Family environment and adolescent alcohol consumption

This diploma thesis Family environment and adolescent alcohol consumpiton deals with a relationship between four dimensions of family environment and alcohol consumption of sixteen years old adolescents. These four dimensions are leisure time, family structure, parenting style and socioeconomic status. In the theoretical part family influence on child's development is described and then socialization process through which family influence child's development is delimited. Further, the relationship between family environment and alcohol consumption is discussed and then four dimensions of family environment are characterized in context of alcohol consumption. Relationship between family environment and alcohol consumption was studied using mixed research design. In the main quantitative part of the thesis general relationships between chosen dimensions of family environment and alcohol consumption indicators were examined using data from European School Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs (ESPAD) from the year 2007. Then a typology of adolescent alcohol consumers was made. Results of this part continued in the qualitative part. Leisure Activities in Rural and Urban Environments; a Case Study of the Prague and Vysočina Regions

The submitted thesis deals to describe and analyze the extent to which different leisure activities in urban and rural regions. I will explain in more detail in particular the frequency of leisure activities in the city of Prague and the rural Vysočina regions. Part of the work is a general specification of the leisure time, city and country, the impact on various aspects of leisure and brief demographic and socio-economic analysis of the Prague and Vysočina regions. The main part is a quantitative processing and analyses of secondary data target the leisure activities. Attention will also focus on leisure activities based on different gender, age, level of education, earner and size of the village. Subordinated parts of this work are structured interviews with people from the rural area.
Impact of social exclusion on the human psyche

Abstract This work deals with the influence of social marginalization on the human psyche. The theoretical part explores different theories on social marginalization and its influence on the human psyche. Individual themes that build up the social context, namely unemployment, poverty, education as well as health and health care, are also examined in depth. The practical part is based on a questionnaire-guided inquiry that surveys how life in socially marginalized localities influences the human psyche, what particular factors affect the behaviour and experiences of people living in these localities and how choices of free time activities influence acceptance into the community. The results are analyzed and presented with the aid of graphs. Key findings are summed up in the discussion and conclusion. The work seeks to underscore the importance of field work for social workers working with people living in socially marginalized areas, the positive influence of role models, the effects of value orientation and the provision of leisure activities for children and youth in socially marginalized areas.
Life Values and Value Orientation of Children in the Village and in the City

This thesis deals with the problems of values at two levels. The first level applies to level orientations of Czech and British society - a review of how much the liberal traditions and different degree of modernization affect on values of adult population with the aim of discover how much are the values unlike. The second level deals with the difference of values of adolescents in the country and in the town. On the level fo adults were discovered differences of values in the country and in the town, on the grounds of that was the goal of the second part do find out, if this difference applies on adolescents too due to the effect of environment. The first part is based on the analysis of up to now newest data of EVS of 2008, in the second part was performed a survey between two hundreds of eight-grade students of a elementary school. The survey affirmed the approximation of values in the country and in the town of Czech Republic to Great Britain in the young generation of 15 - 29 years. In the future is another approximation of values independent on place of residence and bigger approximation to modern western Europe expected. Influence of leisure activities on the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities

This thesis deals with leisure activities that have an impact on leisure and quality of life of persons with severe mental disabilities. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of people with intellectual disabilities, their social integration, the concept of quality of life and leisure activities for the full use of their free time. The practical part is devoted to leisure activities that are provided to clients with severe mental disabilities in Liberec DH. In this part the processing of his observations in the context of the research. In conclusion evaluates the fulfillment of the objectives of this thesis.
Subculture of hooligans in soccer club Bohemians Praha 1905

This bachelor thesis is focused on the action and behavior of fans and hooligans in football stadiums. Bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part will introduced basic concepts such as hooligans or ultras. Another part focuses on the history of football hooliganism in the Czech Republic and also describes the activities associated with this scene, especially the conflict or "third half". The final part of the bachelor thesis is devoted subculture of hooligans in the football club Bohemians Prague 1905. This section is for their own fieldwork approached fan and hool situation in these traditional Prague football club and there is also described the history of the football club Bohemians Prague 1905.
