The Integration of Disabled People to the Leisure Time International Projects

The topic of this thesis is integration of the physically disabled into international exchange projects. By chosing this issue, I would like to point out the importance of integration of physically disadvantaged not only into educational facilities, where the integrated gain knowledge, but also into programs for free-time activities of children and youth and into programs where the informal and enterntaining ways are used. However, in the Czech Republic the integration of physically disadvantaged into schools is elaborated the best, I believe it needs to be attended to in other fields too. Another point I draw attention to in my thesis is the need for free time in a person's life. I specifically mean the free time dedicated to various activities either beneficial to one's health, bringing joy or as a way of relaxation. By the end of my theoretical part I describe the handicap in a persons's life. In the practical part I describe the EU program - Youth in Action, which enables young peope to travel into foreign countires for either short or long term period. Importance of nannies in a family of a child with special needs

This thesis deals with the problems of babysitting children with special needs. The theoretical part is primarily devoted to the characteristics of healthy child development. Consequently, it provides a comparison of optimal child development with the development of handicapped children. It highlights the difficulty of care for disadvantaged children, the importance of preventing parents becoming overloaded and the various possibilities for support of the families. The next chapter focuses on the educational assessment of healthy children and children with special needs. It describes the availability of babysitting services for those children, the offers of current agencies and the profile of good quality carers. The last chapter presents the empirical part of this thesis. The quantitative research was, with the use of questionnaires, addressed to the parents of children with special needs. This section presents the course of the research and the method by which the goals were attained. It presents the views of parents of children with special needs with regards to: their level of interest in, and the problems with, babysitting services. Social policy of the Czech Republic in relation to families with disabled children and its effectiveness in the fight against social exclusion

Bachelor thesis "Social policy of the Czech Republic in relation to families with disabled children and its effectiveness in the fight against social exclusion" deals with the problem of the risk of social exclusion of families who take care of the disabled children. The theoretical part contains a summary of theoretical concepts and values which bind to the topic, and includes the conceptualization of terms that are the subject of this thesis essential. In the analytical part are defined the main instrument of social policy in the Czech republic in relation to families with disabled children and based on interviews with concrete families there is an assessment of the social security system of familes with disabled children from the perspective of its users. Based on interviews are also identified the main problems which families with disabled children face. The conducted research shows that families who take care of disabled children are faced with many problems especially existencial and the social help system of families with disabled children does not sufficiently protect against the risk of social exclusion of mentioned families.
Release of pupils from physical education in elementary schools

Title of the thesis: Release of pupils from physical education in elementary schools Aims of the thesis: The aim of this thesis was to find out the main causes of the release of pupils from physical education (PE) at 8 primary schools in the districts of Kolín and Nymburk, to outline the health consequences of release, to monitor the situation regarding the number of pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and to examine the subjective opinions of teachers on the issue using fieldwork data collection. Method: It is a questionnaire survey conducted at 8 primary schools in the district of Nymburk and Kolín. The research group consisted of 16 physical education teachers (2 teachers from each school), 12 women and 4 men. The questionnaire is divided into 2 parts. The first part, where general information and pupil numbers were collected, was completed by all respondents. The second part was intended for those who have pupils in their class with special educational needs. Results: 4.46 % of pupils were released from physical education at the schools interviewed in 2018/2019. The most common reason for TV release is muscle, skeletal or connective tissue disease (27 %). Analysis of the current offer of leisure activities with focus on physical activity for primary school pupils with special needs in Prague

Title: Analysis of the current offer of leisure activities with focus on physical activity for primary school pupils with special needs in Prague Objectives: The main objective of this work is to analyze the services offered in the field of leisure activities with focus on sports and physical activity (PA) for primary school pupils with special educational needs (SEN) in Prague. Methods: We use two sources of data in our qualitative research. The first source is data obtained from the analysis of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports specifically for this research. The second source of data is a modified survey questionnaire created by Linhartova (2018). The questionnaire responses were obtained from 49 respondents, who were managers of centers and instructors of PA who provide leisure PA in Prague. Results: The research discovered insufficient support for PA among Prague primary school pupils with SEN in their free time. It turned out that on the one hand the offer of provided PA is not adapted to children with SEN and in the same way the offered activities are used by these children only to a very small extent, where it is more about individuals.
