Comparison of legal regulation of basic institutions of a residential cooperative in Poland and the Czech Republic

THE COLLATION A REGULATION OF FUNDAMENTAL INSTITUTES OF HOUSING COOPERATIVES IN POLAND AND THE CZECH REPUBLIC This work aims to capture qualities and shortcomings of the legislation in one of the important sectors of housing, the cooperative sector, in the context of a comparison of the two national legislations - in the Czech Republic and Poland. In both compared legislations, cooperative has its special character and long-standing tradition, which was introduced immediately in the introductory sections. The cooperative sector is the merit of this work. The issue of housing is always up to date, moreover, in practice we many time encounter with the uncertainties associated with the housing issue. Cooperative law in the area of housing is interesting in particular, with regard to incompleteness, and, in some cases, to insufficiency of Czech legislation, distinguish it from, more or less, consistent realization of housing cooperatives in Poland. Although both legislations have similar sources and traditions, and their characteristic developments, in the field of the law the willingness of legislators to adapt an important part of ensuring significantly differs from the housing requirements of the population. Propagation of inclined cracks to the interface of ceramic laminates

Composite materials with laminated structure provide advantages which are utilised during component design. Low density, temperature and chemical stability are the profitable properties predetermining application of ceramic laminates. The main obstacle for wide spread of ceramic materials is their inherent brittleness. Therefore, in this thesis, the crack propagation in ceramics laminates has been extensively studied. Laminated structures with various volume fractions of components (alumina and zirconia) were prepared by electrophoretic deposition. Evaluation of crack propagation through the interface and determination of basic mechanical properties was conducted on the basis of extensive literature search. Crack deflection originated in both presence of internal stresses and differences in elastic modulus during the crack interface passing was monitored. A special type of specimen geometry was employed with the aim to set arbitrary angle between crack and interface. It was experimentally found that the degree of crack deflection is dependent on entering angle and volume fraction of components. Higher crack deflection was already found in the bulk of the test piece comparing to the test piece surface. The 3D fracture surface reconstruction generated using laser confocal microscopy was used in this detailed crack propagation study. Further basic elastic and strength characteristics of laminates were determined and compared to those obtained from monolithic materials. The validity of the mix rule for elastic characteristics was confirmed by comparing of elastics modulus. The most reliable method for elastic modulus determination was marked the dynamic resonance method due to low scatter and consistency in measurement. The flexural strength of all laminates tends to be close to the flexural strength of the weakest component. Therefore the mix rule is not applicable for flexural strength estimation on the contrary of elastic characteristics. The change of component volume fraction leads only to change of flexural strength scatter. Thanks to gained knowledge about crack propagation and basic characteristic determination will be possible to design ceramic laminates more efficiently for given needs of application.

Marketing Activities of Retail Chain

The diploma thesis analyzes marketing activities of retail chains in the Czech Republic. It summarizes basic knowledge about trade, marketing, marketing communications and basic methods of marketing research. It deals with particular retail chains with focus on modern trade, from the traditional trade it focuses on COOP chain. It examines different marketing activities of retail chains and sets best practice. For COOP chain is carried out a deeper analyses of marketing activities based on approach of SWOT analyses. The thesis also uses a knowledge from questionnaires: one was the internet questionnaire and the other was conducted via personal questioning among COOP customers. Final proposals incorporate marketing activities that can be used in any retail chain and also a set of recommendation of marketing activities designated especially for COOP chain.

Bussiness Project – Family Education Center

The main purpose of the Master Thesis is creation of the business plan on the establishment of the new preschool education institution Family Education Center. The center will be specialized in operating a kindergarten as well as in organizing educational and personal development activities for children and adults. The theoretical part of the thesis gives some insights on the importance of the entrepreneur and enterprises in the society, provides description of the basic requirements for a business plan and characteristics of the preschool education system in the Czech Republic. Practical part provides an application of the theoretical findings on the creation of the actual business plan. This part verifies the viability and competitiveness of the business project on the basis of the market analysis, marketing and financial plan.

Cost Management in the Company

The diploma thesis is focused on costs, calculation and primarily analysis of calculation systems and formula. The thesis is divided into two main parts – theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on explanation between financial and management accounting, description of basic terms and expense classification. Attention is given to system of calculation, its items, and calculation formula. Mention belongs to modern access of calculation – ABC. Practical part is focused on company Prefa Brno a.s., which main part of business is production and sale of building products and components. Shortly is mentioned characteristic of company, its history, present, sales and SWOT analysis. The main orientation of diploma thesis is on calculation system of the company, its descrtiption, methods of set-up and anylysis. Closing part of thesis includes summary of basic pieces of knowledge from analysis of calculation formula (system), which is compared with method of target casting, which belongs to modern methods of strategic management accounting. In the last part is given calculation in the case of additional item of material rate and quantification of impacts.

Motivation of pupils in secondary schools

The name of this thesis is "Motivation of secondary vocational school students". The first part is focused on explanation of terms. The main motivation approach and basic source of motivation are mentioned there. There are motivation reasons for the study stated in the end of this part. The practical part consists of questionary research, where the quantitative analysis has been used. The main goal of this work is to inspect the motivation of secondary vocational school students when choosing of study field with special focus on engineering and interest in technics itself.

Physical education for pupils with physical disability on the first grade of basic school

My dissertation occupies by physical education for pupils with physical disability. The aim of this dissertation is to chart the educational process at physical education of pupils with physical disability and compare theory with current practice at schools. Teoretic part of the dissertation attends to personality of the teacher and pupil, didactics and methodics of development motoric abilities and skills of pupil with physical disability. It deals with teaching methods, with forms of organization and with structure of unit of physical education, with motivation, evaluation and classification of pupils. Practical part of dissertation explores problems in physical education from a teacher's view. It maps over preparation of the teacher to physical education, the proportion of pupils, which attend to physical education and pupils, which don't and number of assistants in classes. It collects information about the most freguently kinds of motivation and problems which the teacher meets in the physical education. Sexual life in Parkinson's disease

The diploma thesis deal with the topic of sexual life of people suffering from the Parkinson's disease (PD). The theoretical part contains basic information about PD and the results of researches on sexuality of people with this illness, focusing on the agents that infl uence PD. The empirical part comprises of a research project implemented on a set of 103 people with PD. In order to describe the specifi cs of the patients' sexual lives, two sets of questions were designed (separate for men and women), containing a questionnaire on sociodemographic features, psychological (BDI-II, STAI) and sexuological questionnaires. The acquired data was statistically elaborated by means of the programme SPSS. Results of the sexuological questionnaires (GRISS, FSFI, SFŽ3, SFM, IIEF) show a decrease in sexual functions and a presence of sexual dysfunctions connected with PD. With the help of regressive models, it was elicited that in case of men with this illness, the most infl uential agent on their sexual life is depression and subjectively scoring the illness, in case of women the agent of depression and anxiety.
