Bussiness Project – Family Education Center

The main purpose of the Master Thesis is creation of the business plan on the establishment of the new preschool education institution Family Education Center. The center will be specialized in operating a kindergarten as well as in organizing educational and personal development activities for children and adults. The theoretical part of the thesis gives some insights on the importance of the entrepreneur and enterprises in the society, provides description of the basic requirements for a business plan and characteristics of the preschool education system in the Czech Republic. Practical part provides an application of the theoretical findings on the creation of the actual business plan. This part verifies the viability and competitiveness of the business project on the basis of the market analysis, marketing and financial plan.

The business plan for SnackBag company and its expansion into the foreign markets

The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for the newly established business subject in the health food industry and evaluate the viability of the plan. The plan also includes the choice of the appropriate form of potential expansion into the foreign market. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. To create this business plan, firstly it was necessary to write down the complex theoretical framework of the basic aspects which are crucial for small and medium businesses. Secondly, it was needed to sum up the general principles of creating a business plan, characterise its structure and mention the most common mistakes and problems that entrepreneurs may encounter. The theoretical part is concluded by a description of the appropriate forms of expansion for small and medium businesses. Based on this theoretical framework the business plan for the company SnackBag was created with the emphasis on the project´s financial calculation. The calculations confirm the business plan as viable. Analysis of the main advantages and disadvantages of particular forms of expansion to foreign markets concludes that the franchise was evaluated as the most suitable for SnackBag.

Differences between men and women in the Czech labour market

This thesis consists of five articles that apply current world research on labor economics at the Czech Republic and confirms the significant differences between men and women in this market. It shows that gender has a significant influence on the preference on the labor market and, consequently, on employment and health. First, the thesis shows that preferences are relevant determinant of career and then we study the difference in preference of salary for men and women. Subsequently it shows that gender plays a significant role in explaining the relationship between homeownership, and unemployment, as well as unemployment and health. The first chapter was able to demonstrate that the preference for a career has a positive influence on the choice of career. The influence of higher education on prioritizing career proved to be positive and significant. Probability of a career choice is reduced by the presence of children, however, is not dependent on their number, which is contrary to the theory of preferences. The second chapter shows that Czech women prefer more non-monetary rewards than men. It has also been shown that people with university education are same in the preferences of non-monetary rewards regardless of the gender of the respondents, however, compared to the world's research, the Czech higher education increases this preference. It turned out that women prefer risk less than men. The third chapter demonstrates that although the housing market undermines labor mobility and employment in the Czech Republic at the regional level, therefore, that in regions with a higher rate of home ownership is higher unemployment, at the individual level, the owners of housing are unemployed are less likely. The estimates are significantly different for men and women. Men living in owner-occupied housing have a higher likelihood of employment than women. At regional level, however, this thesis shows that the high rate of home ownership increases unemployment for both men and women, in the long run only to women. The fourth chapter showed that men transition to homeownership reduces the likelihood of unemployment next year. For women, this relationship has proved to be insignificant. In addition, as insignificant showed the opposite relationship, the transition from unemployment to the newly acquired home ownership. The last chapter shows that the change in the working status to unemployment will increase in the future probability of worse health. Influence in less than two years, however, proved to be significant. An important conclusion is that men have a significantly stronger relationship between health and unemployment than women.

Aesthetic standards in art education

In this thesis paper, application of aesthetic norms in visual art education has been studied from the explanatory point of view of structuralism (with an emphasis on Czech Structuralism). The study has been carried out as a qualitative research focused on didactic analysis of teaching processes. The aim has been to find out the extent of impact aesthetic norms may have on visual art education teaching process; to examine ways of handling aesthetic norms by teachers during the lessons; as well as to verify or newly develop a fundamental conceptual apparatus enabling to handle the aesthetic norms issue within visual art education lessons in a material way. The study is grounded in records of standard teaching units (written records of lesson observations; videotaping). In his study, the author applies the concept analysis method - a methodological means for didactic reflection and evaluation of teaching based on creative tasks and activity approach. Mapping the Possibilities of Dílny Tvořivosti Development

My bachelor's dissertation is mainly focused on mapping the possibilities of implementing activities in the field of employment support for handicapped people in the small region of Opočensko, which is situated in the Královéhradecký region. I analyze current needs of handicapped people expressed through other social and educational service providers and also the state of the local social service market. I map the state of community and strategic planning of the towns Dobruška, Nové Město nad Metují, Opočno and the Královéhradecký region. The summary of its present progress and outputs concerning mainly the state and planned development of social services is further used for more specific definition of the activity of Dílny Tvořivosti nonprofit organization branch in the small region and for framing a draft of a proposed project directly addressing the local situation. In this way I have reached, as I firmly believe, a qualified decision that Dílny tvořivosti can offer its present experience in the field of supporting integration of people threatened with social exclusion and contribute to the solution of current issues of the region in this field. Crosscurricular aspects in Physics seminars

The thesis opens up the current topics and recent results of both experimental and theoretical physics in a connection to other disciplines belonging to so called natural science (biology, chemistry) and also information and communication technologies. It uses an attractive and understandable form of learning objects - students' projects, worksheets, or lists for teachers. The thesis involves the theoretical part with explanation of two education methods - inquiry-based learning (IBL) and problem-based learning (PBL) and also practical part with 5 topics - 3D vision, LCD monitors, luminiscence, microwave and pi-water. All of them are composed of information for teachers and of the worksheets for students. It is addressed to high school students.

Alternative forms of family cohabitation

The title of the "Alternative forms of family cohabitation" includes two relative sections - different sex cohabitants and same sex cohabitants. This title analyses the prior, actual and future situation of sex cohabitants and these legislative forms in Czech Republic. The title concerns their evolution, genesis, destruction, duties and rights persons of different sex cohabitants and persóns of same sex cohabitants in the privat and public area. The tendency of this title is critical evaluation the actual legal regulations and the necessity of the new legal rebulations and this in the case of the same sex cohabitants and in the different sex cohabitants.

History of Kupferstich-Kabinett (Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs) in Dresden between 1720 and 1780

The work describes history and development of Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs in Dresden in the years 1720 - 1780. Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs in Dresden was established in 1720 by Frederick Augustus I, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland (as Augustus II the Strong). The first director of Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs in Dresden Johann Heinrich Heucher bought a large Gottfried Wagner collection of drawings from Leipzig in 1728. Carl Heinrich Heinecken, the second director of Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs, cooperated with the art connoisseur and art collector Pierr Mariette from France. Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs in Dresden was avaible for the public in the second half of the 18. century. At the end of this work there is supplemented brief catalog of selected Drawings of the Italian masters of the 15th century from Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs in Dresden. These Italian drawings were a part of collection in Dresden already also in the years 1720 - 1780. Drawings are descripted and characterized there. The reproductive strategies of families in the Czech Republic

The Bachelor thesis deals with reproductive strategies and family behavior in the Czech Republic. The thesis points on changes in form, function and value of the family both in its evolution (especially characteristics of modern and traditional family). It describes changes in the Czech society since 1989 including the factors, which influence reproductive behavior of young people. The significant aspects describing the current Czech family include growing number of unmarried cohabitation, increasing number of illegitimate children, the increase of autonomy and individuality, post pohement of entry into marrge and birth of first child for later date, high divorce-rate and new alternative forms of family life. In the work are given this thesis oves these indicatous into historical end european context.
