data views. Application supports log and historical table querying and their export into XML.

Analysis of MS Dynamics AX 2009 functionality and its technological parameters
Faina, Michal ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Basl, Josef (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with Enterprise Resource Planning system Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 from theoretical but also practical point of view. Introductory chapters present MS Dynamics AX2009 on global market of ERP and within Microsoft Dynamics family products. Following chapters are concerned with implementation of this system and answering various questions, like why to implement MS Dynamics AX, where to find partner for implementation, how does implementation of information system proceed and from which MS Dynamics AX licence packages enterprise can be chosen. Practical part demostrates relations between modules of the system and describes functionality of selected modules. For easier understanding functionalities of the system are presented in a way that combines theoretical information with practical examples in Dynamics AX2009 system. After viewing this thesis, reader should have compact insight of MS Dynamics AX2009.

Ecological forestry – principles, experiences and possible applications in Czech rep.
Vysloužilová, Barbora ; Čada, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Bílek, Lukáš (referee)
Current methods of forest management are often unsatisfactory in terms of ecology. In the context of biodiversity conservation it is necessary to develop and apply alternative methods of forestry. Ecological forestry has been established as a response to criticism of the logging process, within which there is no emphasis on environmental functions. It is a collective term for methods and practices that replicate the natural ecosystem processes. Three basic principles of ecological forestry has been described and justified - conservation of biological heritage of natural disturbances; diverse interventions that maintain or create heterogeneity; enough time for the regeneration of vegetation. Further models were characterized by specific practical application and their application in the world. Finally, the possibilities of ecological forestry were summarized into a number of possible practical applications. It is rather general recommendations, in which inappropriate methods of practices are replaced with more ekological options, and the impact of these methods on the forest ecosystem has been explained.

Preparation of heat-insulation glass by magnetron sputtering
Petrýdes, D. ; Brožek, Vlastimil
Dynamic deposition rates and optical constants of Cr20Ni80 in form a thin layer were determined and used for simulation of optical behaviour in visible range of spektrum. These systém should provide high reflectivity of IR spektrum and retain the maximal transparency for visible light.

FEM modeling of thermo-mechanical interaction in rubber block
Pešek, Luděk ; Půst, Ladislav ; Šulc, Petr
The FEMLAB code based on weak formulation of PDE’s problem was used at a solution of feedback thermo-mechanical interaction in damping bodies by finite element method. In our approach structural motion and heat conduction equations are solved interactively as time dependent problems. The conservative energy law, i.e. equality of heat energy density and dissipation energy density, realizes the coupling between the equations. The dissipation energy density is computed according to the assumed damping model. In the contribution the results, such as temperature versus strain distribution, of thermo-mechanical processes in case of a plane strain deformation under static compression and cyclic dynamic loading concerning mechanical energy lost modeled as proportional damping, heat generation, heat transfer between rubber and outer steel parts, cooling problem and changing stiffness and damping coef.

Numerické modelování nestacionárního proudění viskozní tekutiny ve 2D kanále pro nízká Machova čísla
Punčochářová, Petra ; Kozel, Karel ; Fürst, J. ; Horáček, Jaromír
The work presents an unsteady viscous flow for low upstream Mach number (M =0.012) in a 2D channel. Unsteady flow is caused by a moving part of the channel wall as a given function of time. The problem is described by the system of Navier-Stokes equations for compressible leminar flows. It is numerically solved by the explicit central finite volume version of MacCormack scheme on a grid of quadrilateral cells. Moved grid of quadrilateral cells is considered in the form of conservation laws using Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian method. Physically the flow in the symmetrical channel can present some very simple model of flow in a human vocal tract. The aim is to compare two different cases of this problem of the flowfield.

Actual economic position of USA and prediction to the future
Vlčková, Milada ; Janíčko, Martin (advisor) ; Mikuláštík, Robert (referee)
The aim of this work is to analyse the actual state of the U.S. economy (from the viewpoint of some basic economic indicators). Then I tried to predict a future trend of indicators in the next couple of years. By using statistical data, found at the websites of international organizations ( OECD,IMF etc.), I attempted to estimate the actual position of the U.S economy in the context of phase of economic cycle. Working with coincident, leading and lagging indicators, I was searching for the changes and fluctuations in economic situation. All the indicators I compared with actual real gross domestic product. With the respect for rational economic interpretation, I predicted the tendencies in the economy of the U.S in future time period. For modelling the future situation I used an econometric program GiveWin. Finally I tried to estimate the lenght of the period, in which the indicators will return to their long-term equilibrium.
