Sc., Ph.D. Abstract Location as a geopolitical concept is one of the most fundamental variables being used in research since the beginning of geopolitics itself. Yet, usages of the concept in geopolitical literature point to different conceptualizations of location which, in turn, provide different explanations of causal properties this concept has on the state's behavior. This logical inconsistency imbedded in the concept of location sets up a fundamental question: what location, as a concept, is and how does it produce causal effect onto a state? Following that another question arises: can this inconsistency be resolved through reconceptualization? By identifying the set of different attributes assigned to the concept of location in existing literature determination of inconsistency has been made and used as a basis for reconceptualization of location. Product placement as a means of marketing communication: Different approach between commercial and public service concept

Bachelor thesis deals with product placement as a possible means of marketing communication. It is focused on the historical development, theoretical classification in marketing and communication mix, typology of product placement and the Czech legal system. The main part of this work is the content analysis of two selected films with the partnership of commercial and public television. There is used a method of comparison for laws, codes of organization and types of product placements. It turned out that these sources define only basic rules for product placement and that the approach depends on the authors and their sense and willingness to co-work with partners.
China's Outward FDI in Central and Eastern Europe

China's emergence as one of the largest FDI source country has attracted global attention. There are many researches on the determinants and characteristics of China's outward FDI, but there are only few researches about China's outward FDI in CEE countries. Based on the dataset, which comprises data of 11 CEE EU member states over the period 2003-2014, this thesis investigates the determinants and patterns of China's outward FDI in CEE-11 countries by using a panel data technique. The regression results reveal that for the whole sample period, culture proximity and existing trade relation have significantly positive impacts and China's FDI in CEE-11 is negatively associated with the institution environment of host country. And the results also demonstrate that determinants of China's FDI in CEE-11 change over time. Besides, political relation is also an important influential factor and policy makers should put more effort to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
Achievements of our swimmers during the World competitions between 1950 and 2012

Name: Achievements of our swimmers on the World competitions since 1950 to nowadays. Goal: The goal of my work will be to gather significant results and success of Czech swimmers on the competitions of World, European and Olympics class and to judge a development of success of our swimmers through the time. On the significant performance of swimmers try to show capability of our swimmers to achieve the best results on competitions. Methods: In this thesis is used basic research of data which is important for main part of thesis. Results are stated on bases of strict standarts and they are choosing just from mentioned competitions. Than we use a comparison of data and then we use some basic maths operations to show results. Results: From the choose sources we found data and create a list of presences our swimmers on competitions of MS, ME, OH. Our results show a final position of swimmer in a competition, his time, Fina points and percentage value of his performance to his Pb. Results showing us that counts of our competitors is growing by the time 1950 - 2012. And on a last place we shortly show how swimmers were capable to focus their best physical conditions to the most important competitions. The diploma thesis deals with analysis of the current situation of the company operating in wine industry to suggest a proposal of marketing strategy focusing on wine production, from the point of view of modification conventional production to biowine production. The work includes thorough strategic analysis of external and internal environment which is summarize in SWOT analysis and based on outputs the proposals are suggested in marketing mix 4 P.
Analysis and Evaluation of the Placement of Buildings according to the Building Code in Brno-venkov

This thesis analyses and evaluates the placement of buildings according to the building code. The thesis has two parts: in the theoretical part, it describes the building code and basic concepts related to the placement of buildings, and analyses the forms of planning permission in detail. Since the issue of the placement of buildings is quite extensive, it is the thesis deals with the exceptions of buildings situation rules more in detail, namely with Decree No. 501/2006 Coll. The second, practical part, shows the procedure of proceedings these exceptions on three examples from Brno-venkov region. At the end of the thesis, goals and results of the work are evaluated.

Aim subject of this bachelor theses is to characterize useful procedures and principles and their application in housing assessment, i.e. an apartment. This bachelor theses is divided into two parts. First, teoretical part deals with the legal regulation of housing assessment in Czech Republic, furthermore it brings determination and characterization of basic terms as well as it introduces various ways how to make the housing assessment. Practical part deals with the nature of the housing market. In practical part is also value the specific unit in Jindřichův Hradec. The valuation is made by the metod by marktet value and the method acording to the administrative price regulation. Finally the applied methods are compared.
Proposal of Marketing Strategy of Schwarzwolf Outdoor Brand

The thesis describes a proposal of iMi Partner, a.s. marketing strategies for entering new markets with Schwarzwolf outdoor brand. The proposal section contains a summary measure for the achievement of expanding the product into new markets and for strengthening the brand. The proposed section is preceded by a strategic analysis of external and internal environment of the company. Part of this work is devoted to the marketing as its theoretical starting point.
